We don't actually accept Hero characters. Those are made and controlled by whoever controls the god-character. The only exception was Cyclone, and he put an interesting case forward. If you would like to join, you will have to wait until a demigod is created in-game, and then you can submit a demigod character sheet. Until then, we are full I'm afraid. But please, do stick around in OOC and talk with us, tell us about the potential demigod you would like to make and maybe link us to any past roleplays you've been in so we can so your writing style.

With Venku gone, isn't a space open?

It's not so much a matter of space as it is of incorporating a character into the storyline. God characters straight from the start are fine, but new ones cannot be added directly as that defeats the whole creation story (I may work out a new mechanism for new god-characters other than rising from demigodhood as the RP develops)
The only real limiter on space at the moment is the fact that our gods have been rather celibate xD

Yeah, I'm for allowing him to make a god if he wants. Otherwise the wait will be too long, and not to mention that we actually don't have that many gods. It'd also be nice to have a god closer to Ialu's power level once he ascends, rather than having him be totally outclassed by literally everyone else.

To be clear am I expected to make a creation sheet on the Strong Tribe? What about clubs and spears?

Please do, that would help immensely. At least for the Strong Tribe.

So yeah. If you want new God spaces, you need to have Gods get..uh intimate.

If you want new Demigod spaces, just have a god take a liking to a human. :D

Actually, now that I think about it, what are opinions on god-god relations? I've said that they'd produce higher-tier demigods, but do you think such a union should produce a god? Opinions?

No, Vestec would have too much fun if he could just spawn new gods so easily. :P

Vestec's too busy causing the mortals chaos to worry about if he should trick the other gods into creating more gods. :p

It would only make sense right? If GodxGod happens, a God should be the result. If a GodxHuman happens, a demiGod should be the result. :p

Well for all intents and purposes a demigod functions as a god, just a weaker one. They have might, portfolios, etc...

Actually, it's hard to even decide if I like the idea of god + god = demigod without knowing more about how demigods will work

Logically, it'd make sense. Hmm...

Well, Hephaestus and Ares was born from Zeus and Hera, if my mythology is correct. Poseidon and Demeter also got Arion the horse for a child.

The only time I've seen God + God = Demigod is the stupid Disney movie Hercules, because fuck Disney.

Well the thing is that demigods turn to gods after a while. Was Hephaestus the great forge and fire god from the moment that he was born?

No, but Vestec wasn't the great and terrible god of Chaos, Vowzra the callous kind and arrogant benevolent God of time, or Escre the God of life. But they all had the inherent power and potential to do so.

Demigods have less potential than Gods and, while powerful and long lived, aren't immortal unless their parents grant it too them.

Heroes are less so than Demigods, and are powerful but normally lived, unless their chosen god grants immortality to them.

As I said, we've been given almost no information on how demigods work different from gods for the purposes of this RP. All we know is that they CAN become full gods, which would negate some of the things that you said like the lack of immortality. But by and large we really do need the demigod section to be expanded upon before we decide something like this.

Demigods are indeed very powerful beings, and all are naturally immortal whether lower of higher-tier. I'll be putting up a section on them soon, worry not.

Now, leave these mechanics to me and see to the story xP

Edit: What kinds of demigods do we want to be seeing? Which gods are most likely to be getting it on? (coughvestecxastartecough) and what kinds of domains (portfolios) can we expect to come out of different unions?

I've said that Ialu's first portfolio would be avarice, a combination of greed, ambition, and LUST. I expect that if anybody leaves a trail of demigods, it'd be him...
