Naw, see, I think it is common for Dragons to hoard poon. Think about it, what are they doing with all those damsels they keep stealing? That certainly can't be catch and release, and if it was about the eaten' then they'd be taking babies instead of babes.

Maybe Dragons are more emotional and romantic. And their romantic advances are seen as threats. I mean it must be exceedingly difficult to set a diner table and light candles without roasting your date. They're just misunderstood creatures.
