Name: Kelly Malcolm
Age: 30
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Homoflexible
Occupation: Computer mainframe infrastructure technician
Personality:
A friendly and loveable woman at heart, Kelly can be quick tempered and headstrong at times. The unstable relationship between her mother and her famous father has led Kelly to be highly free-spirited and unconventional, taking nothing for granted and flying in the face of social stereotypes and typical gender roles. An avid gamer and computer aficionado, Kelly enjoys both playing in fictional worlds as well as creating her own. Her relationship with her father is the main focus of her life, both with the man himself and with people who see her as nothing more than Ian Malcolm's daughter.
Skills/Abilities:- Computer Programmer: Highly skilled in multiple computer languages, as well as the lead developer on a number of proprietary forms of coding unique to her own systems and software.1
- Electrical Engineer: Skilled electrical engineer, capable of building, repairing and maintaining basic electronics with limited support.2
- Mathematician: Highly knowledgeable mathematician and expert in the field of debunking 'chaos theory' and its related schools of study.
- Athlete: Amateur gymnast, Kelly frequently jogs and has participated in fun runs and marathons for charity.
- Failed Paleontologist: After her experiences on Isla Sorna Kelly spent some time trying to study dinosaurs, but when it became apparent she couldn't tell the difference between a Dilophosaurus and a Velociraptor she abandoned her studies and concentrated on mathematics and computing instead. Mainly to learn how to out argue her father on his own theories.
- Free-thinker: Kelly has a tendency to do things her won way, making choices and decisions based on her own gut instincts rather than taking advice from others. She often balks in the face of authority, and is more likely to do something she should if told not to do it than follow the orders of others over her own opinions.
While she hates to be known as such Kelly's biggest claim to fame is that her father is the renowned mathematician and author Dr. Ian Malcolm, and that she managed to survive an expedition to Isla Sorna, the location of InGen's Jurassic Park Site B, when only 12 years old. After several years attempting to study dinosaurs professionally Kelly abandoned the research in favour of mathematics and computing despite the urging of her father for her not to live in his shadow, or perhaps because of that self same urging.
Combining chaos theory with computer programming Kelly specialises in creating adaptive operating systems which are capable of rewriting their own code in order to compensate for changing environmental variables, within the strict initial guidelines set by the programmers. Hired by InGen, again against the insistences of her father, Kelly has joined the development team trying to rebuild Jurassic World, concentrating on identifying faults with the information technology infrastructure which led to the disasters both the first and second time the park was built.

1 - Kelly could crack anything upto military-grade software encryption by decompiling and rewriting the machine's base code in a matter of hours. She can design, develop and code basic programs in minutes and complex systems in a matter of days. All these skills require access to an actual working computer system however, as well as power to run them.
2 - She could repair a radio if provided with the required parts and tools, but couldn't build one from scratch or adapt electronics to do something other than their intended function. Kelly could easily build a computer from matching components and pre-prepared circuit boards, but wouldn't be able to build a circuit board herself.
