I like that Kat hides the softy inside that is desperately trying to pry itself out. You know being that type of person though, maybe she didnt hide well and thats why the overseer made her a tattoo artist. I have watched reality shows of tattoo artists and while they draw the tat they have conversations with the patient which is kind of therapeutic as well. As for Osaki, she wouldnt know for certain if Kat was a softy. She would just figure she is being optimistic.
