Hilarious until you realise how freakishly confused and scared Eve was being alone in the Kindergarten as a two foot tall gem who didn't even properly emerge and feared to leave her little hole because something as mundane as the wind was horribly threatening, and she thought of herself as some sort of freak because she was the only thing there that would actually move and talk and presumably think. It's really a good thing that Talc came along because otherwise I think Eve might've been a little cray-cray by the time the others found her.
And now you know part of the reason why she detests loud noises so. To her, silence was the norm, and breaking that was at first frightening, and then after Talc, just annoying.
