Lol weaponizing dimension warping wouldn't be hard, but super fun to be done. You don't see it often because so many people have hangups. My initial thought was for a weapon that scatters the dimensional coordinates of what it touches

Dimensional warping on an atomic level could let you transform one chemical compound into another, but that's rather hardcore. Perhaps forced nuclear fission or fusion could be created too.

Man, we have got to continue this talk in pm's a bit later, or maybe even fight with these characters sometimes. I'd love to go straight up no hold barred meta concepts. But unfortunately I've gotta vamoose for a bit. I'll post as soon as I have my comp back which should be a few hours or tomorrow morning.

DJ you have seen characters like this before. Souloe, Lord Saladin, Malevolence and Arrogance's characters were very much on the same scale. And as for you're weaponising of dimension warping. That would be an interesting character to see.

So the powers are basically a time stop on an object and anything that hits it with force, a sort of prolonged close distance teleport on an object, a boost in cutting power, and i dont understand the rust thing?

Not really timestop, but it would appear that way to another character. You're right about the cutting part. Not sure where you got teleporting from the sheet, though. And Rust is a weapon that transcends regular rust which only effects metal. it is an actualized concept that effects pretty much all things, and like it says wholly prevents movement, and sucks the life out of whatever it touches, and its spread speed can be exacerbated through several means.

The teleport is the part were it goes into another dimension, unable to be seen, and comes back out at casters will, possibly at a different location than originally. That how i read it.

So the rust is an immobilizing, life draining move that can easily transfer to other surfaces/objects?

Rust is actually just the process of oxidation, and that isn't unique to metal alone. The same exact thing happens when any other material burns or comes in contact with acid, so there's that.

I do not mean to offend, but I really cannot keep up with those two characters. I enjoy complexity, but me having to read those two characters with so much backstory and high level element words, its just real hard to understand. And im afraid the explanations dont really make sense to me, as they dont seem to state function, more so how it occured.
I feel dumb where I previously havent.

And i dont know how i feel about gunsmoke, being able to just erode peoples weapons, or even organs, instantly killing them.

There are literal dozens of abilities that do precisely those things. Acid is more than capable of eroding flesh and organs. The dreaded mystical 'mists', fogs, and rain are more than capable of the exact same thing. Again, the sci-fi paint we slap on our characters seems to be the primary issue you guys have with our sheets. Also, if all you see is 'backstory' and not function, then, and I also don't mean to offend, it might mean you just aren't looking at what's actually being written. Both sheets, multiple times outright state what the characters can do, but are substantiated by lore. My slip-stream blaster, blacklist, charlemegne, and hand of vulcan all clearly state their functions, even with the backstory provided. Riotbreaker from Gundrives sheets clearly states every form it has, and the abilities that come with those forms. I mean, this stuff really isn't too hard to understand. My theory is you are being intimidated by the words and not the content. I am not forcing you to fight us. If you are that opposed to it the fight would fall apart before it started anyway, but I AM asking that you at least look at what is being written instead of seeing the word 'metaconceptual' and actual lore backing and coming to the conclusion that we don't say anything but 'how they came to be'.

And instead of feeling dumb, why not just ask questions and grow your repertoir? We don't write this stuff for the sake of belittling others, but because this is our preferred style of writing. Then again, Lovecraft wasn't for everyone either.

Im sorry. I have, several times, read what your sheets say and they just have too much there for me to take in all at once. I was quite excited for this match, but it seems i will not be able to participate due to my inability to take in this much information at one time. Even if i did understand this, i highly doubt my character could take but one hit from yours. Im afraid someone else will have to take my place. Sorry to dissapoint. :(

Lol no need to be sorry. By this point I am semi-used to this kind of thing. The sheer amount of information presented on our sheets is usually enough to make people sick. I could, instead post perhaps one of my more simple characters? Or hell, make one up on the spot for the engagement that is better suited to your preferred meta? Or do you have someone you'd reccommend?

I couldnt make you change your character, the post has already been made! That would be outrageous of me. If that is your preferred character go ahead, I just cannot participate if that is the case. Two of those sheets is too much. One, maybe, but it'd probably be best if yall wanted to find someone else.
