Ishizu sighed with relief and said "I'm glad...thank you all for coming to my aid" Raphael moved forward and said "we brought the van so you guys can rest on the way back to Adam and Alister" Serena nodded weakly, fighting to keep her eyes open

[Jazz]

Joey felt relieved to hear that they wouldn't have to trek all the way there with Yami on his back and he was sure that Tristen was all but relieved since he had a nasty headache. Wheeler smiled. "It was no problem Ishizu. We help each other right? Though. I'm sorry for what happen. I thought you were right behind us back at the zoo when those creeps tried to go after Yami. I felt I wasn't thinking entirely." It had been biting at him since they were at the zoo, feeling the need to apologize for leaving her alone and not thinking things through entirely.

Ishizu looked at him and smiled "Joey, you have nothing to be sorry about. I was about to follow when I was hit. I should have moved as well. You have nothing to be forgiven for. Now shall we go? I'm sure the others are worried about us"

[Jazz]

Joey nodded slowly when she told him how he shouldn't be sorry. But he silently agreed with Ishizu, getting into the van after gently resting Yami in a seat and putting a seat belt on him before sitting next to him. The pharaoh nodded to his friend before leaning back, though ended up using Joey as a pillow instead. Well, his arm maybe.

Tristan set Serena down then she said "I'm alright Tristan...thank you" she sat in the front to guide Raphael who was driving them back. Tristan sat in the back with Joey, looking at the other two. "She looks worse then Yami...what the heck happened in there?"

[Jazz]

Joey didn't mind for being a pillow including with Yami fast asleep. Joey glanced to Tristen when he looked at the pair. Wheeler looked to Serena then Yami. "When you got knocked out the shadow creep tried to attack me next. That was when Rennet showed up calling me her blessed. Serena showed up too. But then that Shadow attacked her and Yami freaked out. used his powers without someone even saying his name, it was weird. Serena stopped him though and Yami passed out. Then Serena used the pendant to summon something. Guess it took alot out of her, I didnt get a good look, I-I was afraid, man. So much happened that it was took much to take in." Joey explained clearly showing that he was scared.

Tristan whistled and said "Darn...why does the good stuff happen when I'm out cold?" Raphael looked over at Serena and said "You know I can get back to the warehouse on my own right? You don't have to stay awake right now..." Serena shook her head and said "I can't rest until I'm sure Yami is somewhere safe..." Raphael looked at her, seeing even though she was barely keeping her eyes open, she had a fire burning in her eyes. Raphael nodded and said "Valon? You better call Adam and let him know we are on our way back...we just waited on Kaiba?" Serena looked around wildly and then even started to get out of the van. "He isn't back yet...I have to go after him...Drake could have..."

Joey looked over to Tristen with a slightly disappointed look toward Tristen but didn't bother saying anything. All of this was just awkward. Joey though noticed later while looking ahead that Serena was acting frantic it seemed and trying to get out of the van. As much as he didn't want to move, Joey moved forward as slid behind Joey which made the blonde wince though tried to grab her shoulder. "Calm down, Serena. I'm sure Kaiba's fine. The guy is tougher than you think." He told her, hoping she would calm down a bit to not try and fall out of the van and possibly kill herself. Unknown to Wheeler, Yami hadn't stirred, but he was laying awkwardly behind Joey.

Raphael said "I have Alister tailing Seto. He followed after you guys left. If he needs help, Alister will be there" Serena looked at him then nodded, leaning back as they headed back to the warehouse.

Adam looked up and said "hey everybody, they are heading back to the base"

[Jazz]

Joey looked behind him to help Yami gently back sitting back straight before letting his head lean on his shoulder like a pillow again till they were to return.

Marik was sitting with Odion when he heard the news from Adam with glee. His sister was safe and returning. Duke looked up from playing with his dice. He had bothered to fiddle with the amulet he had around his neck. "Sweet. Hopefully Ishizu is unharmed."

Serena looked out the window, rubbing her eyes as she watched the side streets for anything to wish Yami harm.

Adam said "Valon said she's perfect, just Yami and Serena are in rough shape. They will need some help" yugi and tea looked over, tea having brought Mokuba with her when things got hairy. Yugi siad "I hope they are alright..."

[Jazz]

Duke looked over to Yugi who spoke, giving a small smile. "I'm sure they are. Propably tired."

