Das the Hero

“A truer Kafshe has never graced the battlefield. Even when staring into the burning horror of the otherworlds manifestation, I was proud to have him by my side. As a true Kafshe he bared his teeth and roared at the oncoming doom. Without a speck of fear or hesitation in him, he charged, and I was proud to charge right next to him.” - Emperor Heinrich

The grey skinned elf nodded silently as he listened to Vivian’s story, trying to focus on her words and soak in the situation. The whole scenario seemed rather casual and even intimate between the quest goers, so deciding the true danger of their path was fuzzy at best. Intimacy found in danger however was no secret and rather common in the eyes of Das. He himself noticing it many a times on his misadventures, so perhaps the tone of the adventures hinted at more danger than apparent, or perhaps they are just an extremely promiscuous bunch. Either way, Das listened and he listened carefully, or as carefully as he could force himself to do.

Das pondered her words for a moment before his vulpine smile reemerged on his grey cheeks, “sounds to me like your journey is far from over. What are you to do now?”

Vivian

Vivian felt a smile creep up on her face as she heard Das's next words.
"You have know idea,... as for what we are going to do now. See about making the guild answer to their lies and deceit. I don't know. I suppose there will be a plan in the morning. Fill free to join us if you want." She said. She did hope he would too. She could use a new face to stare into. His presence was much appreciated and she rather enjoyed talking to him. "I probably should sleep, like the others I have had much of it for the past three days." She said. She could fall asleep right her if she had to.

Garekk

Garekk still snored upon the great sands now cooled from the cold night's wind.

Ellis

Ellis felt a warmth come over him like none other as he seemed to enter a whole new world. On the outside Ceris and her spirit returned to the body that was almost forgotten to her in memory. The easy part was over. Ceris was now located in a body she could call her own. Now Corellan had to bind it to the shell or else like her many other hosts. The body will rot and decay over time. Ellis awoke once his part was over and he sat there and watched. He watched with anticipation. Waiting for the moment her eyes would open. Then his attention was redirected as he heard a twig snap. He turned to the sound and pulled forth his silver dagger. What he saw was a robbed woman with bat like wings that was yet to retract. He did not need to be a inquisitor to know what she was. A demon, and it had followed them here. The demon might escape and tell of Eliphas what has happened here.... No that was not going to happened. He threw on the cloak and turned invisible once more.

The confusion on the succubi's face was nearly priceless. Almost as priceless as her next face as the same halfing flew at her from behind. She spun around as he hit her taking her to the ground with a large thud. There was no hesitation in what he did next. He stabbed his dagger into her chest repeatedly. Over and over again until she stopped moving and her body burned in the holy fires she erupted in from the dagger. He rolled off of her and spat down at the demon. "Never underestimate a halfling...." He then returned to the scene of Corellan and Ceris. Once more he waited. Once more he could not wait to see her eyes open.

Das the Ready

It ain’t easy living like a gypsy, tell you honey how it’s been. I’ve been dreamin’, floatin’ down a stream n’ losing touch with all that’s real. - Mama kin

Das looked to his left; sand. He looked to his right; sand. He turned his attention back to Vivian. Whilst he may have already been on a journey, he wasn’t sure where it was going, perhaps this was the detour, perhaps he should take her up on her offer. It sounded dangerous, but then again, danger was something Das was used to, even content with.

He nodded his head, “count me in then…” He stopped to think about sleep and shook his head,” as for sleep I suppose I will just sit here until morning, I have had my fill for a while.”

He looked at the endless flats of sand and smiled wide, “after all there is so much scenery to take in to keep me busy, right?”

Hugh closed his eyes, feeling the simple warm sensation of her touch and her presence. He felt her return his word, saying "mine" softly to him, before giving him a light kiss. He returned it, feeling her soft lips on his. He felt so content and so warm inside with her face there with his own.

