[IC] Bandits: Taking law into our own hands

The sun was slowly rising in the over the sky of Rondorio and the bireds were already singing in one of the inmense forests of the kingdom. The group of bandits had spent the night around a campfire, telling all kind of fairy tales and horror stories, happy because they could get drunk make as much noise as they wanted and yet no one would hear them in that dark and lonely forest.

It was around 6 in the morning when a huge animel approached Tear, who was sleeping with her coat as pillow, the animal stared at her decided th best thing to do would be to lick her face.

"AAHH!!!"

Her scream made an echo in the forest

"What the hell Kalush!? Stay away!"

She yelled at her horse while pushing it's face away from hers, once she cleaned her face and stood Tear watched the others sleep forn a few seconds and shouted.

"20 Guards coming!"

She shouted at the others to see how they would react

Isaac stirred from his sleep by the sound of the bird's song. As his eyes opened one of the small creatures landed on his outstretched arm staring at him curiously. Looking at the little bird brought a smile to his face. In his previous life he might've crushed the little bird just because he could but now after meeting the emperor and the knights, he had changed considerably. He broke from these thought when Tear announced the arrival of 20 guards, no doubt coming for their heads. He lifted the bird from his arm and watched it fly away.

"Fly along little one. This place isn't safe for you."

He stood up from the tree he had been sleep against and lifted up Punishment, his massive greatsword, and stood ready. He looked to Tear. "We going to meet them?"

Ardin yawned and protested as he got up, "We're in the middle of the forest, nobody patrols this far out anyway." He equipped himself and stood next to Issac still rubbing the sleep out of his eyes and blurryly peering around for the guards. "I don't see anyone." he complained loudly. Despite his countenance he had a hand on his crossbow and was ready for trouble just in case, though this wouldn't be the first time Tear had woken everybody up for no reason.

Dreams of living in the underground settlement of Salapi, one of the hidden Zenohunt towns, were what filled Cyan's mind as she slept. Gentle dreams, filled with peace, peace, and peace. Nothing could disturb Cyan in her state of gentle slumber...

"Twenty guards coming!"

The sudden should ripped Cyan from the world of peace, ripped her from her sanctuary. The cat Zenohunt rolled to her feet, her bow in hand. She drew an arrow, and aimed her bow between every member of the group, finally resting it on Tear. "Why would you wake me like this?" She hisses, before lowering her bow, arrow still drawn. "I was enjoying my sleep." Cyan was clearly irritated, as usual when she woke up.

Tear could not help but to giggle when everybod woke up trying to find the guards.

"Sorry sorry, I couldn't resist"

She said with a smile as she got on her coat on and then brushed Kalush's fur or a few minutes as she talked to the group.

"We she start moving soon"

Isaac rolled his eye and let Punishment's blade rest in the ground. "That was unnecessary." The bird from earlier flew onto his shoulder and he looked at it quizzically for a second before returning his gaze to Tear. "So we got a destination planned or are we just going to wait for trouble to find us like usual?"

Kyne had been sitting at the dwindling embers of the fire when Tear announced the incoming attack, as a Drow she only needed four hours of sleep a day in order to effectively function, usually using the other four hours of sleep her companions needed to mediate and reflect. Her meditation had been disturbed by Tear and her horse however when the beast came up and awoke it's master by licking her face.
"They would not be guards, we are in the middle of the forest, we have been discovered and soldiers sent after us. Do we stay and fight or flee and regroup?"
Kyne turned to Tear as the others slowly roused, this was not the best time for them to be fighting, most of them would be sporting a hangover or still fatigued from their long night of enjoyment, in her opinion they would tactically benefit from falling back and going on the offense themselves since this was familiar territory but some would have to stay and fend off the soldiers for sometime in order to allow time for them to get away and Kyne was ready to volunteer. She already had her mask in hand and her sword strapped to her belt.

Ardin sighed, "Can we at least get breakfast first? Hey Kyne, did you happen to make food while you were doing your weird sleep thing?" he asked pleadingly. He didn't need as much sleep as a normal human but he pull the same amount of sleep that Kyne usually did. "Usually sitting on the road brings enough trouble by itself, either too much or not enough. That's how it always works." Ardin said somewhat exasperated over the fickleness of fate just thinking about it.

Wunwun opened his eyes, slowly rose to his feet, grabbed his club and sluggishly walked out of the cave he had been sleeping in. Sun hadn't rosen yet so he started to head for a nearby village to look for food. After an half hour walk he got to the last bit of forest that borders the village. Sun still hadn't risen yet so the people we're still asleep. Wunwun located the barn by the smell as animals weren't out yet and walked towards it. WunWun standing side to side with the building was slightly taller. He slammed his club through the roof with an loud crack as the roof broke. Wunwun looked inside, grabbed his sack and reached inside for the panicing animals. Some of the villages men had stormed outside, but upon seeing the troll stopped and stared in horror. Wunwun grabbed two cows and stuffed them into the sack. A young farmer grabbed an pitchfork and rushed towards Wunwun with it, stabbing it into his leg. The pitchfork barely damaged the skin. Wunwun didn't pay attention to it and walked away back towards the cave.

