Yugi nodded and said “I get nightmares of you facing that shadow snake…after the battle was done and it came after you…”

Mokuba blinked and said “but his so shy…might be hard for him…”

The club was up ahead and Duke said “there it is guys”

[Jazz]

Yami's eyes softened, hearing about Yugi's nightmare. "I'm sorry Yugi, i had no idea." Wrapping an arm around his shoulder bringing him close. He wished there was more he could do to help him. Hopefully today will be different.

Seto shrugged. "Never know. Someone might get him out of his shell." He looks up seeing the club ahead. Joey and Tristen cheer and try to get ahead and Seto shakes his head.

Yugi said “I’ll be okay. Now I know someone else is in your corner to protect you…Serena makes me feel a lot safer you know?”

Duke was almost ran over by the guys and Ishizu laughed softly and took her brothers arm. “This is nice…”

Mokuba laughed and took a few more steps to see the building. His eyes wide as he said “Seto this place looks so cool!”

Yami smiled and nodded, happy to know what he felt about Serena. "I know. And I'm glad she has you feel that way." He looks to the building that they were about to go into. "Interesting."

Marik smiles as his sister grabs his arm, his smile turned into a grin. "I can't wait!"

Seto smiles toward his brother with how excited he is. "Seems so."

Inside the club wasn’t what they had expected. It wasn’t a lovey dovey place. It felt more like a neon playground. Duke said “they change the theme every month. Must be night life of the city. The pairs sign up on the smart boards there and then the pairs are matched up by the computer”

There were wows and whoas from the group who were surprised by the place and the information provided. Though Joey's demeanor changed as he looked to Kaiba. Seto looked to Wheeler and sighed. "Let's get this over with." Kaiba says before going over to the board with him and getting themselves signed up.

Yami had let go of Yugi as he stood next to Serena. "Shall we?" He asks her.

Marik goes with With his sister to sign up. Tristen looks to Yugi. "You not going to duel Yugi?" He asks him.

Yugi smiled softly and said “guess not this time. It’s okay. I’ll watch” he didn’t want to ruin the fun for anyone.

Ishizu walked with Marik as Serena took Yamis hand and pulled him up to the smart boards.

Yami let Serena take lead though he wasn't complaining in the slightest about it. "Excited I see." He chuckles, seeing a side of Serena he was finding out about.

Tristen made a face mixed with disapproval and confusion. "Come on Yugi! Maybe see if there is someone who needs a partner. Everyone's here to have fun, and if anyone is a sidelining cheerer, it's me." Tristen admits as he tries to coax Yugi onward. "Maybe there's a list or something of people who are looking for partners or something."

Serena nodded and said “I love to duel, without the life or death part. I mean, there’s a reason I’m the queen of games in Europe. And now I finally get to duel with you. It’s a dream come true”

Yugi sighed and said “but Tristen…I’m not that kind of forward person…I mean…” he sighed again and looked around. “Maybe I’ll walk up and see…but it’s really okay if I don’t duel…” he walked up to the board to check things out.

Though a blush could be seen on Yamis face, he laughed fondly, happy to see her this happy. Though he was surprised that she was the Queen of Games in Europe. "You're the Queen of Games in Eruope?" He asks.

Tristen smiles and nods. Watching Yugi from a distance. While Yugi searches the board that has those who are looking for partners, there was a soft tap of his shoulder as a teen around his age peeked around him to grab his attention. "Excuse me." She had light blue eyes, orange long hair that reached to the end of her back, a blue tank top, black jeans with brown boots, a duel disk on her left arm. "You new here? Sorry, just haven't seen you around before." She explains with a smile.

Serena nodded and said “that was that poster in my room. Adam bought it at the last tournament I was part of…”

Yugi felt the tap and turned and blushed when she spoke to him. She was really cute. “Umm yes I’m here with my friends. But I’m the odd man out”

Yami's eyes widened. "It was? That's amazing." He complements.

She tilts her head before having an idea. "If you want to, this board has those who are looking for partners. I got an idea. Wanna team up?" She asks suddenly with excitement in her voice.

Serena blushed and said “really? I feel a little silly about it sometimes”

Yugi looked at her and said “really? That would be great. I’m Yugi Muto” he held his hand out to her and smiled.

"Nothing to feel silly about, Serena. I'm sure some look up to you because of that poster." He assures her.

"Cora Fugimoto! Nice to meet you!" She takes his hand to shake. "Let's go register that we're a team now!" Let go of his hand and was almost bouncing on the ball of her feet in excitement as she goes to the team register board. "This is awesome! What kind of deck do you have? I'm sure we can figure out how to coordinate each other!" She then realizes something and seems apologetic. "Sorry, I should have said what kind of deck I have. It's based on spell counters."

Serena sighed and said “I hope so…alright, all done. Now we wait for our names to come up”

Yugi smiled and walked with her and said “magic based monsters for me, dark monsters mainly”

Yami nods before looking around. He taps Serena's shoulder and points to Yugi and a young woman he is with. "Serena. Seems Yugi made a new friend." He mentions.

Cora's eyes light up in delight when he spoke about his deck. "That is amazing! My deck should be able to compliment yours nicely! Mine are mainly dark types." She pumped an arm, excited about the outcome. "So you said your friends are here? How many of them are joining the competition?" She asks.

Serena turned and smiled. “And she’s cute. Good going Yugi. Should we leave them be or today hello?”

Yugi turned and started pointing them out. “There’s Joey, his with Seto mostly thanks to a chanllage given by Setos younger brother. Then there’s my older brother Yami with his girlfriend Serena, and there is Marik and Ishizu Istar. They are siblings. And there’s Duke and Mokuba. They aren’t dueling just watching with Odion whose with the siblings”

Yami thinking about it before shaking his head. "Let him get to know how new friend. But I wouldn't opposed to meeting her if they come to us." He answers before looking around. "Do we want to find a place to sit and wait?" He asks. Though looked around a little more and saw what looked to be a food court. "Or there's a food court right there. Want to get something to drink?" He asks.

Cora was following along where Yugi was pointing to all of his friends and brother. She was surprised by how alike Yugi and his brother looked, almost mistaking them for twins. But then it clicked that Yugi mentioned Seto. "Wait. You know Seto Kaiba? Holy crap that's awesome! Though are you and your brother Twins? It's almost hard to tell you two apart unless you look REALLY close." She mentions, though figured it was a possibility they weren't.

Serena smiled and said “a drink sounds great. We can get a sitting area for all of us to watch the others duel”

Yugi smiled and said “no not twins, just really close. Ya his a friend though I’m not sure he would use that term. The blonde guy next to him is Joey Wheeler from Battle City” he wasn’t sure if she would know him from the tournaments.

"Good idea." Yami heads to the concessions to get themselves something to drink.

The ginger looks to where Yugi pointed toward Joey which brought back what she remembered. "Joey Wheeler? Oh I remember! I watched his duel against the supposed psychic boy. Oohhhh what was his name....." Cora was trying to remember.