The moment was quickly upset by the sound of the flapping of wings and the rush of wind. Sana got up and rushed to where it had come from. Hugh stood in bewilderment, not sure what had happened. All he could tell was they were not under attack. The situation was not made clear until Sana called out for Ellis. He was not near his items or anywhere to be seen. "What? ELLIS?!" He shouted, not sure how to take losing one of their own. His concerns were quickly silenced when he saw Sana drop a note on the ground taken from Ellis's position. By the somber look on her face, he could tell something wasn't quite right. He was uncertain as to what the note said, but if Ellis had been in trouble, Sana might surely speak up.

Hugh sat down as Sana rejoined him, seeming a little bit troubled. She put him at ease by resting on him, and telling him what had happened to the halfling. He felt a little sullen at the halfling's sudden leave taking. He had always been fond of the halfling, but he had left him on a rather bad note. The things he said were hurtful, and perhaps could have been said better. Maybe if Hugh hadn't lost his anger, this might not have happened. His thoughts only ran with worry for the halfling.

Hugh was only put at ease by Sana's presence. She was putting her hands around him, his skin tingling to her touch. She finally brought herself up and kissed him, leaving him a little bit zoned out as he soaked in the kiss. It was more than enough to send his head spinning. He breathed in and out, feeling content at her touch. She lied down, touching his knee and working her way up to his midsection. Each touch of her's was being soaked in by him. His memory would always recall this moment. He took in every little detail, running it through his head again and again to get it down.

He lied down next to her, and wrapped his arms around her. He brought her into his chest, letting her head rest on it. He held her tightly and tenderly, feeling almost as if his world would end if he were to let go. He knew he would have to tell her of his family he once had. He didn't know how to go about it. For now, all he wanted was this moment, and nothing mattered. He let his mind at ease with the thought that he would tell her. He was certain he would. He needed to take his time with all of this. A relationship was a long journey, not a simple battle.

He felt so content with her there in his embrace, leaving her there, and holding her in like a deep breath. It was more than enough for Hugh to find healing within himself. In this moment, nothing else mattered.

Sana rested there on the fur as she watched Hugh, waiting for him to lay down. As he did, pulling her against him she went willingly; letting her head rest on his chest as her body curled against his. Her legs wrapping around his thigh as a hand draped over him. She sighed contently as she pulled herself closer to him, felling the warmth of his embrace and hearing the beating of his heart. For the first time in days she felt safe, letting the trials and tribulations of what had transpired pass into distant memory for now and just letting herself enjoy the moment; a moment she was sure they both desperately needed.

Tilting her head back she gazed up at him wistfully, just taking him in before leaning up slightly and kissing his neck ever so gently; whispering "goodnight" against his skin as she did. Slowly trailing her wishes of a pleasant sleep with each kiss down his neck before curling back down against his frame; a smile playing on her lips as she lay encircled in his embrace. Sanas small frame looking nearly dainty resting there against Hugh.

A gypsy and a paladin, it was not something one would see often. Sana didn't care, they were both former versions of what they had once been. A middle ground that was some how established long before they knew each other had created one of those rare moments when one could find another. On some subconscious level Sana would always be grateful for what ever events and fates had brought them together. He needed her healing, she needed his strength. The smile on lips remained as her eyes began to feel heavy; closing slowly as sleep finally claimed her, a single word rolling over her tongue before it did. "Mine."

Hugh felt emotion welling up inside of him, as so many thoughts flooded his mind. He felt sadness that she would have to leave his embrace eventually. He felt happiness that she was there. He couldn't let go at that moment. Her touch, her smell, the way she felt in his arms. He felt that in his arms he could protect her from anything and everything. Some day, they might be able to leave this life on the road and rest in the safety of a peaceful existence, away from war and destruction.

Hugh's worries faded away as he felt her small kisses around his neck, like pleasant drops of water on a wound. He felt her voice against his chest, as she said 'goodnight' to him. All he knew was that when she was there in his arms, she was safe, and that would give him a very pleasant rest. He felt her fall asleep after a short period of time. It was so nice to feel her small frame against his own body.

