In feudal times, for some cultures there was no concept of a teenager. 12 year olds were considered men and expected to participate in armed manhunts for criminals.

Yup, Tin has its own idea of adulthood.
I know it and until last century Yllendthyr had no laws on child labor.
The fact elves consider 30 the age of maturity for them even though in terms of physical development that equals 12-13 year olds is telling enough.

Is that a proverb for Ventium?
Because it certainly doesn't work as an actual practice.

You are not a man until you have set flame to your enemies in the name of Kal, and sold at least one weapon.

I'm moving homes tommorrow and spending a lot of time packing today. So while I will certainly be working on my post, I can't promise it will move quickly. I hope you all understand, moving isn't easy.

EDIT: Moving houses, I mean.

@Voltus_Ventus

To be blunt I'm a bit nervous at the pace at which this has started. Normally there is a storm of posts in the first few days. After we all spent so long working on sheets and histories I thinm it's fair to say that we really don't want this RP to sizzle out.

I recall someone a few pages back asking if they were too late. I think we should let them in. I'd say that the map has room enough for two more nations, and I really feel that we should see if we can fill in those spots. I personally don't think that we're to a point where there are too many posts or nations to keep track of.

Just my two cents. Anybody else care to chime in regarding this?

Edit: Come to realize, I retract my statement about the pace being slow. It's only been a few days and posts are in progress, with some sheets still in the works.

But I still think that we could let a few more people in.

I certainly think we should fill up the map. I'm not very good at arguing something purely opinion- I'm more the fact based sort of person- but I believe that adding more people and clearing up those infuriating white spots could not lead to any sort of negative impact, and there's no reason to keep potential players out of an RP

And as for the slow pace, I think as long as everyone gets a post up within 5 days of the initial IC than it's a solid indicator that the RP is coming along well

Tick, tock, Hael! Five days? That means three days to pack up, move, unpack something you can use to write on the Internet, and then get a post up! And then you still have to finish two sections of your history and write about the military! And by then you will have fallen behind IC and will need to wrote more posts. IS THE STRESS GETTING TO YOU YET?!?!

But seriously, I hope the move goes well. For whatever reason my family has moved a lot in the past, so I know how stressful and annoying it can be.
