Appearance:
Name: Apollo Hauler
Species: Human
Species description: Bipedal Hominids which evolved on the planet Earth. Their Terran Alliance controls most of their home sector.
Subspecies/Race: Ankaran
Subspecies/Race description: When humans first found the world of Ankara, they were surprised that a planet with such a high gravity, 2.3 times Earth's gravity, had rare mineral near the surface. They believed it was because the planet's surface was still relatively young and thin, a the crust a mere 500 meters thick at its thickest point. No normal human would be able to function there for long, as the gravity was much too high for them to work long in it, so they placed gravity nullifiers on the surface to lessen the gravity in certain areas to create livable areas.
They soon found that those born on the planet had remarkably low IQs, with the average IQ being only 70. They tested many possible local sources, but could not find the cause. Because these native-born Ankarans were also very compliant, though, they didn't bother trying to fix it, only improve this new worker race.
Their first attempt at improvement gave the Ankarans a myostatin deficiency and stronger and thicker bones. These became known as Gen 2 Ankarans. They had more muscle mass and stronger bones, so the increased gravity had less effect on them.
When they found that the Ankarans were subject to internal organ damage, they improved the healing and regenerative abilities of the Ankarans, as well as strengthened the ligaments and tendons. These became known as Gen 3 Ankaran.
When they found that their slaves grew tired too quickly, they tampered with their DNA to give them improved digestive systems and duplicate mitochondria in their cells. This led to greatly increased endurance, and fewer nutritional problems. These became known as Gen 4 Ankarans.
Content in the knowledge that their slaves would remain stupid and compliant, though they didn't know why, they decided to correct the few remaining nutricional problems experienced by those that rarely entered the gravity nullifier areas by making their blood carry more neutrients. They became known as Gen 5 Ankarans.
They soon discovered their mistake though, as the inability for the fetus's brain to get sufficient nutrients was what made them dumb and compliant. Those born of Gen 5 Ankarans were as smart as, if not smarter than, their slavers, and had the other Ankaran improvements as well. They soon led a rebellion and captured the slave ships, being taught to fly them by former slavers and non-Ankarans that sided with them. The Ankaran soon began to build their own ships and set out to free slaves wherever they found them.
Skills: Piloting, Engineering, Computers, Melee combat, Stealth
Position: Captain
Personality: Clever but Stubborn, he likes to find weaknesses in his enemies, then exploit them. He is patient, waiting until the proper opportunity to strike. While he generally doesn't care what you do, he can't stand seeing others being hurt, and will fight to help the victim even when it puts him in a worse position.
Bio: As a Gen 5 Ankaran named for an ancient deity and the fact that his Gen 4 Father was a manual laborer, he grew up learning about the slavers who held their people prisoner for so long. He looked around him and saw those of other generations, knowing that, while their descendants would be Gen 5 thanks to the Gen 5 retrovirus, they would never know how they suffered due to the greed of some other people.
When he was 16 he joined the crew of an Ankaran frigate, knowing that they fought against the evil Terran Alliance more than most. He was trained as a Squadron commander, and was soon leading troops into battle when they boarded enemy ships. Due to his favored tactics of entering with personal cloaking devices and attacking key areas before the enemy could mount a proper defense, his squadron was known as Ghost Squadron.
On one of his missions, however, things went wrong and he knew he had to think fast. He entered the cargo area of his own vessel and put on the clothes of a worker. When the enemy boarded the ship, he acted as one of the lower generation workers, and was taken prisoner instead of being executed. They then transferred him to the Lunar penal colony, and used him for manual labor, at least until another augmented human attacked him and knocked him out. He awoke to find himself in the cargo bay of a freighter, being sold as a slave.

Name: Janet Worell
Species: Android
Species description: A robot designed to appear like a sentient being and behave as one.
Subspecies/Race: G17 model
Subspecies/Race description: Marstech designed their G series personal entertainment robots in response to a customer survey which asked "In what way are humans superior to androids for personal entertainment." As such, she has skin originally produced for realistic prosthetic, can sweat, bleed, has saliva, and produces simulations of other bodily fluids at appropriate times. She has human-like skeletal, muscular, organ, and body heat systems, with the muscles also being based on prosthetic limb tech, and can even consume human food and drink, converting them to energy for her power cells. She has programs to mimic human behavior in numerous public and private situations.
She was also given an illegal awareness upgrade, when causes her to think more like a human, even giving her an understanding of the concepts of individuality and freedom, though it is uncertain that she is truly sentient under UN guidelines for artificial sentient lifeforms.
Skills: Hacking, acting, stealth, cooking, cleaning, Mixology, massage, "personal service" skills
Position: Engineer, Infiltrator
Personality: Unknown. She is programmed to always obey her master's commands, spoken or implied, so she has never acted independently, and it is unknown if she can act independently.
Should her programing be altered to allow independent action, she would likely have difficulty adjusting to human norms, and may be subject to rapid mood swings, as demonstrated in similar trials with other androids and non-android AIs.
Bio: She was a custom build, serial number G-17-1274, modeled after three dimensional scans sent to Marstech by a Mr. Kyle Worell, Captain of the freighter Jamaica. As the scans were of his ex wife, the android appears physically identical to her, though the personality is much more subservient.
After taking possession of his new droid, Captain Worell had a hacker under his employ install an illegal Awareness upgrade, as well as upload all of the digital data he had on his ex wife. After the droid adjusted her behavioral subroutines to utilize the new hardware and data, he began using her as his personal slave, utilizing her in any manner he saw fit, including anger relief via physical assault, verbal and psychological assault, and sexual assault. It should be noted, however, that she was exclusive to him, and that he technically broke no laws as the AI was not known to fit UN guidelines for sentience.
Equipment: Various personal objects, including clothing, makeup, household items, toiletries, and tools of her primary function.
