Owen Grady

Since the incident on Isla Nublar, that once more demanded a whole theme park to be shut down publically, Owen Grady had been attempting his best at regaining a somewhat civil life. Working and living with prehistoric killers for the past five years really had gotten to his nerves, considering what he presumed had happened to his family at the final show-down at Jurassic World, and since then he had had a truly hard time with getting a proper job, a somewhat good apartment, and generally a decent, new life. It had been hell, if he was to be brutally honest, and nightmares of his experiences on the dinosaur island haunted his mind on a nightly base.

That all, the whole futile attempt of escaping the whole horror had been for nothing, though, the blond thought as he finally stepped off the ferry. A low breath of air was accompanying the small group of people on their once again first re-entering of the famous, deadly island. The sun was long gone, hiding behind a thick blanket of dark clouds, and the former Velociraptor trainer was sure, that soon enough rain would completely soak them. But not now. He swallowed drily, turning around once more to observe the group of humans getting off the boat. The letters "InGen" were boldly written across the long side of said ferry, though Owen knew better than to stare at something as stupid as that. For god's sake, if this wasn't for his beloved family, he would have never agreed to this utterly idiotic trip. They would probably all die on here, he supposed, and the fact that he didn't exactly freak out about that thought was already bitter enough.

His fingers all but clutched at the small sniper rifle, it's belt dangling loosely at his side, as the bags of proviant and shelters were loaded off of the vehicle as well, and he himself just stood there. Waiting. Not even daring to think about helping them. After all, InGen had been the one asking him to join the mission, and he definitely wasn't paid enough to further help them into their inevitable deaths; no matter how young and innocent some of the others appeared. A cruel world this was, he was sure, however no one could do anything about it. No one but he himself, eventually, definitely, trying to stop this bloody madness.

A deep breath was now sucked into his lungs, though; the scent of salty, rough waves filling his nostrils, before he released the air again. He already loathed this whole ordeal...

John White

Flashback 2013

Rapid footsteps walk briskly through the hallway of the Genetic's Lab. John White had a face of utter worry as he ignores the other scientists walking pass him, some even saying a friendly hello to him. The geneticist was heading straight to Dr. Wu's office, for he had worrying suspicion with their newest creation. The infamous Idominus Rex. He finally reaches the end of the hallway and quickly opens the door to Dr. Wu's office.

"Dr. Wu." he said nervously as he opens the door.

The head scientist, who was doing some paper work on his desk, looks up from what he was doing and makes a friendly smile.

"Ah," he says in a friendly welcoming tone, "Dr. White. What seems to be the matter?"

White clears his voice as he pulls a chair to sit down.

"We need a talk." he then says, "It's about the Indominus'."

"What about them?" replies Wu as he folds his hands together.

A deep sigh escapes White's mouth as he explains.

"I just got out from bed and was going to do my research work, when I was suddenly approached by Dr. Sandler. Apparently there was an... incident, regarding the younger sibling."

"What about her?"

John pauses to take a nervous gulp.

"She ate it... Last night she ate the sibling."

Wu's eyebrows rose up after hearing this.

"She... ate it?"

"Yes... she did. Which brings me to what I really wanted to say. I've been observing the first Indominus ever since she hatched from her egg, every day, and I've began to realized something. Already its been several months and not only has she been growing quite rapidly, but her intelligence was rising at a frightening rate."

"Well we did insert that ONE gene into her so we should be expecting her rise in intelligence. However, I find it odd that she would kill her sibling. They should've gotten along."

"And she killed the sibling in her SLEEP. IN. HER. SLEEP. Never had I heard of dinosaurs attacking one another, let along their own siblings, at night when they are sleeping."

There is a slight pause as he takes a deep breathe.

"I fear that Indominus is too smart for us to handle. She is going to cause ruin to this park. It will be 1993 all over again! She will shut the whole park down!"

"You do know very well that we are very well in control of her."

"IN CONTROL? No Dr. Wu, we are not~!"

"And you do know that we monitor her daily."

"We are not in control of her! Already she has attacked several workers and I can see some slash marks on the walls of the enclosure. I think she's trying to escape. We have to eliminate her before she can do REAL catastrophic harm and replace her with a much more stable creature. One that we have better control of!"

