Fate/Fancy Cup

A few Rules

• Respect everyone (I probably don't need to put this, but this is my biggest rule. Keep your slander and mud slinging out of the OOC)
• The general rp rules (ie. no mary-sues, gary-stues, god-modding, etc.)
• No cannon chars, even in passing.
• Need a refresher? Use this (Not my favorite wikia, but works.... sorta...)
• Have fun! The main goal of all rps, just don't let it go 'round the bend.
• Take fights seriously. If you die, you're dead. You can try to run away, but there can only be one victor.
  
  Of course, your human chars can still run around like cockroaches if they still live.
• I don't want to have a posting queue, as it can be a bit too limiting at times, but don't go crazy off the tracks. Collaborate with your partner if you end up having a massive back and forth moment and allow a chance for others to get a post in.
• This is a casual rp, as such please write plenty more than a paragraph. If people have been waiting on you, then go ahead and post that tiny response, but don't make it a habit. I'm a bit lenient on grammar, but don't make it atrocious. Feel free to write as much as you want, but post when it's time to post.
• Also, no smut ok? cursing, smokeing, dru- *cough*. are fine, just no smut. PM or go home.

Ah yes, skills and parameters. Sorry, I knew I was forgetting something. I tend to do.... :P

I actually have a bit of debate with this one as there are some clear cut skills for classes (Riding, Presence Concealment....), but at the same time, a lot of skills are tightly tied to a number system. As I have never played any of the games, and in the spirit of a somewhat equal battlefield, I can't say I like the idea of one hero winning just for having better stats than his opponent.

As far as I originally planned to go, we'd have the basic class skills and nothing more. Rider can ride, Assassin can conceal, Caster can summon minions or items or something, the three knight classes have a buff against magic.... but as I'm not going to be doing much of the affected chars, ya'll are free to make that choice. I don't know how technical the other RPers are as well.

I can understand the better stats part in regards to parameters for physical stats, but personal skills seem like part of a hero's identity to me. Like all those little things heroes had in life that aren't noble phantasm worthy like Lancer from fate stay night having rune magic and protection from arrows or Heracles having battle continuation etc.

Yeah, I could see the personal skills being a good thing to include and something I actually wanted from the start. I'll add a bonus skill section to the servant cs. You can have any skill so long as it fits the class/hero. Sorry if I seem a bit wonky xP I never been than a D rank at the official stuffs.

Would love you add you as Co-GM. Welcome. ^-^ I also like the initiative you took in the Int Check trying to get the roles organized. So, props there.

Up to you for the stats. I personally don't want to mess with them as too many rpgs been ruined by the idea as a whole. But that isn't to say that their bad in general or for this in particular.
