Past: Kurt wasn't always treated very well as a kid. Some major "events" involving his parents and drugs usually isolated him from them, and as a result he often lived with an aunt who taught him to garden and grow plants. At first he was uninterested, but eventually he grew to love the potted plants he grew and cared for, which irritated his parents when they finally and sporadically chose to pay attention to him. It was too late. He liked his plants more. He ended up becoming a botanist, which shouldn't really be any surprise.

Personality: Has a sort of tough shell; aloof and not talkative. Very serious-looking, but actually soft as hell. Annoyingly particular about taking care of any plants in his possession and will keep checklists if he has too many to remember to water. Doesn't trust other people with his plants, even if he might trust them with his life, and if he isn't too shy to say anything, he is nearly guaranteed to geek out about plants. Are you sick of plants? You will be by the time you're done talking to Kurt. Even though he's reasonably big and muscly, he's somewhat of a gentle giant.

The sole child of her family meant that she was a treasure to be valued by her parents. They indulged her and protected her with the best of their abilities to craft the most beautiful porcelain doll to ever live on the planet. She is of wealthy background and is ignorant to most of life's problems but came to a decline after having scammed and bankrupted from business. Her parents poured their resources to place her inside a mysterious laboratory that claimed to have unlocked the secrets to becoming more than just plain human. For the first time ever Eva took matters to her own hands and filled the application and submitted them to the PRL.

Personality:
A seemingly frail and damsel-in-distress like character charged with nothing but emotions in her life. Such an unstable condition had made her selfish in an occassion and demanding. Her outer exterio shows signs of insecurity and extreme fear towards pain-- causimg her to berserk when pain is instilled on her.

It is not known why she chose Ferrokinesis. When exposed to the power, her arm and leg limbs were torn apart by the power, mutating them to a pitch-black alloy that soon turns to her final arms and legs. The result was so painful that it resulted in violent PTSD that is incurable.

Past:
She was born into a normal family, Or so she thought. She has one older brother named Xander and her parents Lilly and Jeremy. What she did know was her parents were away and never told her anything. She just thought they were busy with work. What she didn’t know they were delving into business they weren’t supposed to. Her father was a “Police Man” and her mother worked in a “Law Firm”. Thats what they told her at least. One day her parents came home very anxious talking in hushed voices all night, Not really what you expect from parents when they don’t get much time with you. Later that night in the middle of the night there house was set on fire. Her brother and her got out of the house but realised their parents were still in the house. Both fearing for their parent lives, they ran in to get them and in the process of trying to get them out their roof collapsed over a section of the house and her brother and her were forced to leave the house without her parents. Their parent's did not survive, and soon after Xander had to leave for college. Thus leaving Drew all on her own. In hopes of preventing any future events of not being able to save anybody she applied for this lab in hopes of obtaining intangibility.

Personality:
She is very nice and kind but rather outgoing and not afraid to speak her mind. She’s never been a girly girl and is normally one of the guys. She hates seeing someone get hurt so if she sees someone getting hurt she will not hesitate to go help. She is normally optimistic and helpful. She finds it hard to say no to people. She likes hanging out with people but she likes being on her own sometimes and just read or write.

Past: Tori was always different she was a girl always did what she wanted when she wanted. She was born an only child and hated it. She would often run away for a few days and would secretly take stray animals to shelters when she ran away. She would not hand them in though only take them to the door ring the doorbell and hide nearby to make sure they got in. It became a habit and her parents got used to it. One day when Tori was bunking and advertisement came up, when she was watching YouTube, for a power developing lab. Tori was instantly interested and clicked on the advertisement. She soon found out more about it and decided to apply for it. She knew her parents would not allow her but she went ahead and packed to go. So she once again ran away in the night but this time it was going to be for a much longer time
Personality: She is very energetic and bouncy. She would take any risks to do what she wanted too. She is what you could classify as a rebel yet can get good grades so she is often bunking knowing she will not miss much.

Past(optional): Troy grew up in the street alone throughout his youth. Always having to fend for himself and fight for what he wanted. Needing to survive, he joined a local gang that took him in, treating him like family....the only family he's ever felt that he had. During those years in the gang, he's been involved in fights with rival gangs, robbed, sold drugs, and became a small time pimp for a little while. His life changed when he stole an item that belonged to a boss from a crime syndicate and the boss's men killed his best friend along with everyone that was part of his crew. From that guilt, and being framed to be taken in by the police, Troy left town to get with one of his contacts that had connections to gain weaponry, help, whatever he needed. Finding something about the PRL, Troy asked his contact about it where he explained to him that it was some program to gain power but he was not exactly sure about it. With revenge on his mind, he needed to find a way to make himself useful and capable of getting back at the guys who took away everything that he had and if this is what it would take to get his revenge by gaining power, he was down for it.