"And what if the other hybrid doesn't match to what you desire Dr. White?"

"Then there will be no hybrids at all for they will be too unpredictable!"

"Either way, we will not eliminate Indominus. She will grow up as planned and be revealed to the public as the main star of the park! Think of how much we will profit from her, how much fame, for she is indeed revolutionary. She's bigger, smarter, and cooler then a T. Rex... all what Masrani Global desires."

"You are making a BIG mistake Wu! She will be the one that will send us back to the fate of the first park!"

"SHE WILL NOT BE KILLED. And THAT is final... No further discussion."

Dr. White angrily gets up from his chair and takes a deep breathe before he could slap him for such a decision. He then walks back to the door, but as he opens it, he stops to say one thing.

"Dr. Wu..." White says sternly, "When this park goes to shits... you will say my name."

Dr. Wu seemed puzzled at what White ment.

"U-Um, say your name, Dr. White?"

White then turns to Wu with a glare.

"Your god damn right."

And with that, he exits the office and slams the door behind him.

Present Day

Dr. White still remembers that day when he talked to Wu about Indominus. It will be only two years later, after hearing rumors that InGen would come to the park, that he made his escape by taking a so called "vacation" back to San Francisco to be with his wife and child. Good that he did too, because not only did InGen come, but also his worst fear. Indominus escaped... and in response, the whole park was closed down. He was lucky to have not been there when it all happened and he never heard from Ingen ever since...

Several months later, he then gets a call to come and rebuild Jurassic World. He would've refused and probably went back to working with Genentech Co, but for some reason he accepted the offer. He doesn't even know why to begin with... maybe it was to tell Dr. Wu "I told you so?" Who knows, but now he is back in a newly built research facility doing some paper work. He doubts it a lot, but hopefully THIS TIME InGen will know what they are doing and hopefully not redo what they had did before...

As she stepped off the boat Kelly could feel her new boots warping around her feet. She'd taken Dr. Grant's advice and soaked them properly to shape them to her feet before leaving on the trip, but the tropical heat of the island already had her thick hiking socks soaked through and she almost felt like she was wading onto the dock. Hoisting her packs up onto her shoulders, and grabbing her laptop carry-all with its myriad collection of connecting wires to make sure she could hook up to practically any hardware they came across, Kelly headed over to the only person who didn't seem to be busily unloading cargo off the ship.

@choraki

"Is that gonna be a problem?" Kelly asked Owen as she came up behind him, nodding up at the storm clouds over head. She was no expert on the weather but they didn't seem like the kind of thing she normally saw back in Bakersfield. As she waited for a reply the computer geek quickly checked out Owen's butt. It was nice and tight and along with the rest of him the trainer looked like the kind of guy who occasionally drew the girl's attention, when she wasn't barking up other trees.

Years ago when they were first getting Jurassic World up and running they approached Jackson Thompson to be in charge of guest safety and asset reduction. After spending several months watching and learning. The first day of active duty he was admiring a Velociraptor up close. This was before Owen Grady showed up on the island. The Velociraptor was not properly secured like he was told. Jackson was clawed across the face. After the doctor fixed him up and he wasn't being affected by the drugs given to him, he went to the fool who was responsible for securing the Velociraptor. The fool was the Paddock Supervisor for the Velociraptor. Jackson forced the Paddock Supervisor to stare at his scars. "Next time you secure a Velociraptor this badly I am going to throw you into the middle of the Paddock along with Velociraptors. Your only hope is to run very fast, but a tub of lard like you wouldn't get very far, and the park can forego feeding the Velociraptors once that day.

After Jurassic World closed he took numerous big game hunters who wanted to hunt dinosaurs with him to Isla Muerta. It was one of the islands less used by InGen but never the less it housed dinosaurs. All of the big game hunters signed a waiver that in the case of injury, maiming, or death shielded Jackson from liability.

When they decided to reopen Jurassic World they contacted him to merge his previous position with that of the deceased Katashi Hamada.

