A GM's love. Awwwwwwwww.
@Mr Allen J, you should totes update the OP
I'm sorry if this is a bit out of left field but i was wondering. What exactly serves as the "Mechanics" of the game?. If a conflict happens who wins and why.

Well the outcomes of fights are generally decided out-of-character, and then we write the outcome. It's based on what the writers decide on together. Because of that, characters rarely get killed in our roleplays. Usually, when two characters are about to fight, the writers PM each other and decide how the fight should go down.

Whatever makes a more interesting story.

Thanks. Same with NPCs but with the GM?

That's a tricky area. In the case of mooks, I guess you could control them, long as you don't go crazy and kill a couple hundred. However, in case of the named NPCs, I'll be controlling them. Like, for example, the Fiend Lieutenants.