Personality: He has a streetwise mentality where he feels he will take what he wants. He has a hard time trusting others but if you win him over, he can be loyal to a friend. He can be a bit sneaking as he has a habit of stealing from people mostly ones that are not a friend of his. He tends to be indifferent and standoffish unless you give him attention. He's not afraid of a fight if he's provoked.

Personality: Slightly introverted and shy, but he was a trouble maker and now a drop out he was going to go into grade eleven except he then heard about the experiments happening, he is a witty boy with shy tendencies although he could be pretty awesome he just doesn't like to socialize a lot but he does offer humorous ideas and helpful imput.

He is a likeable kid and a mature sort of teenager.

Fears: Although he has deep interest in the subject he fears more than anything death and dieting alone, although he knows death is inevitable he wants to live for a very long time.

Past(optional): Originally born in hawaii's largest island, Jacque's story starts off relatively simple. In his youth he did everything that normal children did: he went to school, hung out with friends, all of the typical stuff until he reached the age of eighteen. From there he joined the US Army to pay his way through his first four years of college, where he majored marine science. After his contract was up and he'd acquired his bachelors degree, Jacque ended up working for a group of scientists that studied the migratory pattern of sharks. As it turns out the universe happens to either have a twisted sense of humor, or it really enjoys the movie Deep Blue Sea. During one trip out to sea Jacque ended up losing his arm when he came a bit too close to the business end of a fourteen foot tiger shark that was being tagged. He survived the injury, and surprisingly wasn't massively traumatized by it, the real issues came when he got out of the hospital. Jacque had a hellish time trying to adjust to his new life, and at one point was even contemplating just eating a bullet because he couldn't stand having a missing limb. Thankfully he found an alternative solution via the P.R.L.. Jacque originally planned on signing up for regeneration, however after hypothesizing that it would probably only work on new injuries rather than those that had already occurred, he opted for something a bit more up his alley.

Personality: Jacque is a fairly flexible and straightforward guy. He acts as he his treated; responding with politeness and kindness to those that do the same to him. Those that come to him with rudeness or animosity can expect a startling show of aggression, though whether this aggression will be through words or physical action depends on the level of their transgression. There is one hang up with Jacque however: He has a bit of a Darwinist view of things at times, believing that the strong triumphing over the weak is just nature working itself out, and as a result tends to consider things like fairness and helping the less fortunate (the sickly, the elderly, etc.) as luxuries that can be dropped the moment they become too inconvenient.

Fears: Becoming crippled or otherwise useless, albatrosses (he was swarmed by a group of them as a little kid, left a bad impression).

Past/History:

Rei was born in Las Vegas to a Japanese father and Chinese mother, but his mother abandoned the family for another man when he turned five - Rei had no choice but to stand up on his own feet to look after himself, so as not to be a burden to his father. His dad became a workaholic in order to escape the anguish at the loss of his woman that hurt his pride and pretty much ignored his son's existence, whom he didn't know what to do with. Young Rei had been quite a queer child - when he was a baby he rarely cried; as he grew up his introverted personality became more and more apparent. He found it difficult to connect with people and his reclusive situation worsened, in which he started to take up martial arts training and throwing himself into various random interests and activities to fill up the emptiness in his social life. He was constantly been targeted by the bullies in school and in his neighborhood - even though he merely shrugged them off and went on with his daily life, he was unaware of a dark seed that was planted inside of him...

When he was fifteen, a group of drunk gamblers who had just lost their money mugged and tried to rape him to vent their anger and frustration - that became a trigger that caused something inside of Rei to snap and killed them all out of sudden rage. That spur of violent outburst started to corrode his inside and the seed began to grow...

His father, out of fear of his potential bloodlust, decided to send him to PRL. He signed his son up for an ability that would draw only on his own blood, to keep him in check should his dark side ever goes on an unexpected rampage.

Personality:

On the outside, Rei is a quiet, mild-mannered teenager who is rather oblivious to his surroundings and always seems to be lost in his own thoughts, preferring to work at his own pace - an odd loner. It's difficult to start a conversation and/or keep it going with him, for he pays little to no attention to the ongoing discussion and instead let his mind drifts off to things that interest him more, sometimes he may suddenly change the topic at random and that often confuses the rest, or leave the group without prior warning. As one gets to know him better, hints of his sadistic side will start to surface: he rarely sympathize with others, secretly enjoying the sight of them writhing in agony. In truth, Rei is someone who is cold, blunt and downright sarcastic at first but may slowly warms up to you as you interact with him more - he just doesn't know how to be honest with himself and isn't good with words, so he may unconsciously offend others or can be quite cryptic at times.

