"Sure, whatever you say Mr. Bossypants." Blake said as she continued floating. She let her concentration break and sank slightly into the water before popping up and glaring at nothing in particular. "Dammit." She muttered as she went back to floating. For some reason she just wanted to float, probably cause she was drunk and was not thinking normally."

Raleigh waded out in the water with Blake. "Come onto the shore, love." he said in a soft voice. "I can't imagine watching that current take you."

After a while of just surfing all alone, Pete noticed something. There was a bonfire going on the beach. Pete never was one to just leave a party and he had no problem with crashing a party. So he grabbed his board and wandered over towards. For some reason the first person he saw was lady laying on the sand. So Pete flopped down onto the sand next to her. He didn't really care that he still did not have his shirt.

"So, beautiful, what's your name? I'm Pete. Just Pete." He said smiling his trademarked huge smile at her.

Lorelei finally got cold and sat upon the shore, hoping her dress was dry. She finally had sobered up a bit and sat there, watching her friend, hoping her head ache would go away soon.

she heard someone sit next beside her and turned to see who it was. The blonde weakly smiled. "Hi. I'm Lorelei." She said quietly brushing her salty hair back. "Its nice to meet you, Pete."

Pete looked over at the girl. She seemed to be sober but Pete wouldn't know. he never drank. He looked over at her. "Nice to meet you, Lorelei. So what's the reason for this little party?" He asked her leaning back.

"Um, she to have fun. All of us got our necklaces and jocks like to party. Its just nice to meet people." She nodded, giving him a gentle smile. "Why are you surfing at night? Isn't that dangerous?"

Pete nodded to his own necklace and looked over at her. "I got green myself. Also we jocks are not all dumb party people. I'm not a dumb jock." He joked looking over at her. "I like to live dangerous." He teased. "So what color did you get?" He asked looking over at her.

Blake began to sober up over time and when a cold wave splashed over her face it knocked some sense into her. "Well it's cold. I'm good with this. And Ral did you just call me love?" Blake said smirking as she got out of the water and picked up her sandy wet tank top. She looked around for Lorelei and noticed her talking to some guy. A much nicer looking guy than Decker. She secretly hoped they had matching necklaces cause they looked cute together.

"I dont hang around with dumb jocks." She laughed, toying with her necklace. "I got green...like an emerald." Lorelei whispered, brushing her salty hair back.

Raleigh smiled. "Yep, but check out Blondie over there. At least she's not with Mr. Officer."

[Kitty]

"Yeah... Don't even get me started on 'Mr. Officer'." Blake said scowling at the name, she then pushed the thoughts away and smiled. "I have this gut feeling telling me they have matching necklaces." Blake said as she went to the ocean and got all of the sand off of her shirt before putting it back on over her bikini top. "My head is throbbing... I completely regret my earlier decisions." Blake said as she walked over to Raleigh and stood by him while rubbing her temples.

Pete smiled at her. "Then it would appear we have the same one. I still don't really know what that means but I imagine that it is a good thing?" He said smiling. "So uhh where around here are you from? I live around here." He said noticing Raleigh looking at him. Not creepy at all.

"I would think so." She said with a nod." Yes, I live over to the north." that's all she was going to say. It was the nicest part of town, but she wouldn't say that.

"I bet so too." he said, starting to walk over to the car. "Lets go home. You need to sleep it off."

[Avanhelsing]

"Really? Well that's interesting. You must be pretty rich." he said not explaining that his family was more lower middle class. "So uhh want to go for a walk down the beach? I don't like sitting for too long." He explained.

[Kitty]

"yeah yeah. I know." Blake said following after Raleigh, sending a text to Lorelei. We are having coffee tomorrow. I want all the details of your encounter with surfer boy. Blake then formed an idea and her mind and ran forward jumping onto Raleigh's back. "Onward handsome steed." She said in an ol' timey accent before laughing slightly.

Adelisa and Adam watched as everyone walked away and Adelisa sighed. "Well, isn't this a Happy Birthday to me? My friends got drunk and partied on my birthday and found their soulmates." Adam wrapped an arm around Adelisa's shoulder and smiled. "We've got eachother." Adelisa shook her head. "No, we don't. You found yours in Lola. I saw the way you looked at her. You knew." She sat down in the sand and sighed. "Maybe I don't have a soulmate. Maybe the red means I'm not meant to find anyone. Like a warning."

Raleigh turned back at the twins and motioned them over. "Hey, you can come with us. You can't be alone on your birthday."

Lorelei bit her lip and chuckled. "Maybe a bit." She carefully stood up, brushed down her dress and smiled. "I'd love that."

Decker smiled. "Nice to meet you too." Suddenly his eyes caught sight of her pendant. "what the?" He quietly muttered, gazing at her pendant. "Is that white? Oh my lord! Oh my lord!" His eyes widened, and he reached for his pocket. "Hey, er, I know this is kind of weird but, well, you see, it's just. Your pendant. It's white. You see," he pulled out his pendant and shyly smiled. "So's mine." He smiled. "You are a very, very lucky girl." He laughed.

Adelisa looked up at her friend's… soulmate? Yeah, that's what she'll call him. She looked up at her friend's soulmate and smiled softly. "You guys should have some alone time. It's fine. Adam and I are probably going to just jam a little on the beach. Perfect night for it anyway." She looked up at Adam and he smiled down at her. They really were the best of friends.

Pete smiled at her and nodded. He hopped up. He nodded to her and started walking down the beach. "So what do you do for fun?" He asked clearly curious.

Lorelei swung her arms and sighed. "Hm.. I hang out with my friends, take pictures, go find records, sit on the dock and fish. I just keep to myself usually." She looked over him and smiled. "What about you?"

Raleigh shrugged. "Suit yourself. Lets go Blake." He took her hand and lead him to his car.