The waves crashed against the sandy shore besides the huge ferry. They had docked on the Island of Nublar. It was a sight to behold. You could see the dark shape of the buildings of Jurassic World off in the distance. Well, some of them anyway. Between the docks and Jurassic World, there was the magnificent forest that held numerous prehistoric creatures. The large ferry was gently being pushed by the waves that lapped against it. On this ferry at the front of the bow, stood a woman. Her blonde hair being pushed back by the breeze that rolled off the land. She wore cargo pants and a black shirt. A brown bag hung of her back filled to the brim with essential dinosaur medicines.

Julia Stiles, at twenty-six years of age had one of the most useless college degrees in the world. She had gone to four years of college to get a degree in Dinosauria Medicine. Another 4 years in an internship for Jurassic World, and she would have become a Health Technician at the park. Thanks to the damn Indominus Rex, she was working at an Under Armor store. Finally, a month ago a representative from InGen had come to her apartment and offered her, a very well paying expedition.

Admittedly, Julia knew that it was a bad idea. Jurassic World had collapsed on itself like a house of cards. She had luckily gotten out of there without harm or fault, but she had lost good friends to pterodactyls. She had lost her boyfriend to the Indominus, he was on the stun and containment group. He didn’t make it out.

For some insane reason, Julia was back. She loved the massive creatures. Yes; they were dangerous, yes; they would probably eat her if it came down to her, and yes; she might die on this trip. But if she had the chance to save a life in the process, it would be worth the whole miserable trip. Julia turned around and looked at the activity on the ferry. There was a silent but looking ready-to-kill Owen Grady, and Dr. White, a man that was an expert in genetics. This trip would be interesting, to say the least.

Upon hearing the voice of another woman right next to him, the former trainer's gaze averted the boat at all, and finally focused on the other. He instantly recognised her as being the daughter of the famous Chaos Theorist and former Jurassic Park opponent Ian Malcolm-- as he was already informed she would participate in the expidition as well --, but didn't comment on that. In fact, he didn't really care about anyone's fame on this godforsaken island. The dinosaurs wouldn't just stop munching on someone because they knew about their fame in any other lands, really.
However, at the actual words of her, he once more glanced up at the sky. Narrowing his eyes a little, a grimace forming on his face, before taking in another deep breath. He was no expert with wheathers, but he could tell that this storm was clearly on it's way towards Isla Nublar. And towards the few humans on the island as well. He didn't want to get soaked through, but that obviously couldn't be avoided...

Another sigh left the former U.S. soldier's throat, and she shrugged briefly, adjusting the belt of his backpack hung over the shoulder whose hand was not occupied with clutching at a sniper rifle.
"Seems like it," he answered shortly, gaze returning to the young beautiful in front of him. He didn't even once glance back at the ferry itself. No real use in doing so, as people were either glaring ahead, or actually loading their stuff onto the island itself. Both things he didn't exactly want to join in, no matter that he had already done the first.
"I'd say we search for cover in one of those stupid hotels of the park. And if we're lucky, we won't get eaten in the first night. I've heard Karma can be a real bitch, though..." Since when had he become so cynical...?

Upon hearing of the most recent Jurassic disaster, and then hearing of the plans to re-open, even after history has shown it to be the worst idea possible, Thomas found himself getting connected to the right people, becoming a part of the process to making the new park possible. However, this wasn't his plan. The man had his own agenda for joining the team, he wanted to sabotage the works from within. Get close enough to damage the efforts made by the people who were going to make this reality, again. The only good Dinosaur was a dead one.

Thomas slept most of the Ferry boat ride, as it was the best time to catch some sleep. Chasing around living killing machines will probably affect sleeping patterns. Thomas was awoken by the unloading of supplies. He swung his non-lethal weapon over his shoulder, making a mental note of how pointless such a weapon was, and thanked himself for bringing a very lethal pistol, not that would do much to a charging T-rex or something similar, but it'd make the man happy to go out fighting.

Thomas grabbed a few bags, opting to help out with the unloading. "Wouldn't worry about any of that weather stuff, we'll all be dead soon enough. I'd go one step further.. I'm sure we're some test for some new Dino, probably being recorded for great T.V. It would make interesting T.V" The man spoke, as he heard Kelly and Owen talk, he decided to butt in.

