Biography:
Azriel grew up in a old plantation house in New Orleans. He lived with his mother and father. Both averagely gifted in magic, his mother was know more for he beauty than her magic. She was in house Good and was an average student. His father was in Tituba, he played Quidditch and was a major athlete. For a long as he can remember they have lived in the south and have never come from any were else. After graduating from a muggle university, both parents went on to creating a wealthy empire. His mother became a entrepreneur, buying and selling different businesses and investing in the stock market. His father became a Nero-Surgeon and Pediatric Doctor. He opened his own practice, not only for wizards and withes but for magical creatures and muggles all alike. After establishing themselves they had Azriel and gave him a well off life.
Despite his well off upbringing Azriel was mostly lonely as child. He did not interact with his father because of his crazy hours, but the times they did share together would be in the study, Azriel would be reading some complicated book about life and philosophy, and his father would be reading the "The Weekly Witching" or "Magic Daily". They spoke in a silent way, through slight movements and the turning of the pages. On the other hand, his mother was completely different, she spent ever free moment of her time grooming Azriel to take over their family fortune and make something of himself in the muggle world. She had high hopes for him since the day he was born, she even went as far to give him the names of three of her favorite angels. Azriel's mother and father were both muggle born and had to adapt to the muggle world which is why the both advocate for integration into the muggle world after he is done with school.
After his first year at Salem Witches’ Institute, Azriel was sorted into house Warren, a surprise to only his mother. She became upset and blames him getting sorted into the house on his "flaws" and his fathers poor guidance. But Azriel was happy, with his sorting and did not mind not getting into Good. His third year is when he earned his name "Ice Box". He joined the dueling club for the first time and while in a duel against a class mate, his entire exterior posture changed. He came off as emotionally detached during the duel , he showed no mercy and quickly ended it. After the duel was over he seemed back to normal with his expressionless face but since that day most know him as the "Ice Box". He chose his classes in his third year so that he can some how give back to the community as a whole like his father does. He wants to go to a muggle college after graduation and then make a career some where in the Republic.
So Joshua gave me the suggestion to join this and it seems interesting so far. Let me read through all the character sheets and finish up the last few pages of the OOC and I'll start working on figuring out a character to play.

Azriel also has a love for books, but not just literary composers that set the standard of life. But also for the nonfiction. He likes nonfiction itself, whether it be Fantasy, Scfi, a Slice of Life, or any thing else that can be thought of. This can be seen in his room at hone, the walls at plastered with different posters from his favorite comics, animes, TV shows and book.
Overall, Azriel is A decent person. He is hard working and committed to his studies and whatever task he is given. But when the time calls for it, he can be fun and laid back. He has a slight insicurity, due to his mothers expectations. It is not large enough to affect his overall performance as a person only when she is evolved.

I might have another character coming up but I'm debating on if I want to play him or not.|Phoebe Charleston|
Name:Phoebe Charleston
Gender:Female
Age:16
Year:6
Blood:Half-Blood
House:Good
Pet:None
Electives:Alchemy
Apparition
Care of Magical Creatures
Clubs:Choir
Dueling Club
Personality:“Oh cute, you want to learn a bit about me. Why don’t you grow a pair and ask me instead of being a wuss and asking someone about me?”
It isn’t very hard to notice that Phoebe is quite strong-willed after the first time someone meets her. She isn’t one that is easily intimidated and is quick to speak her mind both in a conversation or a confrontation. Even as a young child Phoebe was seen as a strong-minded child in which her family often says took after her Aunt Liz in that aspect. However because of that, Phoebe usually knows what she wants to do and won't hesitate to go after it, whether it is a good grade, a new friend or a new love interest.
A tad self centered and vain, Phoebe can be a little too focused on her physical appearance a tad more than she should be. Not only that, she isn't one that likes to be alone and will purposely strike up a conversation with others for the sake of having company. Although she can come off as a bit harsh and with a bit of a temper, she does have a caring streak for others and is more than willing to lend a hand, as long as she doesn't think of you as annoying.

Dislikes:(At least three)Spiders and other creepy crawly creatures

Loosing Aunt Liz
Biography:"Why are you being so nosy? I was an only child with just my mom raising me. Aunt Liz was pretty cool too. Seriously, what else do you want to know about me? Why don't you fuck off and leave me alone."
Although born in a family with a muggle born witch and the paternal side of her family from a pure bloodline, it wasn't until Phoebe was ten years old before she was first exposed to the world of magic. The use of magic was banned in the Charleston household and even though Phoebe's family objected to the idea, respected her mother's wishes after the death of Phoebe's father at the age of two knowing that it reminded her of her deceased husband. Even though the memories of her father is nonexistent and her mother wasn't one that freely shared information about him, she learned bits and pieces about him from when her father's parents or sister came to visit but it wasn't until Christmas dinner when Phoebe was ten when she was first "accidentally" exposed to magic and a new side of her family.
From watching over her while her mother worked long hours or cheering her on at soccer games, Aunt Liz was a central part of Phoebe's life growing up and was one she often looked up to. It was often circulated through the family that the two of them shared a similar strong personality and it was proven correct yet again when Liz and Phoebe’s mother got into a heated argument over telling Phoebe about magic since she passed her tenth birthday and had a year left before she would go to Salem.
“I don’t care about if you want to continue to shut magic out of your life because it reminds you of my brother, that is fucking up to you but the girl has the right to know.”
From all the years she could remember of her aunt and mother, never did she hear the two argue as much as they did that night and in hindsight the bits and pieces she heard should have pointed her towards the idea of trying to figure out what was going on but she got her answer a week later when she and Liz went out to take a walk in the snow when she got the first real glimpse of magic. That was when her hunger for magic started. Her mother was upset for a few days but didn’t stop the girl from going with her aunt and exploring a whole new side to life and learning more of who her family actually was.
At Salem, Phoebe did a pretty good job at school throughout the years. She wasn’t a star student with perfect grades but was far from being at the bottom of the class. She had quite a few casual friends and acquaintances and worked hard on knowing as many people as she could by name but there was only a select few in which she would call a good friend.
So, halfway through writing my post, and my computer decides that the best way to convince me to take an update was to fake a blue screen and then abruptly shut itself down.
Will have a post up shortly though, after its rewritten. Just wanted to whine about it some, pf.
I have no idea if I'm overdoing the wacky cheer of Ziya.
So, how is everyone?
