Big stupid spaceship you can one-hit with a good particle weapon?
Go ahead, do it.
Somebody will appreciate the target practice.
Meanwhile i'll just be growing some gardens.
Clever trick you used to explain away the billions of stars problem you used by saying "fuck our reality I subsitute it with my own"
I once tried that. It got convoluted. I went with a universe with celestial objects and life that evolved on civilizational timescales (like 2000 years of evolution to get a new species and a universe only millions of years old, but everything moves faster), with stars that have distances from each other around that of Eris (not a fan of FTL since it needs magic to work). Also it had way less stars, many of which being dim stars. It only got messier from there.
Better to just throw stuff in from another universe.