As the ferry comes to a stop on the island, Dr. White can feel a glare of anger being targeted towards him. All he could do was sigh to himself. No doubt did he work on Indominus, but he was the one that put the genetics INTO the I-Rex, not the one suggesting the DNA plot-holes. Yet he is still guilty about the disaster back at the first park, even though he wasn't there when it happened. He quickly grabbed his bag as he steps off the ferry. He looks up to see massive storm clouds coming towards the island. Considering they were partially responsible for the whole dilemma at the first Jurassic Park, he really had a bad feeling about this.

As White gets off, he can see Owen Grady and Kelly Malcom talking to each other. He has seen Owen back during the first park and has heard of Kelly several years ago, only ever seeing a picture of her shown by Dr. Wu. He felt like talking to the two but was slightly nervous, as he wears a white lab coat... a geneticist's white lab coat... and heard all the details from Claire Dearing about what the I-Rex had done. After looking at them for a few seconds, he quickly walks with his bags towards the mainland. If Wu was on this island, he will want to have an urgent word with him...

"Seems like it, I'd say we search for cover in one of those stupid hotels of the park. And if we're lucky, we won't get eaten in the first night. I've heard Karma can be a real bitch, though..."

Pointing over to the tramline set a short distance from the ferry terminal Kelly nodded her head in approval. "Do we have any engineers who could get that thing running again? It'd certainly speed up moving our gear inland, and the electric motor shouldn't spook the wildlife too much."

To be honest Kelly had only joined the expedition at the last moment and for most of the sea journey had been in her cabin downloading as much information as she could from the InGen home servers back on the mainland. She'd barely stepped out to get food for herself when she'd needed it and hadn't made any friends with the other expeditioneers. Apart from Owen she didn't even know the names of half of the people bustling around her, and to be honest most of them weren't worth bothering to get to know.

@TheHunter
The porters and cargo handlers were looking up at the towering mountains looming over the dock, as if expecting a T-Rex, or even an I-Rex, to come bursting out of the treeline at any moment, and Kelly knew most of them would be back onboard the ship within the hour. Gazing over the crowd she spotted a couple of people she'd be interested in getting to know a little better, a cute blonde who looked a couple of years younger than Kelly was wearing cargo pants and a black shirt while struggling with the brown bag hanging off her back among them.

@choraki
Nudging Owen, her eyes never leaving the pretty girl in case she vanished into the crowd Kelly pointed over to her, trying to stay casual. "Who's that? Know anything about her?"

Raymond Wilson Jr.

Unlike the others Raymond had been on the island already and had actually been here for a few months. While the ferry was still nearing the island he was inside the labs with his father and Chickie. He was holding her in his hands to make sure she didn't get out of his sight while he was talking to his father. Well, it was actually just his father talking to him about the incident and how he had played a hand in it all. He felt ashamed by it and wished that all those people hadn't died for a mistake that he and the other geneticists had made. RJ wondered why his father decided to rejoin Jurassic World. Maybe he was trying to repent for those mistakes that caused many lives. Maybe he was going to try and make sure that they didn't go too far this time.

When they were notified that the ferry had arrived he looked to his father and said, "I'll be back. I'm just going to say hello to the others." He knew that some of the employees were returning and that others were new. They had a lot of positions that needed to be refilled and that was especially the case for the Security Division. He was in the Control Room when he saw the security's monitors flat-lining. That was the worst coffee delivery that he had ever experienced. He shuddered at the memory and walked off with Chickie still in his hands.

He headed outside and walked to where the ferry docked. He saw the others getting their things off and talking to each other. It was certainly an interesting group that had gathered. He recognized a few of them already. Owen was a trainer, Dr. White was a geneticist like his father, he recognized one of the interns but couldn't remember her name. They didn't work together much since her focus was mostly focused on the vet side of the park.

He looked up to the sky to see the dark clouds closing in on the island. A storm on the day of their arrival? That was an ominous sign if he ever saw one. He shook the thought from his mind and walked over to introduce himself. While most were still working on getting things off the boat a small group had gathered. He gave a smile and a nod to Dr. White and kept on walking until he got to Owen, Kelly, and Thomas.

When he reached them he said, "Hey, I'm Dr. Raymond Wilson Jr., but you can call me Ray or RJ or Raymond. No need for the honorific." While he said that Chicklet jumped out of his arms having been tired of not having her own space. She landed in front of him and scanned the others with her brown eyes.

