[IC] Brawl in town

Adus began his day as usual, He went to the morning market, found an empty spot. Laying out a blanket, then to place down some recent acquisitions. Nothing to crazy, a small but highly decorated glass vase (arguably the most expensive thing he had for sale.),a used knife which has seen better days, but was far from being impossible to restore to a better condition,a set of clay pots, and a small lock. People passed by, and someone had purchased the knife.

Now, he is being threatened by an old man,This is where the battle begins @Blizz

@ManiacMaestrojason was in the market today, he hadn't hoped to buy anything but he at least wanted to look around, eventually he came across a man with a small set up, a glass vase caught his eye, he walked up to the owner and asked"how much for the glass vase?"he said as he lowered his chapeau, revealing his crystal eyes.

"The Vase?" Adus said, "this will run you 2 silver coins." not terribly expensive, as the exchange rate was about 50 copper pieces for 1 one silver, it was just time consuming to count out the coins. "How about 1 silver and 45 copper"the man aid to Adus. A decent lower offer,but Adus replied "how about 1 silver and and 47 copper." trying to haggle a little bit of money back. Adus wasn't entirely sure about this man's motives, as he was a rather shady character. Albeit, a much more honest shady character than those he has dealt with in the past. But something told Adus that this person is far from human.

@ManiacMaestro"I'll take of your hands"Jason takes 2 silver coins from his pocket and hands them to the man.

Being a bit intimidated by Jason's threat, Adus just went with it. Although Jason's actions seem to imply an ulterior motive.

@ManiacMaestroJason noticed the man felt intimidated,he put his chapeau back on and calmly said"if my appearance has scared you in the least, I apologize, I've 'lived' this way for quite a long time" he said to adus.

"Wait, I know your kind." "You are an undead,aren't you?" Adus said with scorn and sorrow in his voice. " I do not wish to kill you, as you are very Intelligent and polite. But, I must because your intelligence scares me. I fear you may be a necromancer." Necromancers are extremely rare, and extremely evil. Adus drew shield-biter and went into a defensive position.

@ManiacMaestrojason wasn't fazed"yes, sadly I am undead, and I am not a necromancer, but if you must try to kill me, so be it, although I will not kill you if I win, you seem quite nice yourself, and if I may add, thank you for the complement"Jason took a step back and drew his sapphire blade, his black leather cloak, older than him, danced in the wind.

Adus began the battle by aiming low, towards Jason's legs. The horde of people were taken aback by these two fighter's advances. Everyone had either fled, went into hiding, or moved far back. THIS is when it all went down.

@ManiacMaestroJason jumped back, he than attempted to land a blow at his head,he did not intend to cause any serious harm to adus, he only wanted to knock him out, Jason never did care for extreme violence.

Adus quickly raised his other arm to block Jason's swing with his buckler. He felt the force go through his arm. It stung a little, nothing too serious. Adus went in for another attack, this time aiming his cut at Jason's head.

@ManiacMaestroJason threw his shield straight up to block the attack but just Barely deflected the blow, it his him In the side of the head, not truly "killing" him but it did leave quite the gash"oh please, we just got started, where's the fun in trying to end a fight so early?"Jason said with a deadly grin.

"No, just wanting to see your abilities is all." Adus Said with a bit of a humorous tone. he then ran away from Jason. still close enough to see him, but enough to keep some distance (about 15-16 ft). "How about this!" he shouted as a bolt of electricity escaped his hand, headed towards Jason's general direction.
