Reasons for new gems to join Bloodstone's side:
1: He knows about their past.
2: The gems know as little about him as they do Aqua
3: His invasion is what allowed them to be born
4: If Aqua, Rose, and co. had succeeded earlier, none of them would exist
5: Aqua is a traitor to gem kind, favoring humans over the gems. How do the new ones know she won't make this decision again when it's between humans or them?
6: The new gems have done nothing wrong in his eyes, if they switch he would be willing to grant citizenship to them on Home-World
7: Blood has all of gem kind backing him

Reasons to stay with Aqua:
1: She's nice and hasn't tried to destroy the new ones yet
2: She taught them how to use their powers
3: She was the first gem they met
4: She hasn't fired giant lasers at them

- The question remains though, who will consider switching sides if given the opportunity

There may have been a very good chance of Spinel joining Bloodstone if he had approached her near the beginning and promised her a serene, isolated place with no strings attached. As things stand it's unlikely that she will. Spinel may not exactly be an all-loving good guy, but she's already been given too much of a chance to learn empathy for her new friends. That, and I'm thinking I want to make the effects of being touched by Aqua's compassion a plot point for her.

@Akayaofthemoon Sorry to hear that the idea won't pass through. How about just an older sort of character? Someone a bit more experienced in the world to break up the panel of young adult and teen characters we have going on. Not break up, like divide and conquer, but to add something new to the panel we have.

@pyroman I think that's a good idea.

@Kronshi As for which direct Eve'll end up going towards, I think it could easily go either way, at least as of right now. There are factors on both sides that can easily play into her mistrust, though Aquamarine wins against Bloodstone in terms of how many factors by a milestone. However, the fact that Aquamarine did protect them against the attack, and the fact that Bloodstone attacked at all, also will make her more reluctant. So right now, either way. Not to mention that the attack is the reason why she left Kindergarten, which she's still not very happy about.

I will say that I do think that Evenkite probably does have a better chance of joining Bloodstone than the others down the road, since she'll be much harder to win over, meaning she'll be more neutral towards Aquamarine than the others. But again, it could go either way. I don't want to decide in advance in fear of sort of forcing her into a direction that might go against her character. Just sort of let it happen.

Sodalite would be on the fence on which side to join. Her initial distrust of Aquamarine was only because of Evenkite, and while Bloodstone may hold many answers for what they actually are, I think that she'd stay with Aqua on the hunt for the truth.

"You tried to shoot me in the face and have us all captured by giant spider robots!"

Amber won't be joining the Homeworld side because basically they stand against everything he supports. Taking over worlds, killing whole races, using giant laser firing robots to destroy stuff are all things that don't exactly agree with Amber XD Also I kind of picture Amber getting to say this at some point

As for Red Eye, yes it was called back into the sky. It just float up backwards so it could stare as it left.

As for Zircon, she'd probably say with Aqua and the others with them being the first people she sees and all. At this point she'd probably be too loyal to change sides like that so no going back there, yet Bloodstone did sort of try to kill them soooo xD. Although I guess if Bloodstone were to be the first person she sees things could've been way different for her.

I was nervous the first time practicing driving. My instruction let me chose a sucker and had me eat it on the drive to calm my nerves. Told me to tell him about things I enjoyed. It wasn't to bad from there. You'll do great. Just listen to the other person and relax ^_^
