Appearance: The first thing you’d notice is her freakishly spiky, long, grey-blue hair. It reaches down almost to her knees and it always sticks up at odd angles. It’s like she doesn’t own a hairbrush (which she does). The second most intriguing thing is her fiery orange eyes. They’re bright and always curious, and very reflective. Then there’s the freckles, dusted everywhere along her body. She’s slim and fit, long legs and tanned skin, a few scars from run-ins with work tools, but otherwise untouched.

Bio: Rowan’s parents were not exactly award winners. In fact, she doesn’t remember most of her childhood because her brain has twisted everything. Her father was a prostitute to bring in extra money and her mother was a whore who taught her that sex is how you win love. As a consequence, her very best friend has been scarred as well.
At the age of 13, she chose her life companion; a calico-coloured equinoc she named Buttons.
Personality: Rowan is bubbly and bright all the time. She can be considered quite loud and obnoxious to some, but most find her endearing.
Attitude: She tries to look on the brightside, and ignores situations that don’t have one. She likes happy things, rainbows, stuff like that.

Age: 21 (5 ¼ in Shadow Kin years)
Appearance: Maddox is a really big guy. He has natural muscle from working on farms his whole life and he stands well above most of his colleagues. His skin is tanned with plenty of scarring. He’s calloused on his feet because he hates shoes so he never wears them. His ears are incredibly big and impossible to hide in his shaggy hair.

Bio: He was abandoned as a baby and has no idea who his real parents are. Rowan found him when they were tiny and they have been inseparable ever since.
