Um, I'm still reading through the rules and all, but I'm just wondering, does it matter where the story's origins are from? Because if not I'm totally going to go for a Kurdish and/or Persian one, hahah. I have a character in mind, I'm just wondering how the heck I'm going to translate مازریگان into latin letters. Maybe let's go with a story that's a little less obsecure, Loony. That way you won't have to debate over whether it's "Mesringhan" or "Mezreenjhan' or whatever, and won't have people question whether or not the story exists at all. X______X

Posted, and it's revealed Reggie has a pet peeve for bad table manners. Considering none of the gems have ever eaten food, he'd probably end up forcing them to learn the proper way to eat if he ever meets him. That would go over well, especially with Evenkite.

@Saarebas Well, yes, I suppose that's how it'd be spelled letter by letter, assuming on how you interpret the vowels into English ones. But at the same time, you have to remember that our letters don't translate well in English, because all your vowel sounds overlap while all of ours are different, not to mention that some letters which you consider separate are simply represented by an already existing letter. If that makes sense. Man, I wrote out this huge explanation, but once I read it over I just realised it'd be even more confusing. DX

All I can say is that it's pronounced as 'Mehz-ah-reen-gahn". The 'a' is really short.

It's basically a story about a girl (princess? It's been a while since I've heard it) who has her seven brothers kidnapped by an evil king and basically goes off to save their sorry butts. I think the only reason it really sticks out to me is because my sister was named after the protagonist.

Well my day is going great. My husbands radiator just went out and had to call my mom to come get us. The tow truck pulls up and guess what... My moms car is now dead as a doornail. Now I'm stick on the side of the road. Party!

Yeah, it really bites. At least we were able to get her car started long enough to get it to a mechanic and waiting for my step dad to pick us all up T.T
