Adam sighed with relief and said "Gus I got Yami. Yami are you and Serena alright? We have been trying to reach you two. We are heading to a location town down right by you guys that has a portal opening right now. We need you guys to..." Serena chipped in and said "Adamnits too risky. You and the others will have to handle it until we figure our plan out and we will meet you there alright?" Adam paused then said "Yami? It's your call"

Yami had not expected this in the least. Serena had told Adam what was needed to be done and Adam seemed to take her word as final. To turn to him was the surprise and for now, Yami was silent. He was left to think about this once more. To know if he was going to let his friends go in this and have no sort of way to close the gate and be unprepared. Jumbled powers or not, he could not leave his friends like this. Not at a time like this. He looked to Serena and Pegasus before making up his mind. "I will be there. Hold it off as much as you can till I arrive. I will not fail my friends again..." he mumbled the last part, remembering his past failures when he was inside sharing a body with Yugi. He turned off the comm. "If there is a way to figure out our past faster or be much more prepared here and now, let us hear it. If not, i am going to help my friends." This was final for Ysmi. He couldnt stand it.

Serena opened her mouth but Pegasus said "the king seals the final word, Guardian. You have to listen to him." Serena looked pissed. But she nodded and said "alright. We better get moving if we are going to get to that gate before something nasty comes they" she turned and headed out the door. Pegasus smiled and said "good luck you two!"

Yami looked to the two with surprise, not expecting her to come but he did not like the look on her face. He was more than willing to go. But to expect her to follow him completely. He followed her to the elevator knowing whatever Kuriboh had brought them to Pegasus, he wouldn't not know nor understand. With the elevator opened, he went in but did not look to her. "You do not need to leave based on what I say. I am no longer a King, a Pharaoh." He sighed though didn't break that he wanted to see the look on her face. "I am sorry for being so reckless. I still feel that sense of protective urge when it comes to Yugi and my friends. It is how it had always been. I do not wish for such a tragic fate to happen to them when I am as close as I am to them now. Yet you were right and yet I just gave my word to Adam."

Kuriboh followed them, looking happy to go with them. Serena sighed and said "I just want to keep you safe Yami...I have to do what can to protect everyone but you are important to do that..." she looked at him and said "I don't want anything to happen to you..." she suddenly felt a strong feeling to move over to Yami and hug him. She stopped herself, her face going red ass he felt the feeling more and more. What had gotten into her?

Yami took Serena's words in, feeling a warmth in his heart that he did not expect, his Crimson eyes brightened as well a smile upon his lips while his back straightened, this feeling felt familiar yet different on a level he did not understand, one he hoped to sometime. He looked to Kuriboh before giving a few pats on the fuzzball's head while they waited for the elevator to go down to their designated floor. "Thank you. To protect and help our friends is to Protect and help each other. We get through this and look for our answers." Yami lifted his hand that was close to Serena and closed his hand but the pinky, wanting to mae a promise. "Promise?"

She blinked then smiled and took his pinkie in hers and nodded. "I promise..." she stopped, a feeling came over her that made her have to lean against something. She felt strange like a memory that was right on the surface. The doors opened but she didn't move, her gaze off

Yami's smile brightened when she took his pinkie in hers and sealed the promise, though his smile fell when he noticed her figure changed and looked as if she may faint. "Serena?" he noticed the stop but was fo used on Serena that he helped her by having placed both hand on her shoulders to help keep her upright though used himself as support for her. "Serena, what happen?" he askex concern laced in his voice.

Serena blinked and said "I'm alright...just a little De ju ve I think....let's go" she moved towards the doors, shaking her head trying to clear it. When they got outside a van pulled up and the doors opened to show the gang inside. TiVo called out "Yami! Serena! Are you guys okay?"

The former pharaoh nodded before letting her go though had wondered what that had meant. He went over toward the dos and got outside, Yami had not expected to see his friends in a van and here of all places. He though was relieved that they wre not harmed. "Yugi!" He called to his partner as they made it to the van, allowing Serena and Kuriboh in first and then getting in himself. He looked to all who were inside and was surprised. "I thought you would have been where that dark cloud was by now" He spoke honestly. "It is good to see you alright none the less. We are alright." He told them as he coaxed Kuriboh to rest on his lap so no one forced a large fuzzball creature upon them, especially Seto.

