Hello there! Some of my roleplays have slowed down and I've settled into school so I'm looking for some new roleplaying partners.

About me, I've been roleplaying for a few years. I consider myself a decent writer, a high casual one. I average a few paragraphs each response or one when I'm really low on muse. I'm fine with roleplaying MxM, FxF, or MxF (though not so keen on this one). I don't really have any limits except for extremely gory fights or unsettling pairings like incest, rape, kidnappings, ect. Let's not romanticize those things, ok? Also, I don't do fandom roleplays simply because I don't know like... any fandom... I'd prefer to roleplay over DMs, but I'm fine with thread (unless more mature content comes around, then we'd have to move to PMs). For the roleplay I like to make simple CS's and would prefer reference images to not be anime.

For a partner, I'm looking for someone who can match me in quality and quantity. I remember the scary days of being a one-liner roleplayer and I don't even know how I could have done that. Please give me at least a paragraph, that way I have something to work with. Please be 18 or older because I do like mature themes in my plots and would uncomfortable with roleplaying with a minor. Really just someone who's open, willing to work with me, and contribute and all that jazz. Also, if you want to change anything in the roleplay or stop it, please tell me. Life happens, things change, I get that. Just keep me updated and I'll do the same for you.

Favor of Aphrodite; FxF or FxM; CLOSED

This roleplay can be set in ancient or modern times or anywhere in between. The plot is based off of the myth of King Pygmalion and his marble woman (except it can be whatever gender pair). The myth goes that the lonely king carved a beautiful marble woman and fell in love with how real and life-like she looked. He adorned her with jewels, rings and fabrics that only the best money could buy. He talked to her and wished that she was real. Aphrodite's worship day came around and, like a good ruler and worshiper, the king went to Aphrodite's temple, left a sacrifice and prayed. In his prayer he also wished for his marble creation to be real. When he returned home he found that, instead of cold marble waiting for him, it was a real woman. The roleplay would pick up when the king returns home.

- I'm up for playing whichever role. It could be a queen with a male statue or whatever you'd prefer. I just kept the genders in the story so that there'd be no confusion.

Strange Lands; FxF or MxF

An adventurous young woman and her family cross the Atlantic Ocean to find their place in the New World, a land that holds promises of riches, hope and new beginnings. However, tales have crossed the seas of heathens that run around and scalp colonizers. They aren't to be trusted and no one should ever wander off, especially into the woods, alone. The woman, her family and their few traveling partners make it to the New World and manage to set up their homes and field... and a barrier. Will these Englishmen be able to survive and can the young woman be strong enough to ignore her curiosity to see what these strange people are really like?

- This would be between the young woman and a native of the land. I'd like to play the Englishwoman.

Forbidden Magic; Any Pairing

A medieval setting roleplay. The king's beloved daughter was killed when a thief, who could wield magic, accidentally set off his powers and struck the girl in her heart. After that night, magic was banned throughout the kingdom. Active magic users were hung, and those suspected of working with or having magic abilities were thrown in jail. Most of the kingdom's population were ordinary humans, so most weren't bothered with the law. Those who did have magic, however, went into hiding.

Character A, who was born a magic user, lives in hiding. Their parents were killed in the initial wave of hangings and have since been living in fear of being caught. However they still practice their work because that's their life. One day, while out collecting supplies, they stumble upon Character B, a messenger for the king who was stabbed in a highway robbery. A, not wanting to leave the poor person to die, takes the person home and heals them. When B wakes up, they're stuck with what to do: turn in A or keep them in hiding?

- I'm fine with playing either part and playing any pairing. This can end any way and I'd love to discuss plot more.

The Love Club; Any Pairing

There's a club in the underground of the city where sinners go to play. There's no rules on sex, drugs, and alcohol - if what you enjoy makes you feel stigmatized, then you'd be free to do it in the Love Club. In order to be a part of the club, you need an invite. You don't ask, you just receive. They somehow know you're perfect for the club. To keep people safe from, say, blackmailing, they keep identities a secret by making all patrons wear masks and swear not to exchange information or meet up outside the club.

Two of the patrons, our characters, meet and hit it off. In one of the many secluded rooms that the club provides, they talk/flirt/hook-up. Whether on purpose or by accident, their masks fall off and they realize... they know each other.

- This could go anyway. They could be coworkers or neighbors or whichever.

I'm gonna update this over time so, if you want, you can check back every now and then to see if I've added anything.
