No problem. I didn't know you didn't reply since rpg was messing up lol. The thing about the fire was I thought about witch burnings. They could step into a bonfire type thing and the colors reveal their house. But Salem was hangings and drownings wasn't it. As for transportation, let's not rule out a fleet of Knight Bus types. Except since they have further to go, maybe a little nicer. But for now it's time to sleep. I'll try and make my CS edits tomorrow.

I'm okay with either. I don't know if everyone from the old one are coming. Basically, anyone can join as long as they have the skills to keep up. I'm probably gonna wait one more day for more to join before I start, but I'll probably keep it open still.

EDIT: Actually, I might start the IC sometime today, maybe. It depends how impatient I get, since I've been antsy to write.

The Sifting Candle
First years get a match and light the candle and whatever house you are in, the flame will take on the two colors of that house.



The Culling Quilt
First years wrap the quilt around their shoulders and takes on their house's colors.

And then for transportation:



The Horse
The Horse is a honda sedan that travels to the outside of the capital of every state in order to pick up students. It takes seven days in all and it has the ability to go underwater in order to go to Hawaii. How it works is that the driver gives the student a room number and they enter the back where there are stairs going downwards. Going down the stairs, the student will end up in a stairwell of an apartment building. They are on the top floor of the apartment building and they must go to their room. There is an area to hang out on the bottom floor. There are seven floors and each floor holds ten rooms. It is up to the student to get to the designated bus stop in the capital.

Yeah, I wanted to keep that Hogwarts-Express-Meet-Your-Enemies-And-Friends sorta thing.

Also, some additional information that you can choose to put in your CS's if you feel like it: boggart, best class/worst class (core classes), sexual orientation, hobbies, patronus, amortentia (what it smells like for your character), quotes, theme song, wand (I don't remember if I put this in the original or not), ambition/dream, and anything else you want to add. Again, this is optional! You can put it anywhere in the CS (:

I like the idea of the horse. It just seems like Muggles would definitely notice a huge group of teenagers lining up and disappearing into the backseat of a car. Maybe not the capital itself but some stop outside the capital?