He was feeling himself drift away, not too long after her descent into sleep. His eyes began to fade, as his last thoughts were of holding on forever. He spoke softly to her, fairly certain she wasn't going to hear his word. "Goodnight." He forced it out as sleep suddenly took him into a world of dreams.

Tagged; Ellyn

Looking back as he hastily walked away in slight shyness. He noticed her face getting dejected with each passing second and the words that came out of her mouth after his arm was held by her just made Artos chuckle lightheartedly, she was innocent to a fault "Cute- no it's nothing like that," Artos reassured, placing his hand on her shoulder, "Eitherway, I probably do reciprocate the feelings, but I, myself have never been in a relationship."

"We can think about this later on." he said, looking up at the clear night sky "For now rest Ellyn, the coming day will be long and weary." he continued. Artos pulled the hood from the cloak that Ellyn was borrowing and placed it over her head and patted down once. The cool air of the desert hit him and he just lightly smiled against the brazen winds.

Ellyn giggled slightly as she nodded gently, she understood how difficult it must be for the two because they both have never been in a relationship and they both have probably never fell in love before… So she knew that they would obviously need time to think it through, she was just glad that she wasn’t annoying him or anything.

Upon feeling the hood of the cloak she received temporarily she blushed lightly from feeling his hand gently land on her head, and a tear fell out from her eye; not from sadness however, from happiness. She was happy that she got it out from her chest and that he felt the same way about her, but if they would advance the relationship?? nobody knows.

With that over and done with Ellyn decided to turn and walk away upon feeling the winds picking up rather quickly, feeling her lips as she walked off, hugging the cloak tightly against her just to smell his scent which she adored.

ALATOR

Alator stuck her staff into the sand, taking a moment to adjust her bearskin cloak as she watched the small bird in flight and looked over the dunes in the light of the moon. So quiet. So serene. But so cold. 'Such a variation in temperature during day and night,' Alator mused to herself, picking up the staff once again; her very own walking stick and self defense implement, its construction made up of wood as most staves are, and iron to add to its durability. The top was adorned with an ornamental design, intended to hold a gem. The top was styled to look similar to a cage, flat bands of iron arranged in a cylinder to encase the smoke white, translucent gem within.

Alator stopped admiring her staff for a moment and looked back up at the bird that was tumbling in the wind. She couldn't help but smile as she saw the poor thing drop in altitude only to flap its way back up again and again. A slight cruel, but there was a lesson to be learned, and that was the essence of the matter. She laughed all the same at his frantic flapping and irate, irritated tweeting.

"Come now, dear. Even when birds are young they learn to either fly or fall. Up, up! Mmhmhmhehehe." She uttered that same pleased giggle as the bird tumbled in midair and fell.

"Ohhhh, no..." She looked down at the bird, blank eyes following the rapid rise and fall of his chest. Her smile was small and tired as she opened her book and began to flip the pages. The spell she was looking for was a bit more advanced, but it would do the trick. With a slam of her staff in the sand and the clap of her book shutting, a wave of force emitted from her feet and made a small indentation in the sand, like a crater. The air lit up and wavered for a moment before her eyes shone with white light. There was a sound of a loud popping and then the whole spectacle was over. Dispel Magic. A useful spell, but not the easiest. In the place of the bird sat a sweating, naked male. The same Warlock from earlier, minus his robes and weapons. She picked up her staff, gripped her book and in one quick movement, smacked the poor fool in his jaw. A tooth fell to the sand as she secured it back in its strap on her belt.

"Run home, little man. Pray you do not find yourself in my presence before morning. We reptiles get quite..." She leaned in as he covered his indecency, letting the light of the moon shine off of her fangs and eyes, "Ravenous. Yes, quite hungry during the dark times." She giggled once more as he stared on in confusion. She could only roll her eyes, though you wouldn't notice, and huff as her coy threat went over his head. He seemed to understand perfectly when she hissed at him and shook her tail, taking to his feet and running in the direction they came from.

She sighed as she looked around over dune and through dusk. That spell would have made a fair amount of noise and even more light. Someone might have seen it.

