Nah, that doesn't explain how she showed up in the horde itself. Any ideas? Lorelai's a rather upfront person. I'd imagine she'd ask to join the second she heard of them, whether from rumors out among the dark or from bumping into a raiding/scouting party of the Horde.

@Lonewolf685, Perhaps you've been spending time tracking down the Horde, and you only just find them now (which is fairly good timing). You would then seek out whoever looks like they are in charge and request to join.

Well...I never said I wouldn't go through with provoking the Shaman. This is just more roundabout and innocent a way.

So Faeles is now looking into whether he can get Clotho to steal him something else while he goes and gets the staff himself.

The more magical stuff that he acquires, the more powerful he will be when he inevitably betrays the Master. But as he was keen to point out, gaining his favor might be useful later on.
