It is said that one should not look to their betters and see themselves in their seat. It is said that commoners are nothing but lowly pigs in human clothes by those of stronger blood lines. And it is also said that the world is filled with people of ambition as well. As the Kiryuin Family expands it's holdings across the world more and more young people and old families are being swallowed by their grip. Cultures, nations, and entire people are slowly becoming a part of their new system. Some people resist to varying successes. Some people want to continue on with their lives and do their best to move on in the system created by the new powerful family. However as it is said a disease takes weeks to get rid of...and some never fully go away. The story of a young group of adolescent kids of little prestige make their way to the city of Kyushu, A prototype of the city known as Honoji where the famous Satsuki Kiryuin now rules with an iron fist for her mother, with the intent of taking it over...by using it's own system against it. These teenagers were assigned by a man called Director Kenta Sanshiro, a former president of a school called Berlin High from deep in Germany that was taken over by the Kiryuin about two years ago. In an attempt to regain a foothold and force out the Kiryuin Company these children have an assigned goal: Take the city's Goku uniforms and turn the city over to to Kenta. These kids were assigned to this for various reasons and some different than others. Each may have their own reason to take out the Kiryuin family or maybe it's just all a game to them? Regardless as these children make their way to the city under the control of the nephew of Ragyo Kiryuin, Nero Kiryuin the famed son of a distant relative of the infamous business woman, and with their journey to the city coming to an end...a whole new one starts...for better or worse.

1. Kamui uniforms won't be available for use to us in this roleplay. I may consider changing this late game in the roleplay but due to the rarity of the uniforms and their powers I don't like giving such powerful items away. For more info see the lines at the bottom of the FAQ to see how we'll be starting in regards to uniforms.
2. Your character will need a specific set of weaknesses not just some personality junk actual physical downsides. Range/Tactics/Physical capabilities. Your character should have a good rounded set of strengths and weaknesses.
3. This is not a low casual roleplay. I expect at least a paragraph and a half per post and a character sheet with some depth put into it. If there is some plot point you don't want included then add fluff or tell me about it.
4. As GM I reserve the right to deny your character if I don't like it. Likewise I have the final word in what happens in this roleplay. Like Satsuki Kiryuin I have no time for pigs in human clothing who think they're better than the system. That being said I am not some evil despot. I will compromise with you. You can argue but how successful you will be in doing so will vary.
5. If you join this roleplay or show interest please tell me if you drop out or lose interest. Resulting in not doing so will result in a barring from any of my future roleplays. I have an extreme distaste for any people who lack the simple courtesy of saying "I'm out sorry'

Strengths
Adaptable Mentality – Claudette is an adaptable individual, able to easily adapt to changing circumstances to make the best of the situation. Attacks that try to affect the mind are far more likely to be resisted and can exert some control over her emotional state.
Observation and Analysis – Claudette is very observant and is able to discern details that go unnoticed by most, allowing her to make accurate assessments as to the strengths and weaknesses of her opponents and allies alike. The longer the period of observation the greater amount of information she can ultimately discern about the subject.
Anatomy – Claudette’s knowledge of anatomy benefits her in a wide variety of situations. A knowledge of how the human body functions and how it is constructed give her the knowledge needed to perform very specific, surgical strikes that partially negates her low combat strength when it comes to inflicting damage. Her knowledge of human biology also allows her to formulate effective poisons and remedies.
Steady Hand – Claudette’s attacks are accurate and precise and therefore less likely to miss her intended target.

Weaknesses
Physique – Strength of mind does not automatically equal strength of body. Claudette’s preference for intellectual pursuits has led to below average physical traits such as strength, endurance and stamina. As expected her normal combat damage is relatively low.
Non-Combatant – A lack of combat experience results in more generic attacks that leave openings that can be easily exploited by professional combatants. With that said lacking a set style of combat can have advantages.
Target Fixation – Claudette can become target fixated, blinding her to the larger situation as a whole, making it easier for her to be distracted by imposing/bothersome opponents. This is most likely to occur if she is made angry.

Favourite Activity: Biology Club

Personality: A borne scientist Claudette is a bright, curious and intelligent young woman with something of a ‘flexible’ approach to ethical considerations. As such she tends to see the world in terms of cause and effect rather than in terms of good and evil. Because of this she is able to consider courses of action that to others might seem unethical, irresponsible or outright reprehensible to those with a more rigid sense of morality. With that said it should be noted that Claudette is not a bad person and is a surprisingly loyal and protective friend. She does however have a tendency to form…unhealthy…attachments to specific individuals. Very unhealthy attachments.

Biography: Claudette is a full time student at the prestigious Berlin High academy. Originally a student in a similar institution in Paris Claudette was approached by representatives of Berlin High academy after a series of articles printed in a well-respected scientific journal were brought to their attention. These of course were authored by Claudette. Suitably impressed they offered her the chance to study in an environment that would broaden her horizons immeasurably. An orphan with few attachments Claudette was moved to the academy where she now lives in permanent student accommodation provided for free by the academy to all of its gifted students.