Ellis

The halfling fought and fought the sandman but it was no use. He fell asleep through the ritual. His head laying on Ceris's belly. He slept rather deeply. With nothing at all to bother him. For the first time in three days he slept. He dud not know how tired he was until now. When he would wake from his sleep he would get a bit of a surprise.

Vivian

Vivian felt her eye lids get heavier an heavier. She agreed that the night provided such a scene. It always did for she was always a child of the night. The cold dark embrace of the wind, was so soothing. When they closed her breathing got lighter and lighter. Until she slipped into a great sleep. Her head against the wall of the plateau. It suddenly began to slide down until finally it hit and rested on Das's shoulder. Her silver white hair covering her face.

Garrek

The Orc rolled over in the sand. Still in the deep slumber that over took him. His mind drifted off into a dream. A dream that often came to him. His father was there. His father turned to him and spoke but no voice could be heard. His father was trying to say something to him but he could not hear him. The dream was odd and out of place. He couldn't understand what it was.

Zaphere

Samuel sat upon the roof top of the building. He watched the mages guild building like a hawk. He had begun to wonder when the inquisitor would show up. Then there they were, a force to be reckoned with. The other and the city guard moving towards the guild. He smiled and reached for the mirro only to see the inquisitor staring towards him. He was a bit nervous as he watched. Hiwever, it was no worry. The inquisitor proceeded with his attack on the guild. Hlooked into the mirror. "Lord Eliphas,... It has begun... Just look." He turned the mirror to face the guild building. Eliphas saw the destruction occuring. The chaos had started. He then smirked. Grinning devilishly. All of the monastaries forces had moved out. The ones that mattered anyways. Now for his own attack.....

Eliphas with a snap of his fingers, vanished. He teleported into the sky above the monastary. His true form taking shape. He could already see priests and the like looking up at him. Not all the forces had left. Oh well... He aimed his hand at them and cast a deadly barrage of fireballs. It was a firestorm spell. He had to move quickly as he saw them act in retaliation. He then soawned forth portals. From these portals spawned Retrievers, large grotesque spiders with massive cleaver like feet. They rushed the monastary slaying a gew in their wake. The monastary was still putting up much of a fight. The portals kept releasing demons of different shapes and sizes.

Das the Hungry

”I didn’t ask for your name, I asked if you could slice my sandwich for me” - Das to the headsman

With a soft thud Vivian’s head fell on Das’ shoulder. Her silver hair tickled what skin his vest didn’t cover. He turned his head to the intruder and poked the tip of her nose gently. His vulpine smile erupted on his face as he laughed, “talk about a chick on your shoulder.”

“Wait-- chip… it was chip on your shoulder.” Das’ stomach growled softly at the mention of chips, and the sudden craving for potatoes emerged into his mindset. He shook the thought out of his head as he sunk his teeth back into what was left of his jerky. With a loud gulp he patted his stomach, as if arranging his newly swallowed meal.

With his incursion of hunger doused he focused back on the silver haired beauty who had annexed his right shoulder in a sleeping blitzkrieg. This group sure was a friendly bunch, Das figured; of course, he wasn’t complaining. However, now he had to figure out how to spend his time.

He took a quick look around, mostly everyone was passed out if not busy. He kicked some stray sticks into a pile before him, attempting to balance Vivian’s head on his shoulder while he did so. He flicked his left wrist quickly and a quick flare of orange and red shot from his fingertips, erupting the sticks into a burst of flame.

The gentle glow danced off his amber eyes as the fire settled into a crackling camp site. A sudden realization caused him to slap his face; the light might wake up Vivian. Using one hand to hold her head in place while the other blindly reached into his rucksack he managed to whip out his canvas blanket he had used as a tent. With the smile of a mad scientist and a person who was rather proud of their idea, he tossed it over Vivian. The white canvas covered her face and body perfectly; there was little chance of the light waking her up.

Das nodded to himself as he patted himself on the back. His amber eyes darted back to his camp fire and he relaxed, content with himself.

