It was with awe and terror that humanity beheld the first of the great flying reptiles as they descended from the heavens. They came in all shapes and sizes and were of various dispositions, and humans soon learned to avoid them all, from the fire-breathing ones to the long, snake like ones who seemed to go about their business without bringing about wanton death and destruction. The Cimex and the Dyun were not so awed or terrified by the great reptiles however. The Dyun found them to be another thing to hate, though they were not so foolish as to attack them directly. It was not uncommon, however, for swathes of Dyun to ambush a dragon which had descended to land. Their luck against the mighty beings was nonexistent. The Cimex, being the territorial creatures they were, did not take kindly to dragons in their skies and in their forests, and they attacked the great reptiles wherever they fount them. Their luck was just as terrible as that of the Dyun's. With their ability to evolve, however, who knew how long it would be before they overcame both the Dyun and their first dragon.

The angry dragon is just an extra strong dragon with more star power, not an Avatar or Hero with Sauranath's power.

People just keeps on doing more things to the humans. I'm going to have to move at warp speed to get caught up IC!

But in all seriousness, about how far am I behind timewise? As of my last post, humans still don't even speak yet. I'm of course going to do a time skip or two to where Ialu turns his group into a warband, founds a village, and then starts doing shenanigans with the Wi, but I'm not sure exactly how much time should pass before these events happen.

@Cyclone I'm not sure myself, but I would say anything from one year to ten, and I'd lean more towards something in-between. Maybe 3 or 4 years. But since no one has actually specified in-game, nothing is canonised.

Let them attack. Within a few months, the Cimex will be able to fight the Dragons. Why fight them with so much power when they can simply evolve into a form the allows them to deal with the dragons. It could end up back firing, the Cimex could always just get rid of their ears.

I have to ask, is there any limit to what the Cimex can evolve to? Or can they get used to literally anything?

I guess the strategy to fight them would be to keep changing tactics, so that by the time they adapt you've already changed

That tactic would be perfect, but you could siege them, never stop attacking, and they can't rest to evolve. Alright, now tell me a weakness of ya race, or another. JK, I'm serious.

If the Dragons cannot all have Humanoid forms without Might Acts used on them, I'm asking for some of them to have a Human/Cimex/etcetera form. Maybe a small number.
