Personality: Ashburn is a bubbly and sweet boy. He is very smart and is well known to give his advice with or without request, though it just comes from his true desire to help people. An avid bookworm, he always has a book nearby and will get lost in them, even if it means ignoring life as a whole.

History: Born in Montreal, Canada his family moved to America when he was five to follow a job opportunity in Gulfport, Alabama. A single child he was very spoiled and had access to many things, though none could surpass his book collection. Social in school he was a theater geek to the end and was liked by many, even though he was a flaming gay guy in the south. After graduating high school he decided to go to university for his mechanical engineering degree.

Breathing problems have long plagued him. Even when just standing he will have spells when he simply can't breathe. To make things worse his back and joints have recently, in the past year, begun to develop problems. Working part-time as a waiter he has begun taking almost double the recommended dose of aspirin every day, just to keep working.

Physical Appearance: Zachary, a Caucasian, is slightly shorter than others his age, and he's a little bit chubbier too. He's got blue eyes and short bright brown hair, which he likes to cover with a red hunting cap (Go Holden! Catch in the Rye Like a Boss!). His preferred style of clothing is anything that's RED, and mostly casual short sleeve T-Shirts, plus jeans. He's got a small backpack (blue) that he always wears when he's outside, even when he's not going to school or the like.

Personality: Zachary is mostly quiet and asocial - he rarely makes any attempts to talk to people, and when conversation is made with him he often tries to end it as quickly as possible. He is capable of having friends, and indeed he does have people he trusts (though he's not in close contact with any of them currently), but he generally prefers isolation over the company of others.
Zachary enjoys reading fiction, from Neil Gaiman's darkly fantastical American Gods to Salinger's Catcher in the Rye to Roald Dahl's short story collection, and rarely bothers with anything else if he can get away with it. He likes to go outside to read when he can, and smell the fresh air as he flips the pages - and he does this with the knowledge that people can and probably will pester him.
When in danger, Zachary likes to confront his opponents head-on. He's not very good at it - the one time he was mugged, he tried to throw his bag at the man and steal his knife, but all he got for that was a concussion and no money. And no bag. And no phone. And no keys.
Yeah.

History: There's not much to say about Zachary; he was a normal, albeit introverted, boy for his whole life. He'd had a bit of a bullying problem in his grade and high school years, but it was never so bad that he was traumatized, and his attitude towards his tormentors was such that their relationship wasn't entirely negative.
His parents were never entirely happy with how he was, but they rarely knew what to do to help him, so he was largely left alone to read.
When he got into college - a very nice college mind, one that his parents might have pulled some strings to get him into - he took a Computer Science course and promptly flunked out on account of being too busy reading fiction. Now, he's living alone in a studio, on a meager monthly allowance from his parents and on his pay as a part-time dishwasher. He's also back in a community college, once more taking a Computer Science course and doing substantially better than before, even if he's a bit too preoccupied with his novels.

Zachary's always had some stomach problems - he gets stomach aches for apparently no reason, and sometimes he has trouble keeping food down even when he's not full. They've started getting worse, though. He thinks he saw blood when flushing the toilet.

Magic Class: (Optional 85% of demons have one) **Illusion - this is how he'd get through the day without puking at his face in the mirror.

Appearance: Lovecraftian monster from hell. His tongue is hanging from his left hand and his right hand is covered with eyeballs that are missing from his face. His stomach, made of some jelly-like transparent substance, would store highly corrosive acid alongside his very much destroyed organs. He would absorb his food by placing it into his stomach and waiting for it to liquefy, then feel in very disturbing detail as it moves through his body and gives each and every part of him energy. His face would contain only a mouth, useful only for talking, and a myriad of pores with which he breathes the air around him and distributes paralyzing gas. At will, of course. Any semblance of his physical humanity would be stripped away, just like his skin that is only muscle now.
His legs would be fine, though. Perfectly human. His brain would be completely unchanged, too, so he'd be freaking the hell out about his eyes apparently being on his hand and his stomach apparently being the only way by which he could eat. And since he doesn't have the instincts that aid most beings like himself, he'd be flailing around with no clue what to do.

