@Akayaofthemoon Blood doesn't care how it happened. The fact she injured herself and didn't think of a way to save Howlite without injuring herself is what he found foolish. If he knew the reason was because she panicked which causes her powers to fail then she would never here the end of it.

I am not saying he didn't do right by protecting the gems. Could have been much worse and he came to Aquamarine's aid. I am saying that he didn't see what happened so his words (if Aqua could hear them) would be a hurt stab in a new wound.

Also would you want someone to hand you the dead body of your friend and the almost died one of another and be told to go home? With no guidance or understanding? They have never seen a Corrupted Gem before. Nor would they understand really how to deal with a crack gem, they only know it is bad.

@Loony It really upsets me to think about, I wish I could have helped you and her in some way. I also really agree with your thing on romance. Like, I'm not technically an aro/ace myself but I have way less to no desire to get into a relationship compared with pretty much everyone, to the point that I actively don't try to and don't really care if that never happens for me. I can't compare how America and Canada view romance perfectly but I do think it's sort of unhealthy in some ways and I never got why it's seen as inherently so much... I guess better than the other ways you can care about someone? I don't know, I could post a rant here myself about people I grew up with and had been close with for 10 years basically cutting off contact with me and acting like it was all good because they did it for the sake of their SO, or my mom (who legitimately has gone above and beyond as a parent in most ways so I don't want it to seem like I'm calling her out) and her boyfriend (legit piece of garbage) acting like I was so selfish for pointing out that he was abusive and hurting their relationship.

Aqua tried to pin down the pincher with her weapon when she stabbed the thing in the arm, sadly she got her gem hit in the same moment which made her attack not as strong as she needed. She actually had a plan that should have worked without doing her much if any damage it just didn't work out. Not enough time.

@Akayaofthemoon Yes, because Blood is going to help a bunch of gems that don't like him and wouldn't listen to him anyway, especially in helping them fix someone that has dealt him so much pain.

@Akayaofthemoon And I'm not saying that it wouldn't be. It's just simply how Eve would see it. And I'm afraid Eve would only make Aquamarine feel worse if they met. She'll probably be more careful with the words after the Sodalite incident, but this is Eve and Eve does not lie unless lied to, until it evens out. She will say exactly what she thinks and I'm sorry to say that it might hurt more than what Bloodstone would say.

And I can imagine the newborns are beyond in denial, everything would've happened so quickly and their world has turned upside down.

@21308 You have no idea how relieving it felt to hear that from someone else, especially someone who wasn't an aro-ace. It's not something I talk about a lot because I know I've unintentionally said some pretty insensitive things due to not understanding romanctic and sexual attraction so I never wanted to bring it up in case I ended up offending them, especially around my allosexual and/or romantic friends. And I'm sorry to hear that you've been hurt because of how people in these sort of relationships neglected all else. I've yet to have it happen to me but I'm certain it will eventually, I've already seen it happen to others in my school. I have a really, really long rant as to why this emphasis disturbs me, especially with how the western world in particular seems to see it as, but I'd rather not.

@Akayaofthemoon -joins hug because why not- It's a little morbid but I could volunteer to write any future character deaths if need be. For what it's worth I Think you did a good job being Howlite for the brief time you had to post as her. Sorry you had to go through that, but I'm sure some happy parts are coming soon too.

Also should anyone but Blood and Aqua be able to warp yet? Aquamrine already gave some okay instructions and said that they were about to take turns warping home in person so I assume I could have warped, but I wanted to get reactions from everyone first.
