Tyra Hallowell: Belle Meade Plantation 9:00 a.m. Nashville TN
It was supposed to be a simple meet-and-greet between them and a few of the members of another pack, it was supposed to be short and brief. They've been here for three hours now, going in circles with no clear answer to their question. Technically they were on a packs land -The Summerton Pack- and needed permission to stay, Tyra felt her left eyebrow twitch as the female Alpha before her continued to speak as if talking to a child. Her patience was wearing dangoursly thin with each word that spilled from the Alpha's ruby-red lips.
"So you see the city is small but vast and we'd like to show you around-" Tyra rose her hand and nearly sighed in relief when the Alpha paused, her brows furrowing, she allowed a smile to tug her lips upwards, her wolf snarling at the need for politeness toward the other, Tyra ignored the itch behind her ear and easily wedged herself into the one-way conversation that had been happening since the introductions around 7.
"Not today, we have things to do. However I'd like to ask a question or two if I may." She stated softly, her voice sounding almost bell-like, The Alpha female -Grace- if she remembered correctly eagerly nodded her head and made a gesture with her left hand.
"Of course Alpha Hallowell, go ahead." Tyra internally grinned and felt her wolf curl into a ball and quiet, steepling her fingers together she allowed her eyes to scam the other three Betas and Omega standing behind the Alpha before voicing her question. This pack had somehow managed to escape the Hunters that had emerged after Hunting Days original start, she wanted to know how but more importantly if they'd join their cause and fight.
"I'd like to know if you'd be willing to join us in alliance to fight the Facility?" She watched and could see instantly that this had been a waste of time. Grace's brown eyes widened to the size of saucers, her fingers twitching around the cup of coffee she'd ordered when they'd arrive, Tyra sniffed the air and allowed a sigh to escape her lips.
The members smelled of pure fear. Rising to her feet and gesturing to the members of her pack that had offered to join her, Tyra turned to leave, her anger boiling near the surface of her skin. Truth be told she knew from the start that this was a waste, not many hidden packs -what little were left- dared to rise against the Humans, it's been five years since the first pack showed themselves and everything went to hell and still Weres remained hidden.
This pack doing the same, they'd be caught sooner this way. Turning and jerking her chin towards where they'd parked their car, Tyra took two steps forward before a hand on her arm stopped her in her tracks. The air that once was filed with the smell of flowers, then fear now seemed to thicken and with an unspoken scent.
Turning back, Tyra's narrowed gaze focused on Grace's grim expression, the feel of her fingers tightening around her arm had each member around them from both packs simultaneously inch forward. The air seeming to thicken further as Tyra focused her gaze on the other Alpha, time seemed to still, sounds seemed to fade to nothing as crimson eyes met crimson.
