It started as a basic day;
Mech was working on pimping the jeep again
Rain was not in the base but roaming in the forest above it, staying close to the entrance as he knew he may be summoned soon.
Inari was in the surveillance room as always.
Runa and Drake could be found in the living room watching TV.
Runa was in control most of the time when they were sitting together, but the last few day's Drake took control when the news came on.
Rumors of people disappearing around the town, some were found but dead with some weird things on their body's like growing rocks out of their spines and such weird mutations.
It was not weird for people to start blaming mutants for these events, so Drake found it was time for CoM to check up on all these events before it went out of hand and possibly causing a thread for them as well.
Nothing much in the first few reports, most about some trivial stuff like coming elections for the city's major, but one of the last reports was the one Drake was waiting for.
<3 more people have disappeared again, for once the location of the disappearance however is known, Jean Moria is on the scene>
<I am here on Sectstreet where after 3 girls were on their way home, one of them just disappeared>
the on-the-field reporter turned, followed by the camera to 2 girls that were crying.
<these are the 2 friends of the missing girl, can you tell us what happened>
<We were like walking to the bus station, Jena was like walking behind us, and I know she was like was behind us when we walked past the alley>
Then the other girl spoke.
<first, first we thought she was still behind us, but when I called out her name there was no response, so we looked behind us>
The first girl then continued again.
<the.. snick... her bags were like still on the ground, as if she dropped them while getting pulled away or something, I dont know>
The camera turned back to the reporter in a way that the scene was without the girls behind her.
<there you have it, the ally is a long path with multiple endings, but at least we know what to watch for, stay away from alley's>
Then the next report on something completely else, followed by Drake turning the TV off
"grab your gear" was all he said to Runa while standing up and Walking to a small control panel on the wall he pressed a button "everyone, get ready we are moving out"
15 minutes later everyone was in the hanger ready.
Drake was the one who walked in as last and looked at everyone.
"We finally got a clue, Inari your sight will not be required for this mission, care to guard the base" It was more a command then a question.
Inari just nodded and left the hangar, returning to the surveillance room.
"Mech, care to take us to Sectstreet" the way Drake said it was the same as with Inari, it was not a question.
As everyone stepped into the Jeep, Mech was the one that took the driver seat as he always does, this was because the car cant drive without a mutant able to control machines one way or an other.
The Jeep lacked a steering wheel, or for that matter a normal dashboard, instead it had a small computer like monitor and a hexagram shaped port.
Mech placed his arm against the port as it transformed in a manner similar to how transformers transformed in the real live movies, plugging himself into the port, instantly the Jeep roared to live and Runa ended up grabbing the safety belts.
"Ready, lets jump" Mech said as the Jeep suddenly leaped forward towards a wall, only to suddenly drive trough it.
Mech had perfected holographic technology for the hangar and had already opened the mechanical door when Drake commanded the to get ready though the intercom.
Not much later did they arrive, most people were avoiding the streets after what happened, the shops had to close because what happened, not that they would get much costumers now anyway.
Drake got out first, his wings folded like a leather cloak around his body, as the rest followed his lead.
Rain however jumped up on the roofs to check the area.
As Drake walked in the alley he started sniffing the air, bending down by a sewerage lid "smell ends here, it smells reptilian, the lid has been opened recently"
Drake walked back to the rest "seems my guess was right about Inari not being needed, ready to..." his gaze looked behind Mech to an other small alley next to a shop "who is there?"

“ A few gutter rats and Me” a female called back hopping that Drake would have some sence of humor.
“Janet Evans.” She added just to be on the safe side.
She walked towards the voice. She saw three figures.
Holding her hands up showing that she meant no harm.
“And how are you three?” she ended asking.
Drake did not really react to her joke, trough his eyes did show a hint of green, but it disappeared quickly, turning back to his usual yellow.
Mech however started laughing like an imbecile, ending when a black figure dropped down behind him from the roof and hit him in the head.
"she's alone, no one else is in the area" the new figure said, Rain kept his black skin like matter on as he did not trust the girl, he never did trust anyone right of the bat.
"hai, fine, thank you, and how are you?" Aqua said, even trough it sounded like she greeted the new arrival with the Hai, it was actually a simple Japanese word for Yes.
Drake walked past the rest of the group as he headed to the new arrival "your a Mutant" he commented, he could smell a strange oder coming from her, it strangeness reminded him of a metamorph he had met before.
"A metamorph?" He guessed based on the smell, he thought that a Metamorph power would likely effect the smell they gave off, though he figured he could be wrong.
"what is your purpose here" he seemed as emotionless and calm as ever.
Before she could answer he looked behind her "Symbio, you said she was alone correct?"
"Yeah, why?" The black man replied.
"Seems we have a sudden guess then" Drake responded.
Janet herself looked confused by the entire situation and looked behind herself as well.
"You, come out here as well" Drake spoke up.