Gunnar yawned as he stood up, he hadn't been sleeping so well in a while. He rubbed his eyes and scanned the cave, looking for WunWun but he wasn't there. Gunnar assumed he was outside looking for breakfast. Suddenly Gunnar felt his stomach grumble, ''WunWun better arrive with some food'' he thought to himself.
He slowly walked out the gave, the weather was beautiful but the sun was too bright for him. Gunnar rose his hand, trying to form a cover from the sun. He then set his way to gather some firewood. Gathering wood in a nearby forest Gunnar notices the birds singing, he felt in the mood to whistle along.
As he gathered handful of sticks and then made his way back into the gave where he set up the fire. He sat down by the fire, opened his backpack and took out a small bottle of booze he had brewed the other night. He gazed at the fire as he briefly sipped the booze waiting for WunWun to arrive.

Wunwun was nearby the cave, smelling the smoke coming from the cave he picked up the pace. He arrived at the cave, entered, greeted Gunnar and poured the cows out of the sack. They had broken their bones on the journey back, but were still alive. Wunwun grabbed their necks and twisted them and hung them up outside of the cave to let them bleed out as he went to the nearby lake to drink. He arrived at the lake, bowed down and lowered his mouth into the water to drink. After clenching his thrist he walked back to the cave and entered.

Cyan gave a hiss and had to stop herself from leaping at Tear, claws out, ready to slash at her. Instead, she slung her bow and returned her arrow to it's quiver before glaring straight at Tear with an angry expression on the rest on the rest of her face. "Mhm," She says. "Though I would prefer to sleep. To get back into that peaceful dream... That you interrupted me from!"

As Gunnar and WunWun were sitting by the fire, enjoying the meat that giant had brought earlier. They were having a casual conversation when Gunnar asked out of curiosity, ''Where'd you found all this meat, I'm sure they werent just lying around.''

Wunwun looks at Gunnar and thinks for a moment and answers "I took it from small people outside of the forest." proceeding to take a bite out of the cow.

Gunnar finishes the chewing the last mouthful of meat as he then looked directly at WunWun, "You took it from small people, you say?". He then reached into the pouch of gold he was carrying, checking the conent of it. The pouch was empty, only few gold gold coins laying inside it - he had been using up his gold quite fast lately. Gunnar chuckled, having a weird grin his face. He helped himself with the support of his wand."WunWun, show me the way to small people, we're going to take their gold" said Gunnar.

Wunwun nodded, picking Gunnar up and holding him in his palm. He made his way out of the cave. Sun was starting to get up high and it was alot warmer already. Wunwun started heading towards the village while holding Gunnar in his palm. Upon arriving at the border between the forest and the village he stopped and put Gunnar down.

Gunnar was gazing at the village, it seemed quite nice to him. He thought that it would be a brilliant idea to go and tax the village, besides all the trouble WunWun had caused earlier. "Pick me up, Wunwun! We're going to demand for their gold!" nagged Gunnar.

Wunwun picks up Gunnar and heads for the village. Upon getting close he sees two men fully clad in armor with a few farmers behind them.
He gets closer and grips his club tighter since he doesn't like soliders. The soliders look a little frightened and grip their swords ready to draw them. Wunwun lifts Gunnar a little higher and stops around 10 meters from the soliders.

Standing on the WunWun palm, he had pretty good vision over both of the two soldiers. He cleared his throat and yelled with a annoying-nagging voice towards the soldiers, "We're here to demand for our moneys! If you stand in our way, we will crush you!" . The soldiers didn't seem to be intimidated by the threat, both of the soldiers draw out their swords, getting into the combat stance - ready to protect the village. "Looks like we have to tax with force" said Gunnar to WunWun. "Crush them!"

Wunwun puts Gunnar down behind him then proceeds to step towards the soliders and roar wildly once he is in striking range he raises his massive club into the air and swings it at the soliders from the right side. The soliders try to dodge but it's useless. The first solider gets slammed multiple meters towards the right with his armor and bones broken. The other solider keeps charging and gets slammed with the same swing although a little weaker it is still strong enough to launch him into the air. Similiar to the first solider his armor and bones get shattered aswell.
3 Other soliders rush outside from an nearby farmhouse and upon seeing the scene freeze, but then proceed to draw their swords and charge aswell.
They surround Wunwun from 3 sides making it impossible to get more than 1 with a single strike. The soliders begin to charge. Wunwun raises his club and swings it towards the one on the right, he cant dodge and gets hit full force and is flung several meters. The other 2 are almost near enough to be able to strike Wunwun. Wunwun turns to the left and swings simulataniously, the solider gets hit and is knocked downwards.
The third solider raises his sword and stabs it into Wunwun-s foot with all the body mass behind it. It cuts through the skin and hits a bone and is stopped. Wunwun roars and pulls his leg away. The sword is still stuck inside but the solider is disarmed now. He attempts to run for it but he is too slow to get out of Wunwun's range and gets slammed with an rage fueled swing of his club.