After a couple minutes his right shoulder started to itch and he turned his head towards the spot in question. He jumped suddenly when his eyes met the white amorphous spectre that was the forgotten Vivian. His heart quickened but then slowed as he realized that it was indeed not a ghost, but a creature of his own making he had so quickly forgotten. He chuckled to himself and patted Vivian’s covered head, as if still congratulating himself on his imaginative device.

The Group
Das being the only one who remained awake, would be the first to wake to the dawn of a new day. As the sun rose it gave the sky a red hue. When one looked in the direction of their new destination they would see smoke rising. What did this mean to them? That the calm, safe haven of the city of Zaphere had likely fell to chaos. Did a foreign country attack the city? did a uprising occur?..... No, a war had broke out, a war not often held on this planet. It was a war however, that will always leave a black stain upon it. A war between evil and the righteous. The group could only guess as to what happened. There would soon be more smoke spiraling from the direction in due time. The worse part, the group could do nothing from this distance. No way to answer the pleas of help that would come. They where a long ways away from the city.

Zaphere

Unnoticed to the fighters within the guild building as resistance broke against Sergei and his holy champions, fire and smoke erupted from where the monastery was located. The guards wanted to go investigate but as they were going to leave the rest to the holy order attacking the guild people began to move through the city. These were not just ordinary beings. The beings cast down their cloaks and their rags. Revealing silver hair, and black leather armor. They had a demonic emblem designed into their armor. The guards hesitated at first and then aimed their swords at the newcomers. The drow cultists drew their blades and gave charge taking the fight to them. It was too late for apologies on the guild. A three way war had already begun. The Devourer had come to Zaphere and he was here to stay.

At the monastery drow had arrived there as well. With drow and demonkin fighting side by side they pushed against the holy forces still there. Eliphas dove to the ground with a impact that sent three men to the ground. Two paladins and a Cleric. The looked to him to see the horror of the creature. His body inflames and appearing into his hands. A vorpal sword in his right and a flaming whip in the other. The first paladin gave charge to try and fell him. He flicked his wrist and the whip came flying upwards its barbed ends tearing into the armor. The hit sent the man to the ground. The other paladin gave charge his sword up on high ready to swing. Eliphas blocked the blade with his vorpal sword. With strength only known to a demon he pushed with his arm sending the paladin back. Eliphas then vanished re appearing behind the man. The paladin turned to react, but did not move fast enough as a blade pierced through his armor and out the other end. Blood covering it. He tossed the dead paladin aside and approached his two remaining opponents. The other paladin rose from the ground and sent a holy bolt of energy at the balor. Eliphas took it in stride puffing out his chest. The blast hit and did burn but it was not strong enough to fell the demon. Eliphas answered in kind with a bolt of lightning. The bolt nailed the paladin in the chest. He was dead before he hit the ground. The cleric was mortified. Eliphas finished him off as quick as he did the others. He continued to fight leading his legion forward.

Ellis

He suddenly woke to a odd feeling. The feeling was a hand brushing through his hair. When he glanced up he saw Ceris. She was sitting up and with a smile on her face. The light of dawn shining upon her face. Neither one thought this would ever occur ,but their prayers where heard and their dream became a reality. Ellis could now look upon the real form of Ceris, and she could look at him with her own two eyes and not someone else's. He looked around as he rose. He saw Corellan standing their giving him a nod. He nodded back with a smile and then back to Ceris. He could not understand what came over him but something pushed him to leap and slam into Ceris. Toppling her over. "I told you I would save you,... no one else believed me. Not even you..." Was all he said. Tears came down his face. Tears of joy. She smiled and her hands went up to his chin and rose his head so his eyes lined up with hers. There they stared into each others eyes. " You have beautiful eyes...." He said. Her hair short at the shoulders and her eyes a violet color. She then silenced him and his talk with a kiss. The held that kiss as the sun rose higher and higher. When it was over Ellis looked behind her and saw smoke rising. His eyes widened.. "What's that?.." He asked. Both Ceris and Corellan looked to the direction and saw it.