Whilst Owen was indeed actually very little caring about the wheather itself -- even though he would definitely hate being soaked wet --, the following comment of one of the soldiers did kind of catch his attention. His gaze wavering from the woman in front of him over to said soldier, who was just helping the others to unload their stuff. He didn't seem to be the most enthusiastic type of guy regarding the expedition, especially when considering his words, and the blond indeed couldn't help but snicker a little. Perhaps he was right. Maybe this all was just a trap set up for anyone potentially harmful for InGen to get them out of the way. And whilst that theory seemed somewhat conspiratorial and paranoid, Owen simply couldn't deny the probably hidden truth behind it; else InGen would have certainly paid more soldiers than this poor bunch of retired Marines...
"A man with true trust in InGen's work, wow," he replied, and suddenly his mood seemed a little lightened. If he was correct with his assumptions -- although he didn't even know half of the names of these people, let alone any background information at all --, then this guy was at least as happy about InGen's plans as Owen was. Perhaps he wasn't the only one planning on not letting the company rebuild the park.
He didn't really pay any attention to the obvious scientist crossing their path, though. As already said, neither did Owen know any information about these guys, nor did he actually care.

@Genni
Kelly's question about the tramline, though, immediately returned the man's attention to her, as he momentarily followed her pointing and with his eyes. And upon seeing said tramline not far away from the docks, he shrugged his shoulders at her words once more. He was a skilled biker, and could probably mount a whole motorcycle within thirty minutes if he was provided the correct parts. But he was no real engineer, and therefore couldn't exactly tell if he would be capable of repairing a whole tramline. He could give it a try, though, he supposed, seeing as he did not exactly trust anyone else with it. Especially not the security guys. They seemed rather... hot-headed, anyways.
"I suppose I could take a look at it, but I'm not promising anything. You should set your mind to walking, really." He wasn't exactly keen on walking through the whole jungle himself, but there was hardly any other option. He knew about some scientists and security division's people already being on the island, though only in the area around the docks up towards the beginning tramline. To make sure that the expidition's people wouldn't immediately get chopped off the boat the second the ferry arrived. And he doubted that anyone of these guys knew how to repair a bloody electric train, else they would have already done it.

No matter what, though, the all of sudden nudge of Kelly herself did kind of disturb his train of thoughts. And whilst he absolutely despised being touched by anyone of these unfamiliar people, he bit back a snarky comment about it the second she heard her speaking. Gaze once more travelling towards the next direction of her saying, he spotted a blong woman, not too old, apparently struggling a little with her own equipment. For god's sake, why did InGen hire women on this mission again? Not to get him wrong, he definitely respected independent women in charge -- look at Claire, really --, but he was rather opposed to little blondies stumbling along in her high-heels, doing her best to catch up with rough, impolite military men. Even though she did appear somewhat familiar to him. But he simply couldn't get a grasp at her name...
"Is this a dating mission?" he simply asked, brows furrowing a little irritated, as he once more glanced down at Kelly herself. He had of course noticed her checking him out. And now this. Then, he arched a brow at her. He just couldn't deny himself a small smirk.

@King Kindred
The smirk died the second another scientist joined their conversation, thought, and the first response to meeting one of the guys that had already been here prior to their arrival was a tense with a very high-held chin posture; which faltered the moment he spotted the little raptor in the man's arms, though, which just then hopped off his grasp. His eyes widened in both, shock and pleasant surprise. The name of the man didn't seem important anymore, nor what he actually did on this godforsaken island. Instead Owen immediately crouched down in front of the little dinosaur, carefully reaching out a hand, as he place down his sniper rifle. Just then he realised just what species it was -- a Velociraptor. And he instantly swallowed down the up-coming guilty feeling, glancing back up said scientist.
"Where did you get her from...?"

The wind had intensified in the last couple of moments. The young blonde headed back to cargo hold and grabbed the rest of her medical equipment. Her eyes gazed around the deck of the ferry. There were men of every size, shape and culture. Admittedly she hadn't been the friendliest person on board. She had studied through her old text books, making sure she remembered everything. Dinosaur anatomy was vastly different from anything scientist had discovered. It was the reason Julia had gone into it. It was interesting to her, and challenging. She grabbed her other bag, and headed down to the docks.

