@21308I would definitely like to, but it depends on whetehr or not anyt of my curent RPs fall through, as I think I've reahed max capacity. Sorry bout that.
So, first, do you think the Creators understand that they are only strengthing shippers with episodes like this? Cause whgile I know it isn't going that way, people are going to take it that way. Second, I love how they're using Peridot as a window into em society, and the fact that Quartz are supposed to be giant warrior gems is definitely an intriquing thought. I wonder what Amethyst would've looked like if she had came out when she was supposed to. Thrdly, since all of teh gems seem to be having a "dealing with Peridot=exposition" moment, what do you think they'll reveal when Garnet comes up, if that even happens?
Maybe they do. I remember someone on YouTube thought that the large figure in Pearl's memory/hologram was Amethyst during "Do It For Him/Her". I think when Garnet comes up, Peridot may reveal what roles Ruby and Sapphire had in Homeward.
As interesting as that may be, I want to know more about how Gems regard fusion back on Homeworld, as that's the topic that I find the most interesting at the moment. Also, what did you think of my last Mars post?
I am not sure if they mean it that way or not but I am not apposed to the ship if they did go in that direction. I think Amethyst could very well loosen up Peridot's control and make her open to new things. I really love the direction they are going in to subtle reveal more about HomeWorld. I like how they explained that fusion is only used in battle so it is weird to see it a different way and we also know that what HomeWorld view as weak Gems only do it for battle. I had already guessed that Amethyst was suppose to be bigger if Jasper and Rose were anything to go by and we already knew she was over cooked plus I like her smaller anyway. I think when it comes to the Garnet Episode...I hope they show more of how Garnet came to be Garnet. Where the turning point to always want to be together was. Not sure they will show that but it would be nice.
Well it seems as though the Gems on Homeworld (from the previous and recent episodes) regard fusion as something disgusting if they weren't using it to fight enemies. Peridot mentioned it in the previous episode by "They're not even fighting! They're just-*puts fists together*"
And I loved your Mars post!!! THE FEEEEELSSSS!!! I want to post immediately, but I can't since you posted right after me. DX
I won't lie, when they showed that symbolism, my mind went straight to the gutter. I swear, I'm not sure if they mean for things to get taken that way or not, but all it'd take is for some to change the drawing just a little and you'd have fusion explained in a much more human way. As for what Akaya said, that''d also be rather interesting to know.
Glad you like the Mars post, that vision I gave him left him pretty shaken up. also, the eyepatch isn;t there for show, but good luck trying to see what lies beneath *que Maniacal Laughter*
I think they intended for it to go that way, again, judging from the past episodes (how Garnet and Amethyst danced in order to form Sugilite, and how Pearl mentioned that it was 'inappropriate' for Steven and Connie to fuse).
I'm scared (as well as sad) for Candice and Mars now,
If I was on that team, I proabbly be searching the internet constantly to see what people were saying, then laugh.Never look at fan art, though, at least, not shipping fan art. You know how those can get.
My mind went to the gutter instantly...and then I was like...I want to see them fuse. Please please please! I went fangirl...I didn't mean too but it happened lol. I think the Garnet thing would be interesting that way but we will have to wait and see.
O.O I want to see what is under the eye patch now...like I really really want to see it...
Well, considering that Mars is going through all of this emotional turmoil because of what happened in the past, he may lash out at Candice. Not to mention, I don't know if Candice would be able to cheer him up or be of any help.