Appearance: She's 5'5" tall and caucasian. She's a bit thin and appears pale. Her eyes are a rich brown, whereas her hair is a light brown. Her hair falls to about her upper middle back. There are a few hard-to-see streaks of red in her hair from the last time she dyed it.
She has a tattoo of a small but well made rose on the back of her hand.

Past(optional): She had a pretty average and uneventful childhood. She didn't make too many friends at school, as she usually kept to herself. She didn't mind though, and the few friends she managed to make were great fun. She got into trouble at school a few times, though nothing serious. She eventually lost contact with her few friends and reverted back into seclusion for a while.

Personality: She is withdrawn. Most of the time she feels really uncomfortable speaking with strangers, though she does try her best to make conversation when she has to. She doesn't necessarily dislike other people or dislike talking to them, but she greatly prefers her own company. She usually finds it easier speaking to others online.

She frequently gets annoyed whenever someone tries talking to her out of nowhere. Most of the time, she prefers to be left alone. Once someone manages to get her to open up however, she'll be revealed to be friendly, good, and surprisingly mischievous.

Fears: Though Sarah doesn't know of any real phobias she might have, she really dislikes spiders and snakes. She also becomes really paranoid whenever she has to walk alone at night.

Past(optional): Kory had been horribly abused by his father and only parent, with numerous cuts and burns marring his body. Eventually, the authorities found out what was going and Kory's father was imprisoned. Kory was enrolled into Foster Care, and his new parents despised him. The students at his school mocked him for his disfigured body, and the teachers wanted nothing to do with him. Kory was quickly becoming an angry, depressed child, trying to cling to some source of happiness. Then one day he heard about PLR, and made an application right away. He chose the power of Mimicry because all his life he has felt out of control of everything around him. With Mimicry he can be and do whatever he wants.
Personality: Kory believes that only way to be truly happy is to be truly free. Living by no one's rules but his own. He has dreams of self-educating himself as he travels the countryside as he pleases, doing whatever he fancies. He gets extremely upset when people inquire about his scars, so he does his best to keep them hidden. Kory won’t stand by and watch as another person inflicts physical harm upon an innocent, preferring to take the same beating instead if he has to. He doesn’t do this because he likes helping other people, he does it because he thinks “if someone has to suffer, it might as well be me”.

Disadvantage - A body that is under toned or not kept up with will render the power limited or possibly useless as the ability puts a big strain on the various parts of the body. For example the speed will cause great strain on the muscles causing the user to become slower and slower if speed keeps up the user could sprain a limb or possibly break a bone.

Past:
She is a lab child, short and simple. She has been in and out of doctor's office and laboratories because her so called "parents" which were actually workers of a remote and government funded system to enhance children's learning capacity while in seclusion. She was raised by machine and rarely talked to the other "students" or the human instructors but when she did Erin always had a proper air about her, that was until she found video games and online play. She quickly adopted the gamer's more brash speak and and almost vulgar turn of phrase but she continued to hide it as she could rarely play. A few weeks before they had sent her off to the P.R.F she was told that since she had been doing such a good job she would be given a present In the form of a power of which she got to choose from. It took Erin a whole week to come up with a perfect power for herself then she came up with kinetic energy displacement which she had learned about that day. More to be added later.

Personality:
She is an almost complete nerd and an avid reader of manga, comics, and Sci-fi. Her mental state leaves much to be desired as she can at times be.... unpredictable, this coupled with her constant reliance on technology and devices of the like have caused her to develop multiple personalities which she changes when dealing with others irl or while on online games. While talking wih people irl she seems like a kind respective young girl albeit a bit of a at times talkative one almost like a princess, but when she plays games her personality takes a turn and she becomes a brash and cold girl with a venomous tongue that will do more than hurt your feelings. She is very creative and will not hesitate to try something if she has enough evidence to prove it will work.

Personality:Despite being naturally aggressive and a little cranky, Nova tries to maintain as positive as others, even if sometimes she doesn't succeed. She has a good sense of humor before losing her patience, which, indeed, is little. Nova tends to be violent when something goes wrong and, indeed, in many cases the violence is mainly her first choice to fix the problem. Nova has a good heart and, like her companions, is determined to do whatever it takes to help other people. It also appears she takes that more seriously then everyday affairs.