Serena sat down and leaned back, rubbing her eyes as Adam looked back and said "I tracked your buds and came here first to find you guys. We are heading over now. We have no idea what we are going into"

Yami nodded curtly to Adam and was relieved that they did so. Seto though seemed slightly unsettled by the fact that the two and the fuzzball in Yami's lap of which he still dispised to the end of his days were at the Industrial Illusions building. He looked to Yami who he'd know would answer. "Here's what makes no sense. Why were you at the Industrial Illusions building in the first place?" Seto asked. Yami looked to the CEO of Kaiba Corp, remembering the dustrust he still has for Pegasus. "I was lead there, without much more than a gut feeling that Pegasus would know what might be happening or give us some insight on anything that might help." Yami informed him. Joey looked confused by this and wondered what Pegasus had to say, knowing he would know anything on anything. "And? What he say?" Joey asked, feeling impatient. The former pharaoh shook his head. "Not much it seemed, only as much as we do. Advising Serena and I to get our memories back before we face Apep in anyway, even when closing a gate such as this." Seto gave a slight grunt at this and looking disappointed. "Should have known."

Serena said "it's not what he said that we needed there...it was the reminder of who we are that he started. We have to take our roles if we are to stop Apep" she rubbed her eyes, her head starting to pound. She felt something was wrong. That what they were doing was a bad idea. She couldn't shake it.

Yami nodded, seeming to understand now though was unsure just odd it was that he needed to be reminded when his own memories of which he had thus far kept reminding hin everyday. Seto ignored that for he needed no reminded he he was and is today. Marik looked rather unsure but then he hadnt met the man. Yami look to Yugi and the others before looking to Serena with a hint of concern. "I doubt anyone needs any remindin' as to who anyone is. Its what you've been through throughout lifetand the people within it that makes you who you are, right?" Joey asked as he looked to Yugi and Yami. The older look alike nodded and smile. "Thats right." Seto scuffed silently and smirked as if agreeing but not admitting.

Serena didn't answer but knew what it really meant. She was to protect Yami no matter what he went by now. He was still her king and she wasn't going to let anything a happen to him or his friends. She looked out the window, the bad feeling in her chest getting worse. They shouldn't be here. Yami should not be here.

Yami noticed Serena seemed unsettled as Joey and the others looked out the window. She was quiet and there was something that just seemed off about her. "Serena? Something the matter?" he asked, of which Seto put his gaze to the woman.

She looked up and said "I have a very bad feeling...it's like my soul is yelling for me to stop this...but I don't know why...I can't shake it off...it's like a part of me knows what's going to happen"

Yami knew what he said before about wanting to help by helping the people tht were being attacked by Duel Monsters and closing the gate but this Yami didnt if her gut feeling of a warning was a coincidence or the fact that he was doubting if they really should go out there knowing this. Yami honestly was feeling something too about this whole thing but he didnt know how to place it. He looked to his friends before looking out the window. He could see they were close but now he wondered just how bad it was out there. "See if we can get to a safe distance to look at what is going on. See just how dangerous this is." Marik looked a little confused as did Joey and Tristen. "What's going on man? Thought we were going to go shut this thing down? Not watch it." Tristen asked Yami who seemed weary and Seto looked at the former pharaoh suspiciously. "Think about this Tristen. We may see it as we do now but when we get there it may already be way to risky for us to go and shut that gate down. I honestly do not know how we will shut this gate down." Yami said of which surprised both Joey and Tristen. Seto's eyes narrowed a bit at Yami but seemed to be thinking. Yami looked to Yugi.

Yugi looked at Yami then nodded. "If you want to look at the problem before running into it I can understand that" he looked at Serena who nodded and said "I just want to make sure we know what we are getting into"

Yami smiled to his partner and looked out and then looked to Raph. "Lets stop here." He told him of which he got surprised looks from. When the stopped, the older look alike opened the door and got out as he activated his duel disk and pulled out a card. He placed it on the disk. "Dark Magician!" He summoned. Once the great magician was summoned, Yami was greeted wit a bow. "I want o see an overview of the Docks." He told Mahad who gave a nod. "As you wish." He bent over and picked up Yami ith one arm as if the young man was weightless and sitting on the magician's arm. Mahad looked to the others before leviating and then taking to the air. Seto huffed before summoning his Blue eyes and Joey summoning his Red eyes when he got out. "Red eyes can carry a few! Who's comin'?" Wheeler asked.
