Technically, joining at 15 could work considering there may have either been a draft or not very selective process of getting every able hand into battle from a given area. Such details would have to be worked out in a Bio section, though...

Mmm, fair enough. But on that same line of logic, why bother recruiting anyone below 30 at the time, considering an Emperor's guard ought to consist of experienced members?