Academically speaking Claudette is one of the brightest students when it comes to mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology and other scientific subjects taught at Berlin High. In contrast however she is something of a self-confessed dunderhead when it comes to non-scientific subjects and possess little motivation in regard to improving in those areas. This is especially true for physical classes, with Claudette virtually always last. Socially she is neither popular nor unpopular and gets along with anyone willing to put up with her often erratic behaviour for any significant length of time. It should be noted that the majority of her close friends are of the male persuasion, however none are romantically involved with her.

As to her inclusion on the infiltration mission into a certain foreign organisation the reasons are primarily twofold. Firstly her ability to observe and analyse a wide variety of information in a critical and accurate manner will be of great benefit to the team as a whole, giving them insights into the abilities, strengths and weaknesses of their enemies. The more she can discover and relay back to Berlin High about the so called ‘Goku’ uniforms the better. Secondly her personality makes her a good fit for just about any team assembled due to her highly flexible and adaptable mentality. Her lack of ethical considerations will also no doubt prove useful should more…extreme methods be required.

Weapons
Acupuncture Needles – With precision it is possible to target a persons pressure points allowing Claudette to disable parts of the body, including muscle response and pain reception. Though they can be thrown successful attacks are far more likely to occur at close range, especially if the target is unaware. Only exceptional individuals can overcome the induced paralysis of their own accord.

Items
Medical Equipment – For the treating of wounds, burns and abrasions. Claudette is also able to perform blood transfusions if the need arises. This kit also includes a wide variety of medication such as adrenaline, tranquillisers and painkillers.
Medicinal Acupuncture Needles – Designed specifically for the administration of restorative medication straight into the bloodstream. For when normal administration is not an option.
Scalpel – Because you never know when the chance for some impromptu experimentation might occur. Though incredibly sharp it is unsuitable as a mainstay weapon of choice.

Well it's not that she can't fight so much as she has no experience with fighting anyone. Though I could make her more combat ready if you would prefer it that way. My intention was that she should be the weakest fighter in the group, especially at the start of the story. The idea I have for her two/three star Goku uniforms will go a long way to put her on par with the others, especially if the other characters help to train her *hint hint*

Joshua has a perfect eyesight and as such doesn't need glasses. He doesn't need to worry about fuzzy things in the distance nor the fuzzy look of items close to him. His focus can be on very distant items and close items at the same time.

[Eye on the Ball]
Many years of playing baseball has taught Joshua the key skill of keeping track of the baseball. This means that he can watch a quickly moving object with ease and track its movements with ease.

[Homerun]
A baseball's team player is a player capable of hitting a Homerun with the bases loaded. This means that all players on the team are trained to be physically capable of hitting a Homerun. Due to this training, Joshua is physically stronger than your average person and can lift pretty close to two hundred pounds.

Weaknesses:
[Poor Balance]
While having been trained to be physcially stronger, Joshua wasn't exactly trained to be an acrobat. His balance is poor and, if he puts too much in a swing, can fall flat on his face. He also isn't very good at running for a long time without falling on his face.

Joshua may be strong and intelligent but he is also lazy beyond all belief. It isn't rare to find him sleeping in the shade of a tree or in class. He also rarely does work that he is suppose to do or arrive on time for appointments.

[Swing-n-Miss]
Joshua isn't exactly the most accurate member or the Baseball team. As such, his hits are greatly outweighed by his strikes. He even occasionally misses a punch when he is less than two feet from a person and just whiffs past em.

Favorite activity: Baseball
Personality: Joshua is by far one of the most easy going and calm person you might ever find. He most definetly isn't one to get in a fight often but when he does he won't ever back out. His movements are always speady and meant to try and impress those around him. Joshua is indeed arogant even though much of said arogance is unfounded. Expecting Joshua to do something for you just cause you want him to do it is practically insane since he doesn't really do things for people unless he likes you.
Biograpy/History: Joshua wasn't much of anything special when he was born. His mother was a middle class woman who ran a small bakery while his father repaired cars at his shop. Both his parents rarely had time for him so he was often left in the care of his Uncle Toby, a baseball player. Every Monday, Wensday, and Friday, Toby took Joshua to practices to watch him play baseball. Joshua was amazed as he sat there and watched the team practice everything from pitching to running the field. Once Joshua was eight years old, Toby allowed him to join in with the training, though not to the same standards everybody else had.

Since then, Joshua was dedicated to training to play baseball. He would spend his free time pitching balls, running, and swining in the batting cages. Though he couldn't really hit all that often, Joshua could hit hard when he did. Nearly three out of five of hits he have made were home runs. As such, Joshua quickly was enlisted to his local baseball team as a home run hitter. Eventually he got into some trouble at school with another baseball player and ended up suspened from school. Because of his suspension, his parents decided to send him to the Berlin High to learn his lesson.

