Hello potential players/friends/stalkers,
I've been in the mood for an NRP for a while but nothing going on right now seemed to really fit what I was looking for and so I ended up on how to go about creating my own NRP. And unfortunately I created a few too many plot bunnies >_<
So, instead of putting up each individual idea and annoy the hell out of everyone by spamming the NRP interest checks, I decided to put all of them here.
As a side note, all of the "leaders" for these NRP are ridiculously strong (that's the plan at any rate >.<")
So, any takers to any of these ideas?

Sengoku legends is basically an NRP that uses Shogun 2 has a heavy inspiration and base. However, instead of playing as a real clan that existed (any major ones at least), you would have to create your own with unique traits and units.
This is undoubtedly the most complex of any NRP on this list as it would involve some numbers but not too much namely with army size and simplified profits. I deal with enough math on a daily basis, don't need more of that shit. Militaries and towns would have multiple tiers and levels with each clan getting interesting things based on their religion, starting location and overall outlook/strengths.

American Dream is an interesting idea I had after an NRP I was in died. Instead of controlling thousands or millions of people in an effort to conquer the world, it focuses on gang wars. It takes place in NYC (or a similarly sized fictional city) with everyone trying to gain more land and wipe out/assimilate the other gangs.
This is probably the darkest/most mature of all the ideas since of the very nature of criminal dealings players can get into.

RE_Birth goes along a simliar vein of American dream as you don't control/command too many people when compared to a normal NRP but still have a good amount. It takes place in a post-apoc world that takes inspiration from the Metro and Fallout universes with a giant nuclear war, pre-war relics and some newly mutated supernaturals.
Then entire goal of the NRP is to find and take control of a secret pre-war military base that is said to contain Project RE_Birth, a device which can turn the radioactive hellhole of a world into a beautiful paradise. Of course to do that one would have build up a strong enough nation/tribe/etc to be able to not only be self sufficient and able to defend itself, but able to find and open the legendary base.

Basically Spartacus's legendary revolt turned NRP. In this setting, After Spartacus leads a brave revolt against the Romans, many other organized slave revolts cropped up all over the empire. But, as Rome is, they have not only defeated the hero of the slaves, but have squashed many of the revolts.
Players would lead underdog rag-tattered armies of slaves, gladiators, unhappy peasants, etc against the might roman empire. Each "mob" would have its own goal in the end and if they reach that goal, history will remember them next to Spartcus while those who fail would be lost to the ages.

Also a sort of post-apoc setting, Waterborne's setting is a world where the water levels have risen so much that a great deal of land is no longer able to be used. Thus, people created giant ships to sail the endless horizon in an attempt to survive.
Players would take control of one of these super nation ships and try to rebuild a nation out of what country and corporation sponsored their ship. And as the water levels start to go down again, there may be a chance to rebuild land-based civilization completely.

Based on the Homefront games, this idea is basically a "kill the godmodder" in NRP form. Players would take control a rebel faction within a North Korean controlled america (don't ask how, just roll with it lol), each with their own agenda. The NK force is vastly suprior to anything the rebels can come up with and will be played by the GM.
The ultimate goal is not only to destroy the NK but to rebuild the US. Of course, with each group having a different ideology, "united we stand" might just be a little bit harder.

Based on several business games, 1KM is a business NRP with players having to control a small caravan company and turn it into an expansive trade empire. The setting of this can honestly be anywhere although I'm thinking either a post-apoc or a silk road setting would work the best. A sea faring version of this might also be reasonable.
This also requires someone who is good at this kind of number crunching and players who are okay with handling numbers and economic stuff (of which I probably will also need help with).

Taking place during the age of expanionism in the US, players will control a boom town hoping to strike it big with in the gold rush. All sorts of deeds can be done to try and expand the land a town owns to hope to get more gold, moral and immoral. Of course, while there are other valubale resources to be exploited, none of them will give quite the income that gold will at first.
So, any takers to any of these ideas?
