Personality Nova is a determined soul, the type of girl that once she has her mind set on something, she will stop at nothing to achieve it. This determination, however, goes hand in hand with her stubborness and an inability to accept that she cannot do something. Nova believes that respect needs to be earned, and will refuse to give it unless she views they deserve it. She can be a bit on the wild side, making compulsive decisions without consulting her higher-ups first and loves the adrenaline rush that accompanies dangerous situations.

In her free time, Nova has been known to do a wide variety of activities. From gaming to sparring, Nova loves competition and will not be interrupted by anything she deems unimportant. This being said, Nova is quick to take physical action in order to get her points across.

• Sonic Staff: The Sonic Staff is an offensive weapon used by agents that releases a wave of sonic energy designed to quickly incapacitate an attacking force.   The wave emitted is indiscriminate in its targets, blasting back anyone in its path including the wielder. Can be avoided by dropping low to the ground just before activation.

Bio: Nova grew up in a small family of four with her parents and her older brother, Caden. Being the younger child, Nova had to fight to get her way out of Caden's shadow, doing so through sports and physical achivements to set her apart from her family. When Nova was only 13, both her parents were killed in an 'accident' which was cleaned up by the NAIL agency. Both children were taken in where she trained to be a top notch field agent.

Personality Caden is the more tame of the two siblings. He takes his time to thinks things through, analyzing everything he can before making any sorts of decisions. Like his sister, Caden won't let something rest until he knows what he needs to know, however he's much more reserved about the way he goes about things. Caden is also very protective over his little sister, only becoming violent if he feels that she is threatened.
When push comes to shove, Caden knows how to fight well, however he prefers not to. He respects rank over anything else, usually following orders to the letter.

• Drones: Small, flying drones programmed by Caden for various purposes. They are his eyes and ears in the field while he remains at safe locations. Built to analyze data, most are used to scan and collect data from the field.
  
  A couple are equipped to release a sonic wave similar to that of the Sonic Staff, however it is much weaker. Only strong enough to temporarily disorient an enemy so that the drones can retreat to safety.
  
  Caden has named each of them after anime characters.

Bio: Caden is the elder of the siblings, responsible for his younger, more rambunctious sister. His crowning achievements were academics, high grades and published papers before graduating highschool. Not a fan of competition, Caden tended to avoid contests so most of his awards are known only to the family. His skills were noted by NAIL after their involvement in covering up his parents' deaths. Wanting to train him, Caden refused unless his sister could accompany him, in which both siblings were trained in separate fields as NAIL agents.

Personality:
Matthew psyche is rather cold, brooding and contemplative. He excels at masking his emotions, to the point where it'd be rather hard for people to completely read him. His methods of gathering information is rather scrupulous, and extreme, much to the criticism of the G.C.P.D. Many also call him methods extreme, not really flinching at killing people who he deems necessary, especially villains. Underneath, specially to the people who hes close with, he can be warm, soft spoken and kind.

Equipment:
His equipment is contains mostly different types of bows and an arsenal of different arrows for multi-purposes. His preffered bow is a recurve bow. For close range combat he has made specially made batons that can be joined to make a pseudo bowstaff, the batons also have different frequencies of electricity. He has a special suit, (as seen in the picture) that is made of special fibre that is designed to withstand blows. A kevlar is laced within the suit to resist bullets. His helmet is fitted with many types of sensors and the like.

Bio:
Born under the lush, posh billionaire Mercer family, his childhood had mostly been a spoiled and free, slowly growing arrogant day by day. His freestyle life would have gone on unperturbed, had it not been for the incident. One cloudy day, blocking the sustained light from penetrating. An unnamed villain had massacred the Mercer family while Matthew was out partying and drinking with his 'friends'. Coming back to plentiful bodies splattered and skewered about, Matthew had almost gone insane, had it not been for his visiting uncle, that might have been the case. Matthew blamed himself that night, he made himself believe that it was all his fault somehow.

His Uncle was busy travelling around the globe, to learn and master different arts, especially the art of the bow. The young scion of the Mercer family was full of rage, regret and anger. His Uncle, Jerome Mercer, wanted to channel this and so chose to teach him what he himself has learned the past years. The training was rough and unloving, Matthew would have given up had it not for his anger. After years, he has grown stronger, not as strong as his uncle Jerome, but close and with the recent crisis that is happening in Golden Coast, Matthew had figured out that it is time for him to 'suit' up.

Personality: Generally quiet and is always serious especially since his hometown is being ruined by villains. However he is kind to officers and the general population.

Occupation: G.C.P.D. Detective(Head of the Major Crime Department)

Equipment: Standard police gear such as flashlight,glock pistol,taser,and bullet-proof vest.

Bio: Max has lived in Golden Falls his whole life and has always wanted to be a officer of the law since a young age. He easily got that job as an officer due to the massive crime wave in the 1980s where shootouts with police and thugs were a daily occurrence. Max during this time was able to bust major drug dealers and corrupt cops helping ending the crime spree of the 1980s and being promoted to head of the Major Crime Department. In the 1990s the first heroes started making themselves known throughout the city but it started out rocky with many heroes ending up dead on the streets from the violent gangs.

Eventually, more powerful heroes started coming reducing the deaths and the overall cases Max had to investigate. But it has all changed now with villains once again griping the city in fear and even at this old age Max still feels the need to help in anyway possible.

