The trees and brush broke away to reveal the large blue lake that sat in the mountains' valley. Alice adjusted her bag on her back as she walked closer to it, her face in awe. She had been looking up pictures of this place since she decided to hike here but they didn't match up to the actual sight. They had started hiking from their school sometime in the early morning and the trip had taken them all day, leaving them to look at the last fading lights of the day. Tate walked passed Alice before coming to a stop and looking over it all, "So this is it?" He asked, his voice giving away his own amazement.
Alice nodded before she took off her backpack. She suddenly felt pounds lighter with the bag sitting on the ground. She turned and looked at the group, "Alright," She said with a grin, "I... I guess we should set up camp with the light we have."
Elias stepped out of the bush and threw his things down next to Alice's, which were quickly joined by Tate's. He crouched down and pulled tent and sleeping bag off of his backpack and looked at the youngest of their group, "Tents and then fire, I think."
Tate shook his head, "If we put of fire building, we won't be able to find stick... Why don't use men build the tents and let the girls find us from firewood."
He looked between Alice and Sophia, "Sound good?"
