@LugubriousIndeed, I also wish we had more people. I've always thought that I did a much better job with the initial phases of planning and writing a good introduction togather attention than I did with the actual GMing of this. To my credit we did have an amazing amount of interest at first, but most of it seems to have just evaporated. I'm not quite sure where I went wrong; maybe they just realized that this wasn't what they expected, or the slowdown in pace drove some away.
But anyways, I think I now have the workings of another mission of sorts in my mind. I'll try to incorporate some of those artworks and monsters into it where they feel natiral; that was a hood find on Deviantart.
I'm thinking that after getting the resources from the humans we've conquered, the treasure from these dwarves, and what the Horde is about to acquire from their next foray, I'll look into one final mission where we infiltrate the humans' capital and try to assassinate their Divine Emperor.
I had planned for a lot of stuff to happen (hence the big map) but I think the best course of action is to see this to a fulfilling and not terribly abrupt end, and then use what I've learned to make a sequel that hopefully turns out better than this did in terms of engaging a good sized crowd of people.