At Berlin High, Joshua was just an upstart baseball player with a below average hitting rate but an above average home run rate. As such, Joshua became little more than a last resort due to him being more likely to miss than actually hit the ball. This turn of events led Joshua to improve his batting average through daily training sessions in both baseball practice and practice after the other students have left. His batting average went up from a 10:1 in favor of missing to a 5:1, still in favor of missing though. Unbeknownst to Joshua, he was being watched at his after hours practices by Director Kenta. The Director was impressed by Joshua's drive to improve himself and decided that if he really wanted to improve himself, he would have to go to Kyushu. But, Joshua could only go there if he was to help several other students take down the city. Joshua agreed to help them so long as he was capable of improving himself.

I'm still hesitant about giving her a strong combat style. As she is already really high on the intellectual side I wanted to tone down the physical aspect to avoid ending up with something Mary Sue-esque. So instead I will give her access to a better weapon and a style that revolves around it. I'll adjust her strengths/weaknesses accordingly.

Star Ranking/Goku Uniform - No-Star

Strengths
Street Fighter – More of a street fighter than a martial artist, Reynard’s combat style incorporates techniques from a variety of sources that make him a versatile, unpredictable combatant. It also lets him more easily mimic moves he has seen his opponents use, especially if they use them on him directly.
Prime Physique – The opposite of his sister Claudette, Reynard possesses a strong physique, giving him solid physical strength, endurance and stamina. His speed and reflexes aren’t too shabby either.
Adrenaline Rush – Reynard enjoys fighting and other dangerous situations far more than is normal, his body having a greater adrenal capacity than is normal. This allows him to shrug off a great deal of pain and injury, making him hard to put down short of a knockout blow from behind.

Weaknesses
Discipline – Reynard is a street fighter and that has its advantages. It also has certain disadvantages. Primary among these is the lack of discipline that comes from rigorous and repetitive training under a Master or instructor. As such he is easily riled and like his sister can become target fixated. Claudette is the only one who can rein him in when he flies of the handle in such situations.
Man of few words – By no means an intellectual man, Reynard is often slow on the uptake when he comes to difficult concepts and complicated ideas, often relying on his little sister to deal with those kinds of details. He is also a poor communicator, often leading him to be overly blunt or crude regardless of his actual intention.
Team Player – To be more precise it is his inability to follow orders and cooperate with most individuals due to having always relied on his own wits and brawn to get out of dangerous situations. Claudette is one of a few notable exceptions to this rule.

Favourite Activity: Mixed Martial Arts

Personality: A hot-blooded young man who is nothing if not blunt but honest, never mincing his words or beating around the bush. If he says it, he means it. He enjoys fighting to an extent but is by no means a battle maniac and is therefore loathe to fight people who are obviously weaker than himself. He is also very likely to stand up for total strangers, especially those of the helpless variety. Once angered the only person who can reliably control him is his little sister Claudette. Despite his tough guy appearance and attitude he can be surprisingly gentle. He has a great deal of respect for his little sisters accomplishments, as he does for anyone who is more intelligent or talented than himself, provided they are not an arrogant prick about it.

Biography: Reynard and his little sister Claudette were left orphaned by an unfortunate car accident when they were both since very young. As a result only Reynard has any solid memories of their parents. As one might expect growing up in an orphanage is not the easiest of childhoods, causing Reynard to become very protective of Claudette, going out of his way to always protect her. As they refused to be separated it became almost impossible to get them adopted. However even the closest of siblings drift apart eventually. Claudette’s academic achievements were something that Reynard could never hope to emulate, causing them to be sent to different schools.

While Claudette excelled Reynard went an altogether different path, becoming more and more disillusioned with the world in general. He started getting into fights with the local punks and thugs in his neighbourhood, learning very quickly what worked and didn’t work when it came to barebones fighting. However this violent path was not borne from a bad place, rather he became disillusioned with the state of the world. In the poorer parts of town he saw crime committed on an almost daily basis and more often than not the police did nothing about it. So he became something of a vigilante. It was a steep learning curve but like his sister he had found something he was actually good at.

When Claudette was offered the opportunity to move to the prestigious Berlin High academy he was not angry or betrayed, in fact it was him who ultimately convinced Claudette to follow her dreams. He didn’t want her to fall into his darker world. After his sister left the city the two of them stayed in contact regularly, with Reynard content to watch his sisters accomplishments from the side-lines. And he would have been happy enough to stay there. However one day several years later he was approached by a man with an interesting opportunity. One that would take him to Berlin High academy. Not as a student but as his sisters protector.

This representative of Berlin High never gave his name to Reynard, not that this surprised him in any way. However he was more than forthcoming about the mission that his sister had elected to take part in. Fearful for his sisters safety he agreed to go along with her.

3 minutes to be exact. Since I am no longer restricted by a cut-off time for my internet I'm just jumping around topics I'm in. Then again, that is just for today and tomorrow since I'm in a hotel at the moment.