Julia let a small nod the surrounding crew that had already gathered there. Owen, some chick, Dr. White, and a man around her age. They all had a dismal state about them. A dark cloud that screamed there was no hope. That this mission would kill some of them. It was more than likely. People had died on the first trip to Jurassic world and people had died at Jurassic World.

The sky reflected their moods, dark and stormy. She could smell the rain coming. She assumed they would head inland to the park, and camp in one of the run down hotels. That is if nothing were in them all ready.She heard a course comment from Owen as she walked up and her eyes narrowed. She wasn't some bonde bimbo.

The storm was making Dr. White more anxious. After a quick glance back at shore, he begins to head into the mainland and down the path to a nearby hotel. He can feel all the emotions of the others, all nervous, angry, disgusted, it really varied from person to person. Yet they all agreed to something... the emotion of worry. Now White really needed to see Dr. Wu, by all means. He then continues to walk down the path towards the hotel. He passes by Raymond Wilson Jr, who he recognized, and gave him a quick wave and "Hi" in response.

"Dr. White!" called a stern female voice from a few meters away.

White was startled after someone called his name as he jumped slightly and quickly turned around. The voice belonged to an imposing figure, a woman, with a black outfit, red, seemingly old-stylized hair, and blue eyes. Yet White realizes who she was...

"T-Tanya?" he said slightly nervously as he slowly approaches her, "My god, its been a very long time since we met. For a second I thought you were someone else."

"I get that alot." replied the woman as she looks at the island, "I guess your coming back to the island huh?"

A pause and a shrug was the only response White could give.

"And what about you?" then asked White, "I thought you were still leading squads of police officers back in New York?"

"Oh, I'm now Jurassic World's Chief of Security," she then said confidently, "I heard Hoskins was a real bitch back then... so InGen came to me and offered if I can come to take his place."

White seemed almost in disbelief. A woman in charge as Chief Of Security? That was something new.

"And don't worry." Tanya continued, "I'm nothing like that fat bastard."

Suddenly, she glares at someone by the shore. A worker was slacking off under a palm tree. Tanya made an angry scowl.

"HEY!" she yells at the worker, was he quickly looks at the Chief, "Get unloading the cargo you lazy ass! We don't have all day!"

"Y-yes mam'!" he salutes nervously as he runs to the ships to unload.

"Ugh," she says in disgust, "Sometimes I can't stand these people."

"How long have you been here?" the geneticist asked curiously to change subject.

"Already for several months," Tanya answered, "Just overlooking construction and the dinosaurs. It was pretty calm and organized."

"I see." answers White as he wipes his forehead, "Also... is Dr. Wu on this island as well?"

"He was supposed to be here yesterday," answered the chief, "However the plane ride to Costa Rica was canceled so he should be here in a few days."

"Thank you." nods White as he shifts the bag on his left arm, "Anyways, I'll be going to unpack my stuff at the hotel. Am I needed anywhere?"

"Not for the meantime," Tanya answers slightly unsure, "Once Wu gets here I'm sure he'll want all the geneticists to the lab. You should get an email from him once he arrives with all the information."

"Thank you Tanya. I'll see you around."

And with that Dr. White walks down the path to his hotel to unpack, while Tanya continues to overlook the unloading.

"Is this a dating mission?"

"I never heard anyone say it couldn't be," Kelly replied with a wink as she moistened her lips with the tip of her tongue and turned towards the blonde with a smile.

@TheHunter
"Hi there, I don't think we've met yet. I'm Kelly Ma... Kelly. Part of the tech support team for this little party," As she spoke Kelly let her eyes quickly wander down the woman's body, checking out the heavy pack and the field gear strapped to her. "I take you your part of the science team?" She asked, waving her hand vaguely at the equipment, some of which she recognised from her own aborted attempt to study the 'low sciences'.

"Are you okay with all that? it looks heavy," She continued, stepping a little closer and gently stroking her hand up Julia's arm. The pack really did look heavy to Kelly, but then again she was far more used to dealing with laptops and tablets, the kind of heavy equipment you could slip inside a small bag and swing from your shoulder without needing to strap yourself in to a weight distribution harness of any kind.

