Personality
Max has a hard time getting along with other people because of his short temper and snide comments. He isn't afraid to say what is on his mind and doesn't quite understand that what he says may hurt another person's feelings. He absolutely hates being told what to do. He can be selfish but has a soft spot for pretty girls. When a pretty girl is involved, his personality becomes a lot gentler and he even gets a bit shy and nervous. While he isn't hard-working, he's a completionist so once he starts something he won't stop or give up until the task if finished or he realizes that it's completely hopeless (i.e. the time he was dared to lick his elbow).

Biography
Max's parents are both busy business people who never had time for him. It used to bother him when he was younger, but now he enjoys the solitude and freedom. He also has a younger brother who he is somewhat close to as they share similar interests in video games and net surfing. Eventually, Max was sent off to Ivy Wood Academy and his brother went to another boarding school for his age group since their parents were too busy to "properly take care of them". Upon hearing about the Match program, Max was completely skeptical. He didn't believe in it and definitely did not want someone telling him who he was destined to be with. Well, maybe unless the girl is really cute...

He has taken piano, guitar, basketball, karate, kendo, calligraphy, and many other types of classes in his youth as his parents tried to keep him occupied but he never lasted more than a few lessons in each class because of his distaste for them as a child. However now, looking back at it, he really wished he followed through with them, which created his need to complete things.

His parents send him a large amount of money as his allowance as a bribe to stay at Ivy Wood Academy.

Personality
Kali is a fighter. She likes to take charge of situations and always solves her problems by herself. Overall, she's a violent person, but it's usually all in good fun. Kali enjoys hanging out with people, though usually boys. She is sarcastic and humorous when it comes to large social interactions, but is careful to not offend anyone. Deep inside Kali cares about the people around her, but is too stubborn to admit it. She secretly is self conscious and really wants to find someone who loves her.

Biography
As a child, Kali's parents would constantly fight. They would yell, scream and occasionally throw throw things. However, if things got heated, then physical action was taken. Kali's parents were in what's considered a mutually abusive relationship. Many times, especially when objects were thrown, Kali would get caught in the middle of it. Unfortunately, Kali's parents rarely noticed that she even existed. She was suppose to bring them together (according to her parent's counselor), but her existence only seemed to make more problems. Eventually, her parents got so tired of arguing so much, they decided they wanted to get rid of her. Since adoption was out of the question because of her age, they decided to settle for the next best thing; boarding school.

Personality
Blake is an intellectual person, however, his grades don't reflect his wisdom. He tends to view the big picture. His views on said picture are very pessimistic. He finds life in itself pointless, and doesn't understand why people value life the way they do. He accentuates the negative things in life, and believes that everything could be solved by eliminating the human race. Blake has a refined aura about him since he was raised into a rich family. He resents his family for a variety of reasons, and is rebellious to their demands. Blake realizes that his personality and views are horrible, and sometimes wishes he could change, but her can't. He blames his personality and views on the way his parents raised him.

Biography
Blake was an only child and was raised to be perfect. His parents bought a tutor and demanded that he rise above everyone else. At first it wasn't difficult for him, but eventually Blake's work increased to the point that he could no longer take it. Blake argued with his parents for months before they decided that he needed to be sent away so that his "attitude" would go away. So they sent him to a boarding school. His parents expect Blake to take over the family's contracting business. However, Blake has no desire to live with his family, much less work with or for them.
