@Peaceless okay how is this. for the side effect, what if it forces his body, since it doesn't have the energy, it starts attacking his organs, and not just one, all of them.. like he has a total "mild" organ failure as a result.. Kidneys, Liver, Spleen, etc. til he can get the food and energy needed, so his body's increased healing can kick back in and jump start everything back up.

Uh, that's kind of extreme, I don't think he should be hospitalized because of that. But why not? :-)

Also, bear in mind that we are not talking about near-death here. The body is unable to use up all of its energy efficiently, because some energy-producing processes take a lot of time and are thus unavailable in emergencies. Which is where Chris's power comes in. I was thinking more along the lines of dizziness, fainting, disorientation, loss of control over limbs, loss or weakening of senses, pain etc.

@Peaceless ah, i gotcha to extreme.. lol. might have taken that baton you gave me and ran a little to far. my bad. uh.. the loss of limbs would be good i think, for someone that is always moving, on the move. not being able to control his limbs or move would be horrible for him.