"Eliphas has made his move,... we do not have much time left. I can not go with you as of yet. I will join you in the battle to come, but first I must regroup with the cities reinforcements." He said. His horn glowed and white cloaks appeared on them. Their clothing changed. The symbol of Corellan Lorethian on the backs. "You must go,... and meet your friends." He then looked to his right and appearing was a pegasus. It had no horns. It was just a normal pegasus. "He will go with you and take you there. To the tavern. He will help in the fight in my spot."

Ellyn finally got back to her own little spot. Seemed pretty nice for her as always since nobody usually came to her here, yawning softly she still cuddled into the cloak Artos lent her, it was so soft and it smelt so nice… She decided that due to how special it was to her at this moment in time she wouldn’t use it to sleep against the rough grains of the sand.

She got up once more and took a bedroll to sleep in which was surprisingly nearby. And finally rolled it out. Using Artos’s cloak as the cover to keep her warm until the sun arose for the group and for a new day...

Ellyn suddenly felt a breeze sweep across her face, she finally awoke… Something didn’t feel right?? why?? as she stretched she cuddled into the cloak and and stood up, her feet prodding into the sand once and again. She looked around quickly in an uncontrollable manner and sure enough, there it was. Grey, puffy smoke was making an appearance upwards the sky and Ellyn instantly screamed, she didn’t know what to do; she wanted to help and yet she couldn’t.

Sana rested peacefully in Hughs arms as the night passed her only movement throughout the night was to snuggled closer to him. Sana slept deep and even though there were no dreams it was still the most peaceful sleep she had had in a very long time; even when not adventuring it was difficult to get a full nights rest, especially when traveling. You always had to be on lookout for something or someone that could come out when you least expected it. That night Sana slept deeply, feeling safe and secure in Hughs arms. Even as the sun began to rise she didn’t wake, turning her head and burying it against his chest to shield her eyes from the light that was breaking. That was until she heard a scream rip out and into the darkness of slumber.

Jolting up right she hissed as the light hit her when her eyes snapped opened. “What the hell are you screaming about Ellyn?” she started to scream before her voice trailed off as she saw the smoke rising up from the distance. Rising slowly from her place next to Hugh on the fur she swallowed slightly and took a few steps. The smoke was coming from the town, where they were to meet Ellis. Was he already there? Was he okay? Was it something more sinister? Something pulled at her stomach and she turned to look at those still sleeping.

“Everyone wake up! We need to pack up and leave,” she said as she began to get her things together and make sure Rodger was hooked back up to the cart.

Das the Rolling Stone

The rolling stone gathers no moss; also it is a kick-ass band -- Proverb

Das appeared behind Ellyn and poked her back to get her attention, turning only slightly to see if the white canvas covered Vivian was disturbed by the outburst. He laughed remembering the late night misadventure and went back to poking Ellyn.

When her screaming subsided and his ears were left in a silent throbbing he finally spoke as he jutted a chin towards the smoke, “smoke in the distance means the fire isn't under your feet, the screaming won’t change that.”

He shot her an amber eyed wink and gave her shoulder a hefty pat before walking off to collect his rucksack by a black pit where a fire once roared.

Deila sat upright upon hearing the scream and bashed the back of her head into the bottom of the cart. Rubbing the spot soon to be a bump she crawled out from her spot and stood up to follow the stairs of the others. Smoke this large was never a good sign. To far away, Deila knew the group would move out soon and the heat would be upon her. She put on her boots and pulled out her cloak from under the cart. Now that she had access to the cart Deila put the larger pieces of leather armor in it and donned her cloak fur side out to help keep the heat from the sun off her. She tied her rope with pouches on her waist and gave Bulbo a drink.

The shaman looked around to see the alpha rising near her guard. The others were also moving under the alpha's commands. As the group readied to move Bulbo hopped from the cart to the shamans hide bracer. Deila noticed another member new to the group. One thing was certain he made his own clothes. In fact a lot of the items on his person Deila could easily identify. She took a chance, Deial walked up to the grey figure and put her hand on her chest. Druidic: "My names Deila. I follow the alpha. You are new are you not? Where do you travel from? Do you know a member of this pack?"