Yami spent the whole trip asleep with Joey quiet and as his friend's pillow. He thought used his free arm to reach and gently take hold of the trinket around his neck, looking at it and its designs till they got back to the hideout of which he would get Yami inside as the young teen stirred only a little, wanting to shift only being hard to when being held in a bridle style position.

When they pulled up Serena got out of the car slowly, using the door to hold herself up. Tristan ran over and caught her, helping her inside with the others. When they walked in yugi saw Yami and went white. "Yami..." He ran over but Ishizu caught him. "He and Serena are alright...both just tired and just in need of rest" yugi nodded as she looked around and saw Marik and Odion. "Brother..."

Serena walked in with Tristan's help, Adam running to her and helping sit her in one of the chairs by the couch where Adam showed Joey to lay Yami down.

Joey watched as Yugi went to come over to Yami. He gave a faint smile to his friend. "No worries Yug'. He'll be okay.' He said after Ishizu spoke. Duke had looked toward the commotion, having really nothing to say. Though when Marik looked to Ishizu, he stood up and went to his sister, giving her a hug like it had been years. "I'm glad your alright sister." He stayed like that for a moment before pulling away to look at him. "Will they be okay?" He asked. Joey laid Yami on the couch as comfortable as possible, taking off the Duel Disk off of Yami's wrist before sitting down infront of the couch feeling a bit relieved and taking off his own.

She nodded and said "Yes...they will be alright with rest and food...they pulled off a feat today..." Serena leaned her back then said "I'll stay with him, Joey...I'll keep an eye on him..." IShizu said "You need rest, Serena...you fought off Apep again and..." Serena cut her off saying "I will stay with Yami until I am sure he is alright and that's final" Adam looked at her, stunned to see her like this. He hadn't seen this kind of fire before. He could tell she was barely keeping upright at this point. What was driving her so much?

[Jazz]

Joey lazily looked over to Serena, having heard what she said but stayed where he was, not wanting to move and was at the moment more capable for Serena was going to pass out at some point that he was sure. Though he heard Serena snap, he looked over toward the young woman not liking the tone. "We can all watch him." Joey snapped back, getting to his feet since this was going to a battle of stubborn versus stubborn. "You don't get to choose who watches Yami. If anything you should take some good advise by getting a freakin' nap. We took turns watching you while you were resting, you can do the same." Wheeler continued. "Just take Ishizu's advise without complainin'."

Valan was actually a little surprised about Joey's snap towards Serena. But seemed that someone was looking after his friends like he always did. So you could say he was quite proud of him. Marik was silent as was Duke who he had no idea if he should say something or let Joey rant. For this though he looked to Tristen who he could tell would be able to settle Joey down.

Tristan walked over and said "Joey...maybe we could..." Adam suddenly said "Enough Boss!" Serena looked at Adam who walked over and said "That's enough...your barely able to move and your a mess right now...I don't know what has gotten into you but I've had enough of this crap!" Serena got up and stared at Adam, shaking. "I can't leave him alone...I promised I would fight this battle for him...the fear and anger in his eyes...I can't bare to ever see that again...I just...I just..." She swayed and Ishizu said "Serena?" Serena lowered her head, tears rolling down her cheeks.

"I can't bare to see my little prince like that every again...I..." she swayed again, her legs buckling under her

Joey jumped a little to look toward Adam as he too snapped, but more angry than what he was. Joey's shoulders seemed to slump down and relax, hearing her reasons. The past catching up to her it seemed. The blonde seemed to want to say something until he saw her what seemed to have been collapsing. Joey quickly went to her and caught her before she was to fall, however landed on his butt with the sudden dead weight he forgot to calculate for.

Tristan ran over to help catch her, holding them up so Serena didn't hit the floor too. He looked her over and said "She's out cold. I'm not sure at what point she was even still awake or not..." Adam sighed and said "I haven't seen her that bad sense Aaron went missing...normally shocking her back to her senses does the trick"

[Jazz]

Joey was glad that she didn't completely hit the floor. He looked over over too to see she was out cold and honestly a bit glad. "Sounded like for her the past and present are collidin'. Did you hear how she spoke? She spoke the same way in the van and in the museum. It was weird, man." Wheeler tried to get up to get her back on the chair that she had been sitting on with the help of Tristen. Once she back on the chair, Seto came opened the door to the warehouse with a passive look on his face, though looked clearly unhappy. Once he saw that Mokuba was here, he seemed to relax a little, but not by much. "Seems I missed your arrival Mokuba." None the less happy that his little brother was here and safe.