Raymond watched as Chickie stared puzzlingly at Owen's hand as he reached out towards her. She tilted her head slightly to the right to look at it. Ray didn't seem to understand why at first. It could have been because she felt the connection that Owen seemed to have with those of her kind. He crouched down in front of Owen after he asked him where he got her. He gently rubbed her back while saying, "I got her from the lab. The geneticists have already started on hatching dinosaurs. I'm a Behavioral Specialist here for the park and when this little one hatched she imprinted on me. Thinks I'm her mother."

He removed his hand from her back and placed it in front of her mouth. She stared at it just like she did Owen's, but she also bit his index finger. He lightly winced and pulled his hand back while shaking it. "I've been trying to train her, but I'm not as good as you were and are. Think you could help me out? Her name's Chicklet, but I call her Chickie."

He turned his head quickly when he heard Tanya yelling. She was the new Chief of Security and had been here for months like he had. She was definitely someone who wouldn't take slack here in the park. Maybe with the Security Division under her watch the park would be a safer place for the dinosaurs and for the people attending the park.

@Genni@TheHunter

He finally stood up again and watched as Kelly started helping one of the former interns. He took note of her stroking her arm. He didn't want to jump to conclusions, but so far it seemed that his chance of finding romance on the island was starting to dwindle. Hell, she didn't even seem to notice him when he arrived and focused right away on her. Not like his goal of coming here was to get into a relationship. His primary concern of course was the dinosaurs, but a relationship wouldn't hurt things.

"I could help you two if you'd like." He said as he continued to look at them. He didn't need a promise of romance to help anyone. He wasn't that type of guy.

"I'm InGen to the core" The Marine smiled, patting his heart, pretending this cause meant more to him "I don't soldier for money, I soldier to make the impossible, possible.. Or at least I think I read somewhere in a leaflet before I got on the Ferry" Thomas said with a smile to Owen, at least, before they should all die horrible deaths, at least there was another person here, he is going to get along with.

Then he saw there greeter, giving Raymond a nod. "Thomas" He said, letting the man know his name. His hands immedailty gripped the non-lethal attacked by the strap, ready to blow the little dinosaur away, it was probably powerful to kill, being so tiny. He really had to hold back from killing the cute little dinosaur. But then Owen did his weird stuff, and the man almost looked at him like he was an idiot, well looked at them all like that. Surprised these people were still alive "Dr. Raymond you have a pet. Looks like we're all going to die a lot sooner than I had imagined for this trip. Just make sure to scream really loud, give us a chance to kill the vermin before it gets us. I'm going to move, while you all play with the killer Chickie"

@Lmpkio
Thomas moved along, stopping at the woman who seemed incharge, who seemed to like to yell. The Marine was used to people yelling. "I guess I should report to you, over-lord" He smiled, dropping a bag, to hand over some papers. "Just so you know I'm allowed to be here" The man smiled, and then looked towards Dr. White. "Who's assigned to protect them from what they create?" Thomas asked, hoping to get himself close, close to the labs. Where they could make or break the plans for the next Jurassic world "I'd like to get assigned to that detail. Protecting them, is protecting my future"

As Tanya continues to oversee the unloading of cargo, yelling to those who were slacking, she is approached by Thomas the marine. Already by the attitude of him, she wasn't going to like him. With a sigh she looks at the marine boringly as he drops the bag by her.

"What's this?" she asks sternly as she unzips it.

After being informed what it is, she views the documents carefully, making sure everything was authentic. As she was reading the last line, the marine asked about Dr. White, mentioning who is assigned to protect the geneticists from what they may create and to get assigned to that detail. Tanya looks at the soldier with a glare.

"You are a mercenary from what I read." she answers to Thomas, "Not a geneticist. All non-geneticists are forbidden from going into the lab unless they are allowed by me or the geneticist to enter. I have a list here that allows certain of these people that have access and YOU don't seem to be on this list."

In fact, upon spotting the little dinosaur on the ground, Owen's focus was completely turned towards the little raptor. He did hear Kelly's words at some point, but eventually didn't really respond anymore. His current interest lied completely in the little creature. Soon enough, the scientist named Raymond crouched down before the former Velociraptor trainer as well. And whilst the baby raptor had only been examining Owen's hand before, he soon enough witnessed it actually biting down on the other man's index finger; he himself babbling away about Owen being way better at handling and training a born killer like this than he himself. And, to be brutally honest, Owen did want to believe that as well. It was somewhat understandable, if only starting with the fact, that he let the thing bite him without any consequence. He briefly glanced up at Raymond once more, but kept his hand where it was. He would never admit it loudly, but he did bring the clicker with him, which he had used on Blue and the others of his own Velociraptor pack. Just in case...

