Welll, Eva doesn't want the powers of the Death Note to be discovered. That means those who use their powers openly are a problem for her. You shouldn't worry too much, though; she's just a college student who has no access to police technology. Not too dangerous... yet!

That said, Eva is on Eva's side and no one else's. If she discovers that L is trying to locate Death Note users, he'll become her enemy, too.

There is a difference in the name of a death note holder and a non death note holder, specifically, you wouldnt see his lifespan and his name would appear more randomly placed than other's names.

That's true, but if I can't see his face, he'd get around that. For example, if he called me up, I wouldn't be able to see his name.
