Right, our collab is done, link to it is a page back. It's been edited a bit to fit with the assault party, so if neither Lugubrious nor Crimson Raven spot any outstanding conflicts, I'll post it in about an hour or so.

Also Fates will be awesome. Nohr all the way.

Shieeeeet that's a long post. What do I do about Kel? He's waiting on Hugh's signal still, but Hugh's fighting a dragon ATM and that sounds like a good queue to leap into battle...

A dragon would shred a wyvern. Though in all fairness you've got a greater chance of damaging him then Hugh and Jakobe.

I did say that Kel could patrol any areas away from archers and take down enemies on their own. Perhaps a bandit is escaping off into some woods, and Kel spots him and swoops down to fight.

Kel is too mad to strategy and is willing to take that risk. If Druug lets him that is.

Perfect, I'll do that in a few more posts!

If Xan ever gets around to starting the collab with me then Kel could target the lancers that escape the burning building and the guard outside.

Mmm, using the class system from Awakening I see. Despite that it's a absurdly easy Fire Emblem game It is the most flexible as far as Fire Emblem goes.

Since this bugs me in every RP I want/try to join, it's never clear what kind of last-names are typical for each region. Can I assume that, for the most part, the typical last names are Anglo-Saxon descendant or Japanese/East Asian?

Last names never really mattered in the first place. They can be whatever you want as such, though so far ones generally angelo-saxon have been used.

He's talking about the navigable world map and easily abuseable DLC that gives you EXP outside of chapters for nothing. As it stands, Lunatic+ can't be considered hard when levels can be literally unbeatable based on bad luck alone.

I can't quite handle Insanity difficulty but if anyone ever chooses an option other then classic they are a disgrace to the Fire Emblem series. We want to have to restart missions five times to make sure everyone lives.

My 'easy' point of view mostly comes from the fact you can grind a character into immortality, just it takes more time on higher difficulties, which makes it a lot easier than any previous Fire Emblem game, as in them you can't do side missions or anything of the like, you're railroaded through the story full speed ahead and if you fall behind you're screwed. A lot of Awakening's difficulty really comes from enemies appearing out of nowhere on some maps, then moving immediately after appearing and possibly killing one of your people (This was mentioned in an episode of Extra Credits). And the whole choice between Classic/Whatevertheothermodeis is to just make it more appealing to regular players.

Besides that, no, I haven't played it on Insanity mode, but I did do Hard/Classic on my friend's copy of awakening without losing anyone. I destroyed the final boss due to my expert use of grinding on other people's people, at least on the easy ones until I was unstoppable, then the hard ones. (Had to restart several times, and I did not use any characters I didn't get from the story). I've also beaten Radiant Dawn on Hard without losing anyone as well, though I had to restart a hell of a lot, though I didn't get every single character due to that BS scene where you have to have beaten the game once with that save slot to choose not to murder a person.

That as well, but all of Fire Emblem has had a bit of a luck thing to it that can screw you over. But at least in the more recent additions they give you some idea as to when you're more likely to get bad luck.

Where you wanting to create a character and join us or are you just popping in the chat. Either's cool I'm just curious.

Hugh, Jakobe, and Nick V Taene - How to Slay Your Dragon

Also Lug, I realize that Marcus isn't actually fighting but he's on the battlefield. Come on man, I'm feeling excluded here.

I'm working on a character. I just can't come up with a good name.

The exact opposite of my normal problem.

Edit: I don't actually remember if there are any knives/daggers in Awakening. I feel like there isn't.