"You let her bite you," he remarked, vaguely pointing at his index finger, "and didn't punish it." Finally, he raised back up to his feet again, focus still remaining on the scientist. "It's quite simple, the system of becoming an Alpha. Those creatures are led by their primal instincts. They're intelligent, yes, but not as intelligent as to distinguish between what is morally right, and what actually just hurts themselves physically. If it bites you, it did something wrong. The packmate is not supposed to bite an elderly, whether said one is the mother, or the Alpha. Fling a finger at it if it bites you. Show her who's the boss." He supposed that was the main rule of this whole training stuff. No matter how cute the animal was, no matter how much one loved them, they were still less intelligent as humans regarding moral and stuff like that. One was ought to show respect, yes; but at this early age? There was no one else the Alpha but the person they were imprinted on.

However, his train of thought was once again disturbed by the previous Marine talking to him again, and only intensifying Owen's prior assumption; the man was probably really against InGen. Or that was at least what Owen was getting out of his sarcastic answers, especially with his rather exaggerating answer towards the little raptor on the ground. Immediately, the former U.S. soldier stepped forward, positioning himself purposefully between the little animal, and the Marine, expression instantly turning serious; a little sour, even, as he stared ahead at the other.
"This one's not dangerous. Not yet, at least. And if he's doing good with the training, it won't just chop your head off, dumbass. At least not without permission." And for some reason, right now, Owen would have loved to give his raptors permission to do so. Shooting an Indominus-Rex, that was okay. That thing deserved to be dead, being technically indeed a way too intelligent abomination. But a Velociraptor? A being indeed way too smart, but still somewhat reasonably existent? One had to kill Owen Grady personally to get to kill one of them, really. But, thankfully, it didn't escalate all they way up to that. Instead, the soldier soon turned around, making his way up the docks, and eventually meeting up with a redhead, who had -- admittedly a little too loudly -- been barking commands around the whole time already. A sigh passed Owen's throat, and, rolling his eyes in annoyance, he finally waved a short goodbye towards Raymond --

@Lmpkio
-- and approached said Chief of Security instead.
"Hey, redhead," he finally called, stopping about right next to Thomas. "Can you yell a little louder? Guess the T-Rex, that's loose on this island, hasn't heard the dinner bell just yet." He was no one good for higher authorities; especially not if they were being as stupid as to shout and stomp around a god-damn dinosaur island.

Once again, Tanya rolled her eyes in disgust at Owen's response. Like with Dr. White, InGen also greatly informed her about the Velociraptor Trainer and the bond of his pack of raptors. She had to admit, she was pretty impressed, yet she was warned on his bad habit of... ignoring authority.

"And you Owen should watch your big mouth!" she barked back, "I know all too well who you are."

The T-rex that had been roaming the island was unaware to Owen, contained in a new and strong padlock, a lot like the one back during the old park. So the island was indeed safe from the monstrous tyrant lizard king~ or in this case, Queen.

So Kelly was the fine looking girls name. She also seemed to be part of the tech team. Julia felt Kelly's eyes wander her body and rolled her eyes. She was used to be looking at like a piece of meat, but for hell's sake, they were on dinosaur island. Romance wasn't really on her mind. Survival and helping the animals was her main focus. "Yeah. I'm the Dinosaur Health Technician." Julia said, her voice in a controlled, and monitored politeness. She was going to be spending a while with these people, she had better make friends.

Julia watched as Kelly stepped forward and offered to help her. Julia had to refrain from smacking Kelly's arm away. "Thank You, but I'm good. " Julia readjusted the bag on her back, and doing this managed to shift a bit away from Kelly.She fixed her bag and wore it with confidence. "What's the plan?" she asked not to anyone in particularly. Her eyes gazed around the small group as most of the stuff had been unloaded. The others who had been their transportation looked like they would rather be dead than on the island. If they stayed on this for too long they might.