Das the One and Only

”Got you, you sneaky fucker” - Das to Waldo

Das perked a brow at the fur clad woman and rolled his tongue to mimic her accent and to speak in her language, “Pack, Alpha? Like dogs? I just knew it wasn’t me who brought the fleas into the camp, sneaky bastards.”

He pondered for a moment on her questions, and waving a dismissive hand to add gesture to his dodging of her query of his origins, “I’m from the last place I slept,” he paused, “and yes I guess I do know a member of the group.”

The man smiled, continuing to weave words of an ancient language,“ I suppose then you are a druid, a shaman? By any chance are you Kafshe?”

Hugh was roused from his sleep by the sun, giving him time to simply relish having Sana there in his arms. He felt her wake and bury her head in his chest. It felt so nice to have her there, safe from any harm. Only when she was in his arms could he be certain she was safe was all he thought. He didn't want to leave the moment, preferring to try and sleep again. If only he had not been roused by the sudden scream that appeared to have been from Ellyn the bard.

It made it worse when Sana jolted up and stepped away. Her yelling for everyone to wake up was not an improvement, either. He snapped up into a seated position and looked out. His eyes grew bigger when he saw the smoke rising on the horizon from the direction of the town they had come from. "What?" He muttered, rubbing his eyes and standing up.

He figured it best to gather his things up and start getting ready. Seeing as his beloved was in the process of checking his horse Rodger, Hugh simply went off and prepped his equipment. He threw on his tunic and his chainmail. Then he wore his pauldrons and his weapons. He was all strapped down and ready. There was only one thing left to do and that was to head to this new destination and figure out what was happening.

@Goldeagle1221 He spoke her language! Fleas? Deila checked her cloak while she talked. Druidic:"You are the one the alpha Sana called Das. You seem to speak my language fairly well. I am a shaman after the grandmother. What is the language the others speak? I wish to learn it, could you help me? This is Bublo my companion through many places in the deep wild. It is so good to have some one to talk to! Is 'Kafshe' the entropic side of nature? I was right to follow this Sana. She is the alpha of this pack, right? Where have you traveled? What is this place called? Did you know of the abominations that dwell here? So many questions, I think there is a mating going on between the alpha and the two men. We had a smaller creature that could change like grandmother but I cant seem to find him. I bet he could talk to me like you do. He was a good creature."

Once Sana had taken care of hooking up Rodger to the cart she finished gathering her things and tossed them into the back of the wagon. Taking her cloak she pulled it around her shoulders and secured it. Checking her quiver of arrows and her before lacing them in place. Grabbing her dagger and the silver one she was given to her belt before pulling the hood of her mantle up to shield herself from the sun that was going to be beating down.

Reaching into her pouch that was concealed under the belt sash she found the little trinket she had pulled off the gnoll she had killed the first night they were in the desert. Holding it up she looked it over. It wasn't anything special; just a silver ring with a small nice red gemstone set in it. She has planned to keep it as a memento but a thought crossed her mind and she smiled.

Walking over to her pack she opened it and found some leather she kept as replacement laces for her boots when they wore out. It would work well enough for what she had in mind. Taking a small length she cut it and then strung it through the ring, making a quick knot to secure it into place. Holding it up she nodded to herself before closing her pack back up and walking over to Hugh as he got ready.

Sana didn't say anything at first, just simply walking up to him and wrapping her arms around his neck, giving him a gentle hug as she did and kissing him softly. Letting her lips brush his as her fingers danced over the back of his neck. When she pulled away, the makeshift necklace was now secure around his neck, the ring giving out a soft tink tink sound as it fell to rest on his armor. Smiling she picked up the ring, held it to show him before tucking it safely beneath his clothing and armor.

"I was always told that men were supposed to carry a favor from a woman that cared for them into battle for good luck," she said softly.
