I was actually going to make one, but felt too many people had magic in some form as a base/power source. So when I saw Finn and decided to go with a different thing that I'm currently working on.
Didn't say all are. Just the magic types are majority, even if spellcasting itself isn't.
I'm not sure I'd agree. Qiao and Bud are definitely magical, and V3 has some magic equipment for some reason, but the others are all mutants, lab accidents and super soldiers.
For example, Nicotine's vapor-based abilities are a second generation mutation inherited from her mother 'Tufão'.1 No magic involved at all with her powers.
1 - That's the Portuguese word for 'Typhoon', not the town in Italy or the bean-based vegetarian foodstuff tofu, just in case anyone was confused.

Qiao, Bud, finn are magic, Sike is magic, V3 while not magic has weapons that fall under magic, that is 5 magic connection to powers. With someone else having cleared a supernatural by me, so that is a 6th magic related.
For metahumans we have Nicotine, and V3, and copy cat so that's 3
for tech we have Hardline and Meltdown
for super soldiers we have v3 and Vera.
If i forgot anyone sorry. But my point is that 5-6 people have magic connections, and while there is nothing wrong with that, it's why I decided to make something else to not fill it with that.

Yahtzee also posted a demon possessed character.
For the record, no one is complaining about any of the characters or anything like that.
It's always good to have a mixture of characters and backgrounds in order to keep things interesting in the roleplay. If everyone was the last surviving alien from the Planet <Insert Destroyed World Name Here> then we'd soon run out of potential plots to uncover.
Lucky so far there seems to have been enough diversity, even within the same specialisations, to keep things interesting for a while. Although a few more Tech characters may be nice to have, to balance things out a bit.
Any rogue androids from the future on the loose we could chorale into our little gang? A sentient battle tank perhaps, or a shapeshifting alien spaceship AI?
Full Name: Antonio Cato Codename: Fang Gender: male Age: 28 Ethnicity: white American/latino mix Nationality: American
Height: 6'0 Weight: 185 lbs Appearance:
Personality: He can be described by many as being feral, very aggressive and not open to any communication outside of growls during many reports about his arrest as well as his time in prison. He can talk just fine but prefers to speak very little to those who don't need to be spoken to. If he does form bonds he is slightly more talkative but more so just becomes more protective.
Classification: Metahuman
Powers/Abilities:
He has retractable claws at the end of his finger, these claws can easily rend flesh and can carve through most forms of stone like paper. They can be broken if hit certain ways or if he slashes too hard on durable object, but they will grow back over the next few days.
His teeth have stronger and larger fangs than a normal human, as well as sharper teeth in general. With super strong jaws he can use his mouth as a weapon as he can easily bite through bones.
He can lift roughly 15 tons comfortably making him more than strong enough to handle most foes up close, the strength also allowing him to cut into things normally too durable through sheer force, though often at the cost of breaking his own claws.
While he heals much better than humans, it isn't anything notably rapid a slow to kill fatal wound will eventually stabilize itself and he will be fine even with no medical attention. What is notable is that his body will delay the effects of several and even lethal wounds, allowing him to temporarily go unhindered from extreme blood lose or damaged organs. Normally as a means to escape and be stabilized, or in theory to take a foe down with him.
Sprinting most comfortably on all fours he can run at mach 4 if allowed some time to build up speed. He is able to leap large distances and up rather large buildings. Even at full speed he has an incredibly sense of equilibrium, allowing him to keep balance on narrow ledges and hang off of things with no trouble.
While he has more or less normal eyesight for a healthy human, his sense of smell and hearing are very superhuman. He can pick up on several layers of a person's scent with incredible detail and accuracy, able to sniff out specific scents from over a mile away. In regards to his sense of hearing he can hear the tiniest movements of the clothing people wear from across several rooms, as well as here in frequencies that humans can't.
Weaknesses: His enhanced hearing makes sound based attacks very damaging, especially at certain frequencies.
His unwillingness to communicate makes non-obvious teamwork difficult.
He takes time to move at full speed, he can only suddenly move at a little under half speed.
Weapons: None
Gear: None
Skills: A natural acrobat he very flexible and dexterous, allowing him to flip around and dodge things with ease when combined with his speed and jumping ability.
Master tracker: Even without relying on his sense of smell he is great at tracking people down and picking up their trails, in preparation he constantly observes everything he can of someone people he is around.
Brief History: Officially considered a domestic terrorist by the U.S. government, not too much is known to the public about his past. He became in the spotlight after joining a group dedicated to bringing the court American government to justice, often times resorting to violence to do so. While mostly responsible for assault and property damage, that changed when a prominent congressman was accused of knowingly allowing and supporting a program that caused the deaths of thousands of American citizens. When the case was dismissed the group was outraged and attacked the congressman on the way out of the courthouse. During the ensuring battle, Antonio killed dozens of law enforcement as well as killing the official himself being violently taken down. When it was discovered Antonio was still alive he was taken to one of the newly built metahuman prisons, where he would await trial. After being forced in permanent isolation after several murders within the prison of people he got into fights with. When time came for his sentencing he was quickly sentenced to death, and would still be sitting on death row if he wasn't given an offer by Prometheus. Help direct his anger towards the real enemies of the people and give the people fighting the good fight a shot at even have a world to fight for.
Other: While he was unofficially pardoned for his crimes, he isn't allowed to set foot on American soil outside for Prometheus missions.
He doesn't like Prometheus but he thinks making sure the planet isn't either destroyed or them wiped out, a good enough reason to put up with their rules.
I see Meltdown as the Reed Richards/Hank McCoy talkative scientist type more than strong and silent, but I do get worried when peopl choose to play such characters in roleplays as they often have difficulty in actually interacting with others when their character never speaks to anyone.
