I actually like the storyline leading up to Eternal Messiah, but the epilogue itself was sort of disappointing.

You stare at the screen, wondering if you should tell your minions about Endmaster's epic games. You have always enjoyed them and wish to share this joy with your mindless slaves. It would certainly be nice to see their reactions to them, no?

Share your knowledge with your minions

You decide to share Endmaster's games with your minions, and the thread leaps to life with their reactions to the games. After a while, you start to notice that they have taken more than just a liking to the games however. You certainly don't mind, it's brilliant that they've discovered such gems.
The first signs that something was wrong began when one of your players disappeared completely. One by one they went missing, even those who had hated the games. Even those who had never played the game were gone like they had never been.

You had unwittingly called Eternal damnation upon them, and they were never seen in the great hallways of the internet ever again. Their ghosts, however, are said to haunt the dark alleys of chooseyourstory.com, waiting upon the fated day that the game would be updated.

I would have appreciated a heads up that this massive battle was happening.

Aztoc just kinda did nothing. Despite the battle raging right outside his door. His entire prayer was so that he wouldn't cower behind his walls and wait. The fact that Arguis was probably gonna help him and Vestec certainly was, were all just kind of swept aside in one massive collab.

Any plans Lokileo and I may of had just kind of got screwed over. Aztoc isn't going to accept help now that the battle's over, and I'll have to come up with a reason why he didn't do what he said he would and try to make Garakai's memory more than just 'And then the Lord of Garakai huddled behind his walls.' On the flip side, Vestec saves his three might for next turn.

Well, I did tell you that it wasn't going to be near as bad as you think.

Ialu is still coming, and he still has his allies. And this wasn't outside his door, by the way; it was somewhere in the middle of the woods halfway to Garakai.

Granted. But the fact remains, Aztoc did promise to kneel to Thulemiz, and he wouldn't have just waited for the battle to be decided. If it's 'see what happens and hope' or 'Interfere and hopefully kill Ialu and his allies' Aztoc is going to interfere. As far as he knows, Thulemiz is better to kneel to and easier to manipulate, whereas Ialu's just going to kill him.

Not to mention, I think Arguis would have made whatever devil's deal with Aztoc he was going to before this happened. Not sure, that's for @LokiLeo789 to say. Vestec certainly would have (THE COLLAB, WE NEED TO FINISH IT @FRETTZO).

Regardless, I'll adapt. Just something to keep in mind.

Well how would he even know about the ambush in time to interfere or adjust his actions? Ialu certainly didn't know; and Thulemiz seemed to make up the idea on the spot. Assuming that Aztoc even has scouts and his information isn't coming solely from deserters like Bjorn, I'd say he might not even find out that Ialu's lost his army of 3000 dragons.

It would be hilarious if he sold his soul to Astarte in exchange for her help with destroying a horde of dragons that no longer exists.
