@Khoyeah, it's off and on, so she wears them for just in case. She'll gain control over it eventually.

Righto, you may post your Character Sheet in the thread and feel free to begin posting ;)
You shall begin as a Level 1 Demigod with 4 Might
If you have not already, make sure you read ALL of the Opening Post (including the bits on god mechanics as they are relevant for demigods too)

Undasis, Arguis, Vowzra and Astarte still have hella Might. I personally have nothing more to add this turn (other than leveling up...need to do that soon), but not sure about the other three. Are you planning something this turn or is it ok to move on?

Either way, we'll be moving on to the next turn at 06.00 am GMT+1
That's in about 9 hours and a half by my calculations.

Post is almost done.

Anyone object to my claiming that Mermen now rule the world. a mentioning that some Cimex have attempted to swim, @LokiLeo789?
If you don't object, Imma go ahead and say it.

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm gonna do that and my Hero on the next post, because I realize I'm running very low on time.

This holy site is great enough that not everyone has to visit it. It is a holy place for only the most sacred of worshipers, not a whore of a place where anyone may come but gain nothing.

Thanks! I was originally going to do something very different, but when I saw that I didn't have time I knew I would have to figure out a way to link the creation of the site with the saving of the sailors. Good thing I just saw "Clash of Titans" a few days ago (that movie where the Kraken is turned to stone )

Pah, those who gain nothing don't come with the right mindset. There is none who visits Orabil except they leave with enlightenment and wisdom they could never otherwise posses. Those who leave having gained nothing are indeed the lowest of the low and the most accursed of creation. Even Toby the Ant left with great wisdom.

Hmmmm, turn the Kraken into stone...

Indeed, but the might of Undasis is such that Toby could not even bare to ENTER the cove, were he not a most blessed of Undasis! (don't worry, he is).

Orabil is clearly lacking in power, than anyone can approach! One without the right heart would turn to stone as they approached the Cove, and join the Terrorfish in his plight!

But those who are blessed will be forever changed by the experiance, and shall see the glory of both Kraken and Woman before their eyes!

Orabil may grant wisdom, but Cove grants TRUE grace and glory to it's chosen beholders!

Pah, Orabil does not discriminate between people. If they are worthy then they are blessed, if they are not then it does not punish them for being weak and unworthy. Only a cruel god would punish creatures for omitting to be something without knowing they should be...

Fate is not all powerful or all knowing, I assume.

But, yet, Vowzra will do anything that Fate asked of him without stopping to question it, despite knowing that Fate is probably not perfect. That is idiocy in the extreme.

You go on the assumption that Fate is not all powerful or all-knowing. You then proceed to blabber a few things based on that assumption. That assumption is, in the first place, completely wrong. If Fate did not know all things, then Fate wouldn't exist, for not only does it know all things, it dictates all that is and all that shall be. Bow before Fate, weakling >:D

Then why has fate not created perfect beings, as the gods are not perfect? You're answer will mostly likely be along the lines of "because it does not want to" or "because it was not fated to be so", but both of these answers truly explain nothing. Indeed, Fate offers no evidence whatsoever that he is perfect, except that he implanted a belief in his creations that he was.

Undasis is not perfect, yet he could convince a creation that he is, if he made it a genetic psychological trait. Vowzra is no different than the ants or fish that the gods make.

We have no reason to believe that Fate is perfect. He has done nothing to warrant that belief. Vowzra, it would seem, is simply brainwashed.

EDIT: I win. Now I will begin working on a longer, more heroic post.

What is perfection? If something is in every way more powerful than you, has the ability to crush you at a whim and raised you from nothingness, and then tells you that it is perfect, who are you to tell it otherwise? Especially if you have no proof whatsoever of its imperfection and everything points the other way? You are simply in denial. Even if Fate was not perfect in the way you imagine perfection, it is not you who defines what perfection is, but perfect beings themselves.
Stop your misguided arguing and accept that Fate is almighty over you. You should surrender yourself to it and serve honourably rather than reject it and perish most ignobly.