Personality

Generally affable and bright-spirited, Alexis is one able to slip herself into most environments. While she is friendly both on the surface and underneath she also has the emotional detachment to use people. Unfortunately this only comes into play when she knows from the outset that they will be a tool or pawn; she cannot simply cut off attachment once any has been made and this can lead to her becoming emotionally compromised. So far it has only led to strife after the fact but it may well lead to a situation where she abandons her duty when the attachment proves too much.

NAIL Agent.

Equipment
Standard fare, no 'gizmos or gadgets'. By trade she is a long range combatant and prefers the use of either a sniper rifle or a semi-automatic assault rifle, always with a scope where possible. She will only have these weapons when she knows she is entering a fight; day to day she carries a SIG-Sauer P226 9mm (a telling detail of her SAS background) and a combat knife. The latter can be found strapped to her ankle and is her weapon of absolute last resort.

Bio:
Alexis was born to British parents, both serving in armed forces. Her father was in Royal Air Force (RAF) serving in logistics while her mother was a field doctor with the 'troopers' as she called them. Both saw active field service several times and the young Alexis was raised almost exclusively by her grandparents, her grandfather having seen service in the Royal Navy during WW2.

It seemed, with this pedigree, inevitable that she would eventually enrol in the military. With her success in academics and other activities consistent she was soon approached by the more highly skilled divisions. By the time she reached the age of 23 she had gone through the Royal Marines, serving as a linguistics officer for the Ministry of Defence's (MoD) Chief of Staff (French and Spanish her known languages), onto the SAS as an active field agent.

She was largely posted in the UK for domestic defence but served abroad in France, alongside their special forces, and in Iraq for a brief period to ensure that outposts being handed over to the country's own military weren't overrun by enemy forces. She had no fondness for her job and disliked the fight in Iraq, having difficult connecting her mission there and the benefit it brought to her country's people in the way that was pitched by politicians. Nevertheless she carried out her duties impeccably and on returning to the UK she retired, moving to the US where her elder brother had been deployed years ago and had eventually settled.

When trouble began to brew in Golden Coast Alexis was approached with an invitation to join N.A.I.L. Seeing her chance to employ her skills in a way meant to aid others, with apparently little political meddling, she took up the chance and handed in her notice to the bank she had been employed in for the past two years.

Although a little rusty she has stayed in peak physical condition, a matter of habit rather than deliberate choice by that point in her life, and is ready to serve.

Col. Leatherman is generally a calm and easy going, but due to recent events and copious amounts of stress he has become very “military” with his behaviors. Everything is either direct and to the point or he sees it as unimportant.

Bio:
Travis and his brother grew-up in family that had been involved in the military since Vietnam, and they were no exception. After making it through school with a slightly above average grade Travis went into the military after a year of down time which spent jumping from job to job, and girl to girl. It was mainly because of his inability to find a place where he was comfortable that he went into the army. He was restless and continued feeling this way for some time.

After boot-camp, and a few simple service outfits, Travis was sent overseas to fight with allied forces against some rising terror groups claiming to be working with Cell Six. For some time it had just seemed like a bluff they were pulling to instill fear into the local areas, but became quickly realized as truth when they were aided by mercenaries that could not have been bought lightly. This battle was very long and hard war in which many lives were lost, but out of it came a very special and secrete branch of the military.

During this war, that took the better part of 3 years, the military was aided by the League to become victorious in many battles, and this made some of the higher-ups in the military want to create heroes of their own. Looking over lists of people who had the closest interactions with the League they began selecting people to form the N.A.I.L. Travis and a few others in his regiment were among those selected for this group.

It wasn’t until 7 years after the war against Cell Six that the N.A.I.L. was actually ready to be started, and they began pulling people to be a part of it. During this 7 years those that were overseeing N.A.I.L. were also seeing that the selected were able to grow and excel in the areas that that they would profit from. This meant that Travis was eventually put into a Special Ops group accelerating his eligibility for promotions. When the time was right Travis was offered a position to lead one of the many N.A.I.L. Spec ops teams that were responsible for overlooking Justice League points of interest, and making sure that what messes they make get cleaned up before potentially dangerous materials fall into the wrong hands.

A few more years passed with Travis leading his team into some really, REALLY messed up situations to make sure that people were saved or moved; materials were secured or retrieved and so on and so forth. Until, that is, Travis was presented the opportunity to become a Colonel and Director of Operations for the Military Science Division. Taking this Travis has now been Director and Head for 5 years, and has overseen the expansion of N.A.I.L. to incorporate its Science Division.

Bio: Cole was raised by an ex-MI6 agent. He and his father traveled the world and worked as Hitmen. From the time he could walk he has been learning his fathers trade. From combat styles, to weaponry, to killing techniques, etc. When he turned sixteen he made his first kill, after that he became a natural at in the Hitman business. Cole's father died when he turned eighteen, they were on a job in Russia. He didn't know what to do with himself so he took two years off and decided to find his mother. He found her in Golden Cost, where she lived comfortably with two grown children and a husband. When he approached her she knew exactly who he was and accepted him. After trying many different lines of work he decided to apply to the CIA. They made him a field agent and allowed him to work out of California. When bombing happened his mother was killed and he has not been the same since. He left the CIA and joined N.A.I.L to help with the villain problem.

Bio: Jay grew up in the streets of Golden Coast. He went to a good high school and was raised by his mother. He grew up on the stories of the different heroes and it inspired him to do what he could to give back to the community. When he turned 18 he joined the Marines and served a 5 year term. He was apart of a tactical recon unit and was discharged with high honors and medals. During the last month of before he was discharged the bombings happened and he rushed home. He joined the GCPD when he arrived home and became a detective 6 moths later.