Other: He eats with his stomach, he speaks with the only large hole in his face (which is surrounded by a bunch of smaller holes for breathing), he tastes with his left hand, he sees with his right.
There is no way he isn't going to go insane.

Personality: Eric is a very quiet person. He does not like to draw attention to himself and hates causing a fuss. He is very shy when he first meets people but after they get through his shell he can be a very good friend. He always has good advice and is not judgmental. He enjoys playing sports and learning about different things. He is a very good cook and loves to cook for others. Eric has always had a big heart and likes to share it with everyone. But do to his past he is always reluctant to trust others in fear of being hurt.

History: Eric was born in America. Do to his parents work as as entrepreneurs he was raised in both Germany and America. As a child he was given a private tutor that got him through elementary studies. This led to him being a introvert as a child, he always stuck to his mothers side, whether it be in her office or in the kitchen. This led to his love for the kitchen, he would call its a home inside of a house. Eric didn't have to deal with kids his own age until middle school. He attended middle school in Germany and to learn the hard way how to make friends through bullying and abuse. When he moved up to high school his family moved back to America. He spent his first two years in heaven with new friends and different pace. When his junior year started his parents moved him back to Germany, and they stayed in Berlin. He was scared because of the past here and only made a few friends.

When he came back to America for college he decided to study the Social Sciences. He wanted to be a teacher or professor, of history polotics and religion. He also had a deep love for mythology.


When he was 5 he developed a heart defect. He suffered a heart attack at six, this is one of the reasons his parents had him home schooled. As he got older he also developed asthma and anxiety.He looked up many different ways to help with his situation. The best was physical activity, so he joined the volleyball, wrestling, soccer, and baseball teams. He played from 6th-12th grade but the doctors said that they did not help his situation and might be making it worse. As he got older he had another heart attack in his freshman year. His anxiety attacks gt worse over over the years as well. He lost it in the middle of the SAT because of the pressure he was under. Hopefully the futrue has something good in store for him.

Personality: Mabel is a very dominate personality. She is loud and tough, to the point even a drill sergeant would raise an eyebrow. This probably comes from her experience in many militaries, at least before they started checking records. To the outside she is a no nonsense woman that can be a very difficult woman to work with. She does have a soft side, but only those very close to her will ever see it. Those she cares about can be assured her unquestioning devotion, though it may still be somewhat cold compared to others.

History: Born in 17th century England she was the daughter of a poor human woman, Abigale, and her Vampire class demon lover, George. Like most demon children her father was an active part in her life. Despite crippling poverty she and her family scraped out a meager life in the countryside. At age 16 her father unsealed her soul, ending the polio like symptoms she had grown up with.

As luck would have it her soul was also Vampire class, something that made both her parents very proud. Her life was blessed and happy for four more years before disaster struck. At age 20 the local clergy finally grew wind of this isolated family, and went to investigate. Father Robin, the priest assigned to the case, accompanied by a mob attacked the house at noon and set it ablaze. Abigale and George hid their unwilling beloved daughter in a secret celler and fled the house. George and Abigale were soon killed by the mob, their agonizing screams forever embedded into Mabel's ears.

It was weeks before she finally arose from the wreckage, and left England. A drifter she began impersonating a man and enlisting in the various militaries of Europe under different names. The monotony of a soldier's life was comforting to her and was her life for centuries, she was especially adept at finding units with demon officers and many demon enlisted that could accommodate her weaknesses.

After WWII however her time of service was over. Modern technology had made it impossible for her to serve because she had no documents and the uniforms/hygiene left her exposed to the sun (she had taken to coating her skin in dirt and rags for years and serving only in winter but modern facilities made this impossible). Finally exiled she joined the exodus to America and found comfort in cooking. She moved every few years to avoid people seeing her lack of aging and even studied and various cooking schools over the years.

Currently she is a head cook in a small restaurant, and is enjoying her tranquil life.
