Birth Name:
Jonathan Trent
Alias:
Fracture
Appearance:
Gender:
Male
Age:
25
Skills:
Powers and Abilities:
Osteokenesis - When taking in high amounts of calcium (normally though drinking unhealthy amounts of milk), Jonathan can control the growth of his bones to protrude from his skin to create dermal armor and weaponry. While he can sometimes create armor or weapons without high amounts of calcium, the exposed bone is usually frail and does not last long in a battle. Despite his ability to control the growth of his bones, he cannot revert it. To appear normal, the exposed bones must be broken enough for his body to hear the rest of the way.
Minor healing factor - While not even close to the extent of James "Logan" Howlett or Wade Wilson, Jonathan's healing factor works enough so that he doesn't bleed out when resuming a normal appearance by breaking off his dermal armor.
SHIELD HISTORY:
Jonathan was born in California to two Mutants in hiding. From his father, he was gifted bone density and manipulation, and from his mother, a healing factor. While they were aware of each others mutations, they did not know that they had passed onto their son. It wasn't until an eventful day in first grade that Jonathan learned of his abilities. He had been bullied and angered, and as the boy clutched his fist, the bone began to grow over his skin. It had scared him and everyone near him, and the boy's parents knew they had to relocate.
While traveling, the Trent family took a stop at a bank. Unfortunately, not long after they arrived, it had become the scene of an armed robbery. Now a young teen, Jonathan refused to allow their actions to go unpunished, and created his first set of full dermal armor. The display had caused his father to join in and help his son fight the robbers long enough for the police to get there. They were lucky that they were not detained themselves for using their mutant abilities, and continued on their way. Little did they know, Jonathan's actions garnered the attention of a certain agency.
At the age of seventeen, SHIELD contacted Jonathan. He spent five years at the SHIELD academy of Operations, where he trained to be a field agent. He spent more time at the academy than most because of his mutant abilities, but that only meant that he had more training before going out into the field. He was a great field agent, normally being put on missions that could require one to three other people. He worked well on a team, but not as the leader. He followed orders to a tee, but couldn't give them out quite as well.
Additional notes: Jonathan can change the appearance of his dermal armor and weaponry for different occasions.
