Yaknow, that blade of the void would be worthless against a golem, logically. Just citing something I noticed while reading the character sheet.

Speaking of void, I love how everybody's got his/her own version of it.

I think most people accept a sword is a poor weapon for taking down a golem, it's hardly effective against the average dude in armour.

@LeeRoyLuckily, Adrian ain't a golem. And remember, the Blade gets about twice as effective at the High-Powered level. Although, would a golem be magical in its entirety, or would it simply be non-magical objects animated around a magical core?

Golems, by definition, are magical objects. As you can only animate them via, well, I was about to say a sigil and a scroll in the mouth. But some people just make golems by animating rock/steel/etc in modern fiction.

I tend to stick with the classic jewish tale though.

Slight issue there, you said your character came round the corner in your initial post (hence being able to see Adrian) but then you had him walking forward (towards Adrian) as he spoke, hence me tracking the distance between them. That would put you out of range of the safety of the corner in the corridor.

This is less me trying to get an advantage over you and more for people reading wondering what the hell just happened. Useful training I suppose as well.

I could just work with it actually, though it's going to make your character look a trifle insane.

He looks somewhat like I imagine a theatrical Vietnam Vet looks like when having flashbacks.

@MelonHead Back in Skalldricjaart, I remember when the wyvern went down. My team, boys all, died in the crash. All except for me, because I was in a hospital, recovering from an arrow wound to the knee. I still blame myself.

Note: The Blade of the Void can only be controlled like Athinar is doing it within a little longer than arm's reach, in a sphere around him, and it can be stopped by Adrian's knife and sword, although it would take a bit of strength to force it back.

Hmm, you really should have clarified that your character was able to essentially make a spiritual weapon appear in mid-air at will and control it, it's not clear from your sheet that he can manipulate it from range.

The reason being such an ability with the speed he can manifest it and the power it has provides him with the potential to instantly kill an opponent who has no business knowing your character can do these things, making it a very high tier ability. It doesn't have the travel time of normal projectiles, and has a host of other advantages to boot.

I'm going to let this slide, but for future reference what you've done is technically cheating. What you enter a fight with is what you have for that fight, no more, no less. Changing the capabilities of your abilities mid-fight is bad form.

@MelonHead Oh, I am sorry, I didn't realize that. I'll be sure to change it in the CS, to avoid confusion.

I still don't really understand your power, it's technically the ability to force-hit an opponent which is banned in Arena so you're going to have to adjust it so that it can't be materialized within a certain range of a physical object.

You must be able to see the complaint, an ability like that is unavoidable if used in a certain fashion, such as the way you're using it to destroy my character's bow.
