@Pathfinder I will admit that my better ideas are almost always of the darker persuasion. Tormented characters are also something I like to see, which is why I connected alot with Lapus Lazuli when she showed up.

What can I say, I'm good at making psycho villains, tragic characters, and tragic, unwilling villains. Just where my mind is at creatively.

Edit: That being said, I'm no stranger to making happy, lighter characters and ideas when given the proper inspiration, it's just that darker tones flow more easily from my metaphorical pen than lighter ones. Besides, my villain has a way out, as previously mentioned, aquamarine can heal him of his mental damages and whatnot if assisted by Emerald's enhancement power. It wouldn't be easy, but it would be plausible.

Sorry for the double post, just have to say that having someone tell me there ideas scare them is really a way to kill a groove. Now I don't want to do it for fear of messing up the RP and making people leave.

@AkayaofthemoonThanks, I'll keep that in mind . . . hey, my idea aren't bad, right, just a bit too dark given the context(though to be fair, the clusters show that thimgs can get pretty dark in this world. Would'nt put wgat I suggested past the gems from homeworld, or at least the military part of it.

It's not a bad idea. I do think it might need to be polished up a bit and yeah it is a bit dark so I can see how it could scare people. Cluster was a scary just because of how dark it was if you thought about it but at the same time you felt sad and heartbreak at having to see the gems forced like that so I see where you are coming from.

My idea was to have it beso, inthe beginning, the new gem could fight the implanted instincts for a few moments at a time, though it would lessen each time. A backstory idea I had for him is that hewas a friend of Aquamarine's from a long time ago that chose to fight for Home-world, but during a battle at the Kinder Garten where he forced her to retreat, he instead hid the Gem in acrevice somewhere, unwilling to see his friend shattered and experimented on. Him being chosen for the hunter project, as I called it, would've been his punishment for his betrayal.

Go back a few pages in the OOC. Pretty much it. I once made a character who was so easily persuaded he ended up fighting for the bad guys for like half of the roleplay. The other half was because he kept switching back and forth because he is kinda stupid.

Anyways, I think I'm going to go doodle a bit, since I'm not sure what to do with Eve as of right now, and I still want to hold off bringing Gilles back in.

Imagine I somehow had him wander into the whole situation with Reggie and Bloodstone and he's just like 'oh my god what even is this yes I'm filming this'

And then Bloodstone hears and...

He'd be a dead man.

I swear if any of these characters ends up dying it's probably Gilles because he's an idiot.

Gilles, on the other hand, would be more than thrilled to do so. I can already imagine his grinning at the mere prospect of doing so.
