[OOC] Academy of Heroes and Villains [Reboot]

This is a reboot/alternate universe of the original Academy of Heroes and Villains which can be found here.

This RP takes place in an amalgamation of the Marvel and DC comics universes. Most of the heroes and villains from these comics have either retired or died. Some, however have decided to teach the next generation of superhumans how to use their powers. At a facility known as the Academy, the children of heroes and villains are given the training necessary to help them achieve their goals, whether those goals are benevolent or nefarious. If you'd like to know anything specific about the Academy before I get the chance to elaborate this post, let me know.

Rules:

1- No Godmodding. The point of this school is that the students need to learn how to use their powers. They can't show up and be bad***** within a week. If I feel that you're godmodding and I ask you to tone it down, please listen. Three strikes within a month and your banned for a month. When you come back, if it happens again, you're banned for good.

2- Keep cursing to a minimum.

3- Keep romance PG-13. Anything else needs to be taken to PMs.

4- If two people want the same parents for their characters, the person that joined the RP first decides whether or not they share.

5- Wait till your character is approved before posting them in the Character Tab.

Classes and Teachers

There will be three class that are mandatory for the entirety of the RP. They are a daily Physical Training class, a Powers Development Class, and a weekly Battle Simulation class, which utilizes a VR room. One other class will be a temporarily mandatory Alias Creation class. This class will be where the students develop their costumes (?) and unique hero/villain names. I will control the teachers of the mandatory classes. Any other class your characters attend are up to you. The first person to introduce a class may roleplay as the teacher if they wish. Otherwise, someone else can be the teacher. Any questions?

In addition students can stay in either dorms or live at home with parents.

Name: Kaden Thorson

Parents: Thor and a mortal woman (whom Kaden later learned once wielded the Witchblade)

Powers: As a demigod Kaden possess enhanced speed, strength and durability. An example of this was when Kaden was hit square in the face with Mjolnir and was only knocked out cold (though it did give him a headache for a week). Kaden also possess a spell that allows him to summon and dismiss an item he is holding into an armory which whereabouts are unknown. This spell has strict limitations however. Kaden can only store something with equal or less total mass to his own. Plus he needs to make direct physical contact with the item in order to dismiss it. Kaden uses this spell to summon his sword which serves as his main weapon. Utilizing his sword like Thor would with his hammer. Kaden can summon the power of lighting down. However due to little training and understanding it is nowhere near as powerful as his father capable of generating. Kaden's greatest power however would be his charisma and ability to form a quick strategy. In the past Kaden was capable of rallying various Academy students behind him and work as a makeshift team of sorts. Utilizing each of their abilities to help compensate for each other which helped them out of several situations.

Bio: Born the son to the God of Thunder and a mortal woman who once wielded a weapon of pure chaos, Kaden was at first ignorant to his Asgardian heritage. Due to the circumstances of both parent's history Kaden remained on Earth and was raised by his mother whom had renounced the use of the Witchblade upon learning of her pregnancy. For the first 17 years of his life he grew up as an average child. Until one tragic day that forever changed his life. Angels from the banished Tenth Realm known as Heven were searching for the Witchblade and tracked it to its last user. Injured and unable to help Kaden watched as his mother refused to talk before the Angels slaughtered her before him. Enraged by her death Kaden's demigod abilities awakened. Kaden blamed his father for his mother's death for never appearing when they needed Thor most and as a result it caused a mental block within Kaden's mind hampering his powers as a demigod of Thunder. With no where else to go Kaden enrolled at the Academy a few years back and began to work on both coming to terms with his mother's death and forgiving his father. After a few years at the Academy, Kaden managed to gain some control over his powers before catching wind of the Witchblade appearing off world. After saying a few goodbyes to friends he made, Kaden departed to locate his mother's weapon to find it before the agents of Heven could. Its been two years since that day and now Kaden has returned to Midgar with a few more years of experience and a little wiser (hopefully) with his mission done Kaden wishes to continue studying at the Academy to help undo the remainder of his mental block.

Appearance: Kaden looks much like his father with the exception of short dark brown hair and deep blue eyes. Upon returning to the Academy Kaden now has more visible muscles from his adventures and it has given him a lean manly look. Clothes wise Kaden does have a set of Asgardian enchanted robes but has chosen to revert back to Earth Attire unless his other attire is needed. On earth he wears jeans, a red shirt, and a dark leather jacket.

Fun Fact: Kaden despite Kat's intial protests considers her like a sister/cousin and cares for her deeply. While Kat may not want his concerns he will not hesitate to help her out of a tough situation. Kaden does not care who or what she is, and to him she's Kat and that's all he cares about

Powers:

I'm Unstoppable! Sorta.: Enhanced Regen to the point of regeneration of near fatal wounds within minutes. Fatal wounds do not kill but instead put Ryan into a coma for extended periods of time depending on how fatal it was. For example, having his head completely obliterated requires a week or two to regenerate from while having his entire body save an arm would require months to heal from. The only way to truly kill him is to completely destroy his entire body.

Ice Ice Baby!: Ryan has the ability to conjure ice into various forms and freeze things. This also comes with an added resistance to cold temperatures.

Fourth Wall? Oh you mean that thing I just broke.: While not as pronounced as his father, Ryan does have a degree of insanity and awareness of what he is. A character in a RP that is.
Come at me scrublord, I'm ripped!: Ryan has trained his body for most of his life leaving him in amazing physical condition. While he cannot compare to heroees like Bat man who specialize in using only their body, he is more than strong enough to overpower normal thugs and such.

Boom, Headshot.: Ryan loves weapons. All of them, swords, guns, blunt instruments of pain, if it can hurt people, Ryan probably knows how to use it. He has recently been working on creating custom weapons and shows promise as a weapon designer.

Amateur Musician: Ryan likes the guitar. He originally picked it up to get chicks, it soon found out he liked it. He's not bad.

Appearance: Ryan is 5"4 with naturally Brown hair. His hair is straight and he keeps it brushed so his bangs cover his left eye. He dyed his hair white recently and is thinking about changing it to blue in a couple of months. He has grey eyes and a scar over his left eye from past work. He typically wears jeans and long sleeve shirts, but he always makes sure to wear his jacket. His jacket is black with a white skull on the back. It is reversible and the other side is white with black Angel wings. Ryan's jacket also covers his neck. He makes sure to cover all parts of his body besides his face at all times. When working on guns and weapons he wears steampunk goggles that he found at a garage sale.

Powers Kat possesses physical abilities far superior to humans, an increased lifespan, superhuman strength, immune to terrestrial diseases, and resistant to conventional injury. She is also a quickly becoming a powerful sorceress with many magical abilities.
Bio Early she learned the art of silent war- the war carried by words, sharper than any other blade. Yes her father taught her to fight too, but her destiny has never been for the battle field. And so he gives more weight to the damage of words than arms, telling very little of her past lest those words return to her poised at her throat. But despite this Kat does not look as if she wears a war; she laughs easily and dances often. She revels in her femininity and in her magic, but don't mistake her for some gentle ethereal creature. She can be sarcastic, amorous and at times cruel but providing you do not provoke her you should be able to escape an encounter with her mostly unscathed.
Appearance Jet-black hair, flawless skin and those green eyes there are few who can deny Kat is attractive. However they would argue over how. To some she is bold: making you mess up your words, free in a way that leaves you breathless. To others she is dark: intimidating, dangerous and savage in her loveliness, leaving you wondering beauty or beast? But a word would resound from all: enchanting.
